The build video starts after the introduction.
This is my first UA-cam video so leave any comments in the comment section, I’m still learning 🙏🏽
Frank's on UA-cam! Love it bro, cool idea with the vacuum 😎
Thanks Scott, it’s way harder then Instagram 😂 much respect for the quality videos you do bro 🙇🏽
@@carpenterone3thanks bro, content is the most important and you always have cool ideas to share. Looking forward to more videos!
Great video, don’t worry about quality the content is what is important.
Steve Clark Agreed 👍
Your the next big Thing 👊👍. I can't wait for your new content. It's also nice seeing that other big UA-camrs are backing you up already. Keep up the great work. Chris.C from Pittsburgh
P.S. Get those Amazon affiliate links up and going make that money brother 👊
Thanks bro 😎👊🏽
Hi Franck my name is karim from paris France am carpenter Specialized in the kitchen and i loved it your idea super video am gonna try to make the same 👍👍👍👍
🙏🏽👊🏽
Good to see you on here brother!
Great video! Building one now. It would be great if you could add a source list of the parts you used and links. I know that’s asking a lot and a real time suck.
Sir that trick with vacuum is GENIUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just finished watching! You are truly the king of #ghettojigs that was amazing Frank.
Thanks Richard! I’ve got a lot of work to do, I give you guys mad props for being able to edit the videos like you guys do LOL this one came out horrible and it about killed me 😂
Carpenter One3 haha! You will get the hang of it!
Guys this video came out like crap and I’m still trying to learn how to edit 😂 I didn’t realize that the video was doubled up three minutes in until somebody pointed it out, the next one will be better 🙏🏽
I thought someone was drinking 😂😂😂😂 (the person shooting the video) no but all kidding aside awesome work
Carpenter One3 Dude great video don’t listen to the crazy guys with the sounds and shit on videos .
Thanks dude
Likely way better than my first video will be. lol
For a first-time video on UA-cam, shot on a cellphone camera no less, with no detailed planning or rehearsal, this was excellent. Shooting UA-cam videos is like shooting for television. It takes planning, equipment and a little time. You don't have a lot of time because of your job and home life, so you put together what you can. You're a lot better at this than you think you are. (The occasional repetition in your presentations was not distracting.)
UA-cam Influencers like April Wilkerson, C Reeves, Woodshop Junkies, A Concord Carpenter / Toolbox Buzz, or Matt Estlea all shoot their footage on dedicated video cams and edit their footage on computers. This also implies they stockpile their footage on hard drive arrays. All that stuff is expensive. That's for someone who's either in the videography business to begin with or who wants to make their woodworking endeavors on UA-cam into a money maker. (A very common video rig will be a 4k-capable camera or camcorder (tapeless), a wireless mic rig (and/or a separate quality audio recorder) that the host wears, then they import their tapeless footage to the computer, typically a late-model Macintosh running Final Cut Pro, edit the footage in FCP, and store the footage on hard drives in case it is needed.)
The most useful item you might be able to use in your setup would simply be a wireless mic. I have no idea how that would be plugged into a smartphone, but somebody's probably already thought of that. Having a wireless lapelle mic on you would tame the "shop acoustics" significantly.
It's all a question of what you want to do with your UA-cam channel and how much you're willing to invest in it.
All true and I have no idea how far I wanna take this 😂💯👊🏽
That charger box is pretty cool
This is the best idea I ve every seen in flexvolt vac!
Killed it!! Love the idea of using the tstak with the vacuum!!
That dust extractor mod is the business bud. I love the machine I have 2. But your right not much room inside. Top job
It works great and I use it with 3 different vacuums 👊🏽
Carpenter One3 made mine just the same and perfect👍
Mate it’s about bloody time been following you for ages and kacking myself with your stories, love watching your organising videos etc. what a pearler of a video can’t wait to see the next one 🤙🏼👍🏼

Real deal craftsman right there! Excellent design and information, keep doing what your doing man.
Had to come watch this again , can’t wAit to get mine going 💯
You always make me want to spend money
😎
You are the king of tool box mods. Keep up the great content on both Instagram and UA-cam
That Madonna song springs to mind Like a Virgin.Great video mate enjoyed it.I like the dust extractor awesome
Hello Frank you are a awesome guy at the end it will all make sense.
You never forget your first. Nice job 🎈(found you via Scott Brown)
Your Instagram content is some of my favorite. Great ideas and tips. I’ve learned a lot from you. Your UA-cam channel is a definite follow! We switched to the Tstak/Versastak over a year ago. Like having the drawers and it’s been great for onsite work. Still a work in progress, but you’re giving us some great ideas. Thanks for taking the time to share.
Awesome vid.
I am very interested in the Dewalt Tstak set up you have. I’d like to see more of it.
Keep them coming.
