Carol: Do you want to take Barney for a walk? Neil: In 17 minutes, 42 seconds. Carol: What are you watching now? Neil: Paint drying. Carol: Oh, not another Squatch253 video. Neil: Yep :)
There is something special working with Dad on projects no matter how old the team gets. I love working with my Dad on various projects he does these days. Always special memories.
You are a Mechanics, Mechanic Classic in your work details . Thank you for your channel, and wanting to share with us. I hope your work ethic and attention to quality can somehow be transferred to our younger generations.
Sir. you and senior are MASTERS at restoration, this restoration deserve a 10 stars evaluation. keep up the good work. I am blown away by the result.have a good day.GERRY G.
Well done!!! If it was mine I would take it to a Antique tractor show from the garage up a low bed trailer, take the 1st price and then put it back into service, lol, or keep it in show condition and let the H, Kubota and the Cat do the work, that is a master piece
You know I just don't get it. Father and son working together and no drama. Don't you guys watch American Chopper? Lol. Thanks for letting us hang out.👍👍
When you're both cut from the same mould; both have a thorough understanding of exactly what needs to be done; and both want it done as quickly as possible, then it's like 'one being with four arms'. You often don't even need to talk - both of you just know what is happening next. My Dad and I are the same.
I can't believe the endless, agonizing, attention to detail. The extra hardware purchases to prop up the tractor parts. The patience to organize the small hardware to be painted, the spare parts to be pained. I'll be honest with you, I could have had an ulcer just watching this. Senior, and Squatch are my heroes. I could never have had the forethought and patience to do this project. All my John Deere restorations are paled to this excellent restoration. :-) :-) :-)
YOU ARE THE ONLY person I watch about ANY tractors!!! I love the way you do your videos. AWESOME JOB!!!!! I’ve painted hundreds of naval aircraft, but nothing else. This winter or spring, I’ll be painting my first vehicles. My truck and the street/rat rod I’m building my wife. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INSPIRATION!!!
Hi Toby. I'm sure Senior is well aware just how handy it is to have you to work the spray gun. That, of course, is a considerable skill in itself. With that size of job and the time constraints it's a two man task and you also need a good paint mixer - or no matter how good the spay operative is you finish up with a mess. And then the pair of you have the skill and expertise required to do all the mechanical work. You really are a remarkable team. Pleasure watching you two. BobUK,
You guys walk the line between OCD and Craftmanship perfectly. That's a compliment in this normally slip-shod world. Personally I've been glued to "Perry Mason" and "Peter Gunn" lately.
Ya, Vic Morrow was one of my favorite actors back in the 60s. Great job on the painting and thanks for getting back to me with my questions. I appreciate that!
It works well when you both know what has to be done and can pick up where the other leaves off without saying a word. Great teamwork!!! Can't wait to see it running!!!!!!
You have both done magnificent job on the rebuild of parts for your tractor. I am looking forward to seeing it put back together as I am sure you both are. Thanks.
So happy to see you beat the weather, now you'll end up with 2-3 weeks in the 560's and 60's because it's done. If it wasn't done, snow by this weekend.
Squatch that awesome you and Squatch Sr are able to do that resto together!!! Good memories made!!! Plus I seen a Lady Squatch make a cameo appearance!
Your shop must smell very good with all that fresh paint. I hope to see that M in person someday as it must be perfect. Congrats to the "Squatch Team" for a GREAT paint job.
The drawbar on my Case SC (the rear hitch hole) had been nearly pulled completely through. There is a TON of weld build up on it. The red sure looks good, it'll look great with all new decals (may I suggest Maple-Hunter vinyl cut decals). They are about the highest quality you can get! She is going to be like a streamline (working) butterfly.
i feel your pain. i just finished painting the body, doors, hoods on a '30 Chev cabriolet. the guy did his own bodywork, so i got to redo that too. SO MUCH FUN
When you get this machine put together it is going to be one beautiful work of art I am going to love seeing it you're doing great keep up the good work
Yay! Glad to see it wrapping up I know yall will be pleased. Pulled the blade off my D47U toolbar so the radiator core could be replaced. Might as well take the day and pull the engine so i can replace the pinion engagement bar. Bought a used starting engine and hope it runs as well as they said so when it goes back together no more pull starting. If not when you finish your series I'll take two and try to make a good one. As always great video.
Beautiful job on the M. Can't wait to see her sitting outside. BTW watching Combat is not being a dork. Let's call it being an historical preservationist. I never missed an episode way back when.
Wholy crap. I’ve been watching for years and my wife asks me all the time “Does he ever actually finish a project?” Well I’m am sure he has but I haven’t seen one from start to finish, he has like 6 going on all at the same time.... this will be the first one I have watched from tear down to restart and drive away. And the painting, shoot, that brings back all the reasons my model planes and rockets never had a fancy paint job, that is a ton of work. It look amazing and the tracker will be NOS showroom drive off when it is done. Amazing job. Can’t wait to see it run. Are tickets being sold to be in the stands when you start it? Lol!
That paint respirator you have lying there uses activated charcoal to do its job. It needs to be stored in its original mylar bag it came in. The new ones have a clear bag included with them. PS, you will need to turn in your OCD card, I saw the dent in the gas tank you painted over! Maybe we can discuss it at Nowthen next year. Say hi to Sr. for me.
Love these videos and the tractor is looking fantastic. One question. Why didn't you fix that ding on top of the fuel tank? That would drive me crazy, lol.
Make sure you have the vent on the gas cap open. My Dad used to tell about a guy who painted his tractor and had the problem of it stalling frequently afterwards. Took him a while to figure out why it would start right up if he checked the gas. Had to pay a mechanic for poking a hole through the paint over the vent hole.
For it's time, Combat! was the BEST war drama ever produced. Rick Jason and Vic Morrow were the most underrated actors ever. The entire series is on UA-cam. A must see. Plus the memorable theme song ,,,, what the hell is atonal music anyway?
Carol: Do you want to take Barney for a walk?
Neil: In 17 minutes, 42 seconds.

