- Convert your saw into a table rauter with millimeter guide, in this example I use a Dewalt DW745 light saw, the saw is light and the adapter is removable in case you need to move the saw.
I made it with scraps of wood to spare and spent about 3 dollars (75 pesos) on screws.
It can be improved but it covers basic needs and has good precision.
Great Idea and for me, a huge space saver. Loved it UNTIL he gouged the massive chunks out of his saw fence!! oh my. Sacrificial board for me I think.
Exactly what I was looking for. I don’t want to make a full router table, and I don’t have any jigs made, so this is great compromise and allows me to use my table saw In a new way. Well done.
I was looking for a diy on building a router table for my DWP611 but this is a much better idea.

This is without a doubt the simplest and the best idea I have seen yet for a router attachment using what I already have for a table. I most definitely am going to build this to my Dewalt 10” table saw. I have been on here looking at how to mount this dewalt router DW618K to the BOSCH RA1181 . But now I’m just going to build this tomorrow instead. Thank you sir very much for this intelligent idea you have come up with . It’s very simple , sturdy, it also extends the table for the table saw also. Thank you again

Maybe they have something against destroying your table saw fence? Could have just clamped a sacrificial board to the fence instead of permanently destroying it

I’m sure glad he used the English pictures and not the Spanish version also. I was also able to learn a lil Spanish cause of the English pics and would have been totally lost without them so bravo for thinking ahead and filming with the English camera instead of the Spanish one brother!! Thanks for the inspiration. I just finished making virtually the same for my DeWalt 745 yesterday and it works great. I decided to just glue in some extra bracing pieces for added strength, but essentially the same unit. Good idea and glad you took the time to put a video together.

Good job sir. Greetings from California. Me gusta tu idea. Yo antes hice una similar para mi Dewalt de bateria. Lo unico que yo no sacrifique la fence (la guia) yo le hice su propia guia en caso que en ese momento quiera cortar algo en la table saw. Asi no tengo que ajustar otra vez la guia del router. Pero todo lo demas te felicito.

I like it but instead of drilling the fence I would make a U shaped fence extension with the router access cut into it. I also wonder if extending the fence this way to exactly the distance he moved the measurement adjustment would eliminate the need to adjust it. I can't mentally picture whether it will do that or move it twice as far.. I'll have to look when I get home. If I get into it I'll video it and add an English version for us gringos. I'm very impressed at your design, the precision is immaculate.

Para los que no entienden mucho del tema, la máquina no se debilita por unos simples agujeros..pero si quiero añadir algo, yo cortaría la tabla antes de agujerear y atornillar..es más fácil darle la altura exacta a la mesa y marcar para atornillar

He leído en Google que en esa posición la caída del aserrín al interior del motor puede averiarlos ya que no cuentan con sistema de dispersión de aire en esa posición. De antemano gracias