Excellent cinematography at the beginning of the video!
Like your content.....Scott brown led me to you and now subbed...keep doing it 👍
Great seperator build.
Will deffo keep that in mind when shopping for a new vacum.
Congrats Frank! Only room for improvement from here on out 👊😎
No apologies for the video quality. Like everything else on your Instagram. Your quality always gets better with each project.
Only suggestion and it’s something I’ve used many times from others. Put links to the items you bought in the description. It’ll help the community out tremendously. I’ve wanted the dewalt Vac for a longtime. After seeing this idea I will put it on my list of tools for this upcoming year.
I’ll definitely do that moving forward I just didn’t know how, I got to do some more research on how to do this UA-cam thing
Congrats on your first UA-cam video Frank. Glad you took the plunge 👍🏻
This is awesome. I’ve been making the same transition from systainers to versastack. I looked really hard at Packouts and They are great but didn’t fit all my shop cabinets. And I don’t need super heavy duty. Versastack/tstak fits the needs and the value is unbeatable.
Just subscribed! Now off to find you on IG. 👍
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, a gallon extension for the FlexVolt vaccume
Remember when I was one of the first few followers on insta , I knew it u will rock n roll :)
You part of my daily routine to watch Frank :)
Marry Christmas and Happy New Year
P.s
So much better with you tube tube to post videos
You where dude and I really appreciate hanging in there with me 💯
Broke your UA-cam 🍒 Frank!!! Congrats brother!!!!! You know I’ll be following my man!!👊👍😎
Thanks big Joe 👊🏽
Your tips are second to none. Dope video. Keep up the great videos on here and IG.
First video you did GREAT!
Frank that's sick! Make more videos man!!!!!
Just uploaded a new one dude
Glad you’re doing videos, man. You are one of my favorite guys on the gram.
Thanks dude
Gave me some great ideas! Thanks for sharing your hard work! 👍
Nice Frank. I've been thinking along similar line but for my Bosch L Boxx setup. It seems like most of the brands don't really think thru how far they can make their storage more used in their systems. They always do it a bit but not to the full capability. Festool being the most notable exception.
One suggestion: caps or gates for your inlet and outlet on the separator. Even if you are only going to the bin outside, the motion as you walk ( trip over in my case) may cause you to leave a dust trail undoing all you good work. Particularly if there is a lot in there and particularly for the straight line inlet. Triton do gates on their dust separator and they work a charm, as long as you remember to close them, unlike me.
Well done. My Brand OCD would have to paint the craftsman tops red lol.
Sweet set up! Looking forward to more videos.
Your channel is going to go viral
You came along way brother congratulations 💯👍🏽
Thanks Big Boy
God dam Frank you screwed your self by not clamping that plywood down. I’m sure your Disney sponsorship was shit canned real quick! That’s some good outside the box thinking man keep up the good work! JT
Disney is definitely playing hard to get 😂
Congrats on your first UA-cam video 👍👍 .
Frank! Great job! Now I want to make this. Darn you. Love and respect.
😂😂👊🏽👊🏽 thanks Freddy
Thanks for the video Frank just finished my build on this
Great job man! Appreciate the work. I already have all the parts for the charging box ordered. Can’t wait to get it together! Now I’m gonna need to make this vac too!!
That’s awesome dude 👊🏽
Hi
Where did you buy the parts to build this Please send a link Awesome idea
Well done Frank! I’ve something like this more than a year ago, yours come out better 👍🏽
I really like this idea!
Thanks!
First off well played second can you do a step by step video of how you made the extra tank. Keep the videos rolling man yr a pro.
Liked your video tutorial hope you make more
Frank! Dude. Awesome job. I skipped the Packout, because it is just too bulky. I did acquire a ton of TSTAK and Versastack boxes and drawers. Not sure if I can muster the funds for the Dewalt vac, but I may make a vac from something. I was thinking how much I love the Caftsman versastack totes. I see they have a nice 85 and 140 pc bit case from Craftsman, might make a nice lid for the tote. I think it's worth it just for the case, even if the bits might suck. I mainly use Milwaukee bit sets, but they are bulky. So much wasted space on the red stuff. I was thinking maybe all my box purchases was a mistake.. now I think, maybe not. lol I wish the Craftsman had a single deep drawer box, or a super slim 3 drawer would be great for blades, and bits.
Liked, Subscribed.
That’s awesome dude thank you! Honestly the dust separator works good with any vacuum lately I have been using it more with my festool midi, But I have even hooked it up to my rigid shop vac and it works really good, make one you won’t regret it
Great idea... I'm looking to put together a similar vacuum. My question is- the set up you have now is the hepa filters being used if the saw dust goes strait into the craftsman box?