Neil: Yep :)
What are you... writing a book?
simply the Best channel on UA-cam real people do a real good job
Beautiful workmanship Toby! Some day you will look back on these videos and be so glad you did the work with Senior. Have a dew and enjoy "Combat".

Painting has a lot in common with pouring concrete- once you start, you can't stop until you're done.
YES indeed! You can't be running behind with concrete!
Hot the nail on the head bud 👌
Or making cheese 🧀

What a team! This is perfection in progress. Right before your very eyes. Beautiful work, guys.
Nice paint work, Squatch! You and Senior are a great team. Have you ordered the decals for the tractor? Thanks for sharing the journey with us. 🇺🇸🚜👍
Well done!!! If it was mine I would take it to a Antique tractor show from the garage up a low bed trailer, take the 1st price and then put it back into service, lol, or keep it in show condition and let the H, Kubota and the Cat do the work, that is a master piece

They are maintaining a tractor, not selling feminine hygiene products. So no drama is needed.
This is why I watch it’s about respect for each other. And I like old equipment running and working
I would imagine there have been a few words exchanged over the years that hit the cutting room floor.
i wonder if the show could have been good if it were like this and not been updramaed (not a word) for the purpose of TV?

Combat, rat patrol and rawhide were my show's back in the day. Great video and really excited to see it all coming together. Great job!
Amazing number of parts for what seems at first glance to be a simple tractor
Have absolutely enjoyed all of the vidios. You do an awesome job. Looking forward to the finished tractor, this has been a very good series
A father and son project, doesn't get any better than that.
Thanks for sharing.

You are going to have a beautiful tractor, makes me want to go and paint my snapper riding mower
You gentlemen make a great team!. And all these memories will last just as long as the tractor will. Cheers
With care, that tractor should outlive ALL of us.
@@jbj27406 without a doubt!
You guys do such a fantastic job of restorations!!
Combat is a great show. Beats what is produced now. Glad you got the spraying done this year.
It appears to have been a good year for the buttercup squash.
I love them too.
Everything turned out really great looking after you guys got it all painted up. Keep up the good work.

17:03 "Combat!" ... [the exclamation point is a bayonet] ... a fine TV series.
Glad you are done painting.
You have both done a grand job. The old girl is going to look better than she did when she was new!
Squatch that awesome you and Squatch Sr are able to do that resto together!!! Good memories made!!! Plus I seen a Lady Squatch make a cameo appearance!
