.... very good review, and a very honest opinion . The problem I have with this extractor is the same as yours + the stiffness of the hose, that's way I changed it with a extendable one which goes from 1 meter to 10 meters. Soon I will do the same as the guy from the link I put in your comments only I am going to use the Toughsystem trolley box or the t-stack trolley box so I can move it around , the dolly is not practically for me and the t-stack trolley is to expensive for only 3 boxes I have of this kind.
Seems those that expect this expensive ultra fine silica dust extractor to perform shop vac duty are disappointed. This OSHA compliant mini vac was designed for ultra fine hazardous dust situations such as drywall sanding and concrete. That's why it has the alarms, filter knockers, felt bag, low volume hose and small capacity tank. For sawdust and general job site cleanup get an inexpensive high volume shop vac.
Tool looks great, I've been looking in to getting one for my wall chaser. What are the tool dimensions? I can't seem to find the information on dewalts site...
I use mine for the mitre saw and rail saw and find it very handy. 9.0 batteries a must like you say. Also the bag is a waist of time. Apart from the run time and that bag it’s great.
Good review.. it’s a decent extraction unit . Your right about the bag , the unit should of been deeper in height to accommodate the bag . Saying that I found it’s need to be used with a bag , because the filters constantly become clogged, and will sound the alarm. I just empty the bag when it’s 3/4 full and reuse ♻️ it .

I would use the dust bag vacuuming sharp objects on the floor. Is there any cleaning kit for this hose?
Not to my knowledge.
I’ve wondered how well this will work with the new Sheetrock sander
I also wonder that. It imagine it should do fine.

Most 32mm vacuum bags can be used with it - secret.
Really? Are speaking from experience?
You didnt mention the really annoying alarm that goes off all the time !
I have never hears any alarm. When does it go off?
@@theremodelerslife when the battery is low, and when the bag gets slightly full (nowhere near full) and its really loud ,
Must be a newer feature
Open up the unit and disconnect the red/black/white wire connector. Alarm is now disabled. Just keep an eye on the amount of suction.

I stopped watching when he said he doesnt know anything about design or flow dynamics and then said they should have designed it a different way