Keep,it up man I watch all your instagram stuff
Great vid Frank you will be like Scott Brown in no time love your jigs and mods I'm a huge Dewalt fan that vac setup would cost about $1000 dollars here in NZ Bare tool vac $700 tstak bok $90 plus the other parts but great vid keep it up Bro
right on Frank! great video!
Thanks a lot, love your work,🤘
Van tour next? Like the storage system 👍
I haven’t built out my current vehicle yet, I’m going to though and I’ll film the whole process 👊🏽
Nice work frank.
Great video. I vote you do one on your router jig.
I will I just have to make more of them dude
Great job Frank! As a fellow Tstak user I love all your posts on Instagram. Maybe do a tstak "backpack" video and show off the tool holders mounted to the boxes?
I will definitely do that dude 👍🏼
Good stuff. Have seen a bunch of diy dust collection with a 5 gal bucket, but I love this idea. I must have missed where you talk about what you're using for your wrist remote?
Just kidding. Just noticed it comes with the vac. Nice.
Very interesting. Can you check to see if the vacuum loses power when it is all the way up or
all the way down? Another UA-camr showed that when sucking water, the vac loses some
power when higher than the source. This I'm sure it applies to other vacs.
That’s damn good idea. Dewalt should copy your idea. Save on bags too. Thanks
Straight GENIUS!!! Nice 👌
Nice work frank!
Thanks Charlie
Great job brotha!!!!
That’s Rudy 👊🏽
... very good innovation, you didn't show how much dust is passing to the FlexVolt vacuum , so , can you please tell how much dust goes in to the vacuum ? Thanks.
I have several times on Instagram, I filled up this box probably 10 times on the same vacuum bag
@@carpenterone3 I tried to find you on Instagram, but everytime I going there the page is full with beautiful girls and I forgot way I am there for 😊
Sick set up.
how about a parts llist with some amazon links.. thats awesome man
How much dust was in the vacuum bag did much if any go through the separator
Great idea by the way
I'm wondering if it has enough power to suck up water.
In my case, top box would be exclusively as a wet vac, then unplug to use the bottom for dry. (...appliance repair guy that use the tstak and versastack systems for work.)
Very Cool Stuff Bro... 🔥
Well done man!!
Please add more content! Much prefer to see content on youtube vs. IG
I will soon dude
Awesome content Thank you! 😁
That's a damn good idea!
Bad ass brother..
🙏🏽
Nice work bro!
Man. This is Ligid!
brilliants solutions i really loved them
Very Cool!!!
New to video editing ? No worries mate you’ll get better.....gotta start somewhere...right ? Good stuff.
How does this setup work while using fleece bags in the vac itself
So I bought the same craftsman box for the dust collection but how do you not loose vacuum through the lid? Something I noticed before I start. Should I find some sort of seal for it? You don’t seem to needed to address any vacuum loss.
The craftsman box already has a gasket in the lid to prevent suction loss. I’m sure having a secondary hose will lose some suction or the shorter the hose the better I’m sure. I’ve been using mine for years and it works amazingly well. Is there some lack of power with this dust extractor? Absolutely not the most powerful. The fine dust tends to collect in the bag and filters inside the unit so be sure to check it for emptying or cleaning for maximum extractor strength.
Great Video i need it for my dewalt sander can you send me the details on materials you used and what you bought thanks Bro!!!!
The full parts list It is on my Instagram page in my highlights 👍🏽 It’s titled separator parts list
Why not let the dust go into the vacuum? Is it the weight of the vacuum?
Can you post how you made the charger box with the craftsman tool bix on youtube.
Yeah I could probably do that dude I get asked about it all the time
That dewalt is more a dust extractor than a vacuum. The reason is so small because is meant for fine dust from sanding or concrete drilling. That fine dust is much heavier than saw dust.
I aware of that but they list it at 125 cfm and I would be surprised if if even had half of that 💯
What dolly is it you are using for this is it the dewalt one, just because not sure if the vac clips straight on to it? Or can I just use the cart with extendable handle I think you mention the pipe fitting clears the handle?
Regards
William
Yes it’s the dewalt one, I have the craftsman rolling tool box, the dewalt dolly and dewalt cart and the Tstak fits in all 3 dude 👌🏽
Flexvolt vacuum not Tstak sorry
@@carpenterone3 no worries thanks alot 👍 bud
Definitely a nice set up. Except they're not both owned by Dewalt, they're both owned by Black and Decker, along with kobalt and a few others. Its nice to mix and match though since the different brands don't make all of the different boxes.
Bro good stuff 🔥🔥
Genius!
Any way you can put the part you added for the for the in and out connections out here some of us dont use instagram?
I just added it to the highlights on my Instagram page, I’m going to probably upload another UA-cam video in a couple weeks and I’ll add those to that video for those that don’t have Instagram 👍🏼
Great idea :)
Get it Frank!
Great idea!
