The only thing I can see really it being useful for is possibly cutting a couple tiles out instead of using a big wet dry vac but then again you can just use the big wet dry vac. And you made a good point about using planers.👍

I’m onto my second one as no parts are available for this extractor in the uk, so not sure about the US.
The second was through warranty so if I had to pay for it again, I would look at another brand.
The bag storage ( base) of the unit isn’t deep enough to accommodate the entire bag capacity and the extraction is certainly not great, especially when cutting a few mm from stock.
Dewalt let us down with this product

Thanks for the video. I bought the grinder attachment. After reading the manual fully, I realized that your grinder is pointed in the wrong direction. This made you push the grinder in the wrong direction. You are fighting the saw because it is not going with the rotation of the blade.

No S#%t,, just had to replace the 10 amp hour batteries on my Dewalt lawnmower after less than two years of light usage. The whole damn thing cost a touch over 600. The batteries were 300 and change. Had I known that I would’ve bought a gas powered one for 200 bucks.
