From what I’ve had in the test drive and with the tornado it seems to do really good damage and cripple planes to where they can’t fly but not always give the kill when doing so

...I did that last night!🤘(spaded it in one match) It's not very good, the 4 peashooters is better than 2, but it's still peashooters in a very mid aircraft, worth mentioning I only played the one game full stockers. Not quite "the entire enemy team" either, but kicking eight seals ain't too shabby I guess.

I'm currently grinding German air tree and I hoped to get past G91 before Alpha Jet. Well, won't happen but AJ is pretty cool it seems, especially for CAS.

Remove the extra variables before I try to return and deal with the challenging foe.

Play the French one and just use the external gun pods. Its decreases the flight capabilitys much less the the gun under the Fuselage. Best War Thunder Content Creator !

So we can assume that excluding the flares the french alpha jet is better than the german one, because it gets a defa cannon which does more damage and if you want you can equip 2 more defas

I was fighting it in my Ariete. I was surprised it was able to hang with me, turn with me. I did eventually win, but he did give me a run for my money.

quick tip, no need to run mixed flares/chaff bc the aim7c sparrow is literally the worst air to air missile in the game and doesn't start pulling 7-15Gs until over 4s after it leaves the rail
Hell I don't think the seeker even turns on for X seconds for some reason so it's a guessing game.
Few things to try to fix the laggy recording. Disable every overlay possible. (steam, windows/xbox whatever it is, etc.) Disable vsync but i assume it is not enabled. Disable Gsync. Use DDU to reinstall vga driver. Reduce recording bitrate. Use other software to record but realistically you only have two options OBS and Shadowplay itself. That's all I can think of. Hope it helps.
Great video but idk if its on me or my hardware, but there is a very high pitched noise in the background. Not a big problem, i doubt there are alot of people that will notice it due to watching on their phone just something i wanted to mention

I feel like the gun-pods on the French variant would actually be pretty dang fun. I think the drag increase is worth the ability to actually shoot down what you're looking at.

I'm the ariete. The first crit you did when I failed to dodge the head-on was enough to kill me so I just tried to wipe out as many people as possible before dying, which led to the kamikaze with the mig 19
16:51 well technically you get 2 air spawn for normal price in ground rb so you can take both also the alpha jet competes with the f84f (lol) and etendard ivm which has keyboard guided missles and better bombs but less rockets so its also ok (worth to mention 9.0 which is the br of etendard does not have a line up but 8.7 does so i think alpha jet in general is better)

Honestly while I use this plane as a fighter in ARB (and I do have a lot of fun) the gun just sucks at killing anything that's not a AI ground unit BUT in GRB I've been getting more kills with the gun than the bombs, just point your nose at any lightly armored target with the default belt and they're gone in a microseconds. The APHE activates on the thinnest of aluminum sheets which allows you to simply shred SPAAs and light tanks with impunity while still racking top down kills on heavier targets.

the french alpha jet E has a defa, which is a much better gun, and taking the two defa gunpods actually produces way less drag than the single bottom gun, while also being easier to aim cuz they're higher up.

I have the same gun problem in the P51D-30, in the P51H-5-NA I have no problem aiming but I get in the D-30 and it’s just wobbling all over

They should.d have just give the German version the aim9p’s and mavericks put it on 10.0, put it rank 7 and therefore they bridged the gap between the G91 and tornado

Defyn, at 6:48 when you "severe damage" an enemy plane, the kill will be yours. A cool change is that anyone can finish someone off, so both players get +1 kill.
I think the only way to not get a kill is if the enemy colides with an ally
edit: I mean, it may show that someone else killed him, but on statistics it will add a kill to you aswell
And moreover both players get missing 20% of reward (severe damage gives 80%) so such finished off plane by somebody else gives 120% of reward (80% (severe damage) + 20% (for the player achieving severe damage) + 20% (for the player who finished off the enemy))
Check out the french one it gets defas and can take 3!

Can you do Taiwanese P-47D-23-RA at some point? The hard stats are the same as with D-30, but that's at 5.0, while D-23 is at 3.7. If the stats are correct, it should be OP as hell.
The stats aren't correct. It is a copy/paste of the P-47D-22 in the US tree.
