WOW! Awesome addition hearing him create at the beginning of the video. Idk why it felt better than just seeing a video and saying "awesome studio. Not sure if they can use any of that stuff. But they'd make a great interior designer" LOL. But seriously loved the vibes throughout the video. Also love his story and seeing someone actively hungry for work. His space is perfectly simplistic and intentional..
This is such a great studio tour. Because I know most producers who are starting to take their work more seriously (including me), have a similar setup as Scott’s setup. Just shows that you don’t need a lot to make great music. All you need is what you’re comfortable with, and a good vibe :)
Love Scotts vibe, great taste with the Steely Dan and Daft Punk records, we have the same studio monitors so that gets him brownie points lol. Definitely the kind of guy you want to keep close, dude is passionate!
Great music in the beginning and excellent studio tour. Even though it’s not as big as all the other studio tours that I’ve watched, yours has this vibe that’s very comforting and welcoming.
Shout out to this dude. Doing what it takes to make things work and get his career going. I know so many people who wash out because they're not willing to do stuff like this.
It is so great to see some, lets say, more affordable gear here. Sometimes, being a beginner, it helps to watch someone creating in the studio which, in this form and shape, is a bit more accessible to someone just starting out. In almost every epic studio tour here we can see something totally new or highend stuff. In this one I saw a pocket operator, tiny sampler which I literally have next to me right now and can take with me everywhere. JBL monitors, Yamaha reface series shoutout, amazing video! :)
He should put the looper on the send/return on the Mackie mixer. He can then send a split, or headphone out of interface into Mackie and the mute the mains so it doesn’t feed back. Then just send it into the send, for the looper.
Sub'd to you everywhere, Scott -- and I definitely want to see you on UA-cam (I don't do TikTok)! Seeing a modest setup like this -- something more like my home studio -- is a good reminder that creativity doesn't depend on lots of gear. Making everything work for you is key. And those Slate VSX are clutch! I have "good enough" sound in my room for tracking and editing basics -- but once I start mixing in earnest, I'm on the VSX until done. Best money I ever spent on gear!
I feel like the solution for working the looper in such that it can capture the DAW and your live stuff is to get a good monitor selector and run one set of stereo outs to your monitors and one out to the stereo ins of the looper.
I mean, these videos are getting more and more interesting! 👍🏻👏🏻💪🏻🙋🏼♂️ I'd love to see a collaboration project between you two and possibly Rhett, think it would be awesome! Cheers!
Thank you Scott! This was a great video. Since you mentioned Jake Reed wouldn't it be a great time to do an updated tour since his build out? I'm a big fan Andrew. Keep up the great work.
That pretty much my home studio just recently got the Manley mic and upgrading on my desk and neve preamp After Christmas and ready to get vocal and music out let’s go
Great video. As a full grown, middle-aged adult with a pretty nice house, I would have ZERO qualms about flipping my master bedroom into a studio and sleeping on a couch 365 nights out of the year if that was an option. Unfortunately, the other half - well - she doesn't understand the struggle, so it is what it is. But if she should ever decide to run off with another guy.... 🤣.
My bedroom is the Bedroom, my living room is de studio, works better. Bigger, better acoustics, looks more like a man cave with movies and gaming. Like Tommee Profitt's studio, but more synths and drum machines.
Shoutout to our boy Scott for letting us into his intimate home studio!

THIS THE FIRST TIME YOU HAD SOMEONE ON HERE WITH GOOD MUSIC 🔥

Great video guys . Steely Dan for the win for sure . 👍

This is great! I love seeing more modest setups like this because it makes a studio build seem more attainable.
Beautiful homestudio
Great video...Scott you're inspirational! Love the setup
Great tour! I really love the simplicity and effectiveness of the studio. And, wow, what a talented guy Scott is.
Love it,
especially when you can view the artist in his/hers own DAW doing a sample of their work in real time.
You have the all-important omnipotent Lava Lamp, so...
You're bound to make it big.
Damn. I think I saw a 2nd Lava Lamp! You will be blessed.
Love the more minimal setup being featured. Cool to see how much can be done in a small space!
nice. its all about the workflow. dude gets it.
Love Love Love This!!!!! Scott is extraordinarily talented and his studio is awesome.
Great tour, never a disappointment and this one is a bonus! Great to mean the man behind the scene
You’re a wizard Scotty

Absolutely love slate vsx!!
Great studio tour. Excellent use of his space. Great to see someone in the early days of their musical journey.

Scott just inspired me to get my mini-nova out of the closet! Cool space!
Lovely and talented guy. I jumped over and subbed to his channel. Thanks for sharing Scott’s story. 🙏

My thumbs up was more for his playing! Nice
Nice keyboard studio. Interesting how little sound treatment is going on. But doesn't matter as much as it mostly used for production and writing?

I love that damn intro!
Bien !! Uad apollo!!!
Great Space, anyone know the name of that clock on Scotts Desk looks really cool?
It’s the iPhone on an anker wireless charger
Hello there, this is Slate Digital. We have changed our name to Robert Simpson.
We’re going to need those headphones back.
😂😂😂😂
Bro make some loop packs!!!! You sound incredible 😲
Let's go ahead and get the info on that preset from the intro piece.
More epically average studios!
if you want VHS get a chase bliss generation loss mk2 or lossy pedal
Scott is so freaking talented. Big things ahead for this guy
talented guy...
Upload to UA-cam, Scott!!!
(You know you wanna)
😎
He could try hooking the looper to an aux out on the mixer and bring it back on another channel...
whats the little controller to the right of the yamaha cp keyboard ?
AMTV Cribs : Scott's Edition.
If Scott wants a better mic I'd be happy to send him one of my Rode NTK's.
😎😎

get this man a mioXM or mioXL for that MIDI situation
I was thinking a multi clock but that would only work for timing and connectivity but just checking out mioxm now you mention it 🎉
Play audio IU is the new one with midi and xlr and usb c
What happened to the audio?
UA-cam bro ----tic tok takes you down rabbit holes
Put up some Mininova Tips and tricks!!
THE APOLLO X4 HAS ADAT I/O SO YOU CAN ADD 8 MORE CHANNELS BUT I'M SURE HE KNOWS THAT..

No offense but I loathe Tiktok.
