I've heard of The Cult before but not this song but I really liked it. The musical arrangement was good and the guitars sounded great along with the lead vocals. I'm gonna have to listen to more music from The Cult. I was thinking this song was about Edie Sedgwick by the title name and her life story in the ''60's was a tragic life she lived and she was born in April ,1943 and she sadly died of a drug overdose in November of 1971 at only 28 years old.
Thanks for the reaction Tammy. The Cult were/are a difficult band to pin a genre to.... rock, alternative take your pick......but always a great sound......hope your subscribers enjoyed it🤟👍👍...IMHO their album " Electric" is a banger.......one that probably went under most people's radar.
my brother digs these guys. he met them back in the late 80s or early 90s. his brother in-law owns Mates rehearsal studios where the biggies go. he got some posters signed by them.. i have a VERY rare box set of rarities thats probably worth a hunk. Ian still has his voice. i use to rap with Jamie when i had social media. cheers
I really liked them and have never heard of them. Sometimes it takes me a couple of times first hearing a song before I can tell if I like it or not, but I liked this one the 1st time I heard it.
@@RockinReactionRollers of course, that has happen and sometimes i get it on spot. She sells is a biggie. love removal machine is another, reminds me of Start me Up by the stones.
This is off my second favorite Cult album. My favorite song off this album is Sweet Soul Sister. This got alot of radio play around here but sadly their best album Electric got next to no airplay other than Love Removal Machine occasionally. These guys also are fantastic live. Great request and great reaction Tammy. When I got up around 2 am, there was a King Crimson reaction for Book Of Saturday. Then I get down to work and it's gone! King Crimson is tricky to get onto reaction channels but I believe there is one you can get on. In the early 80's there was a show on ABC called Friday's. It was an SNL clone and they had musical guests on. King Crimson performed Elephant Talk and I've seen it on other reaction channels so you might can try that one. It's from the 80's version of the band unlike the 1973 song request you tried to get on. But it'll give you a good taste of what these virtuoso musicians are all about. Good try though!!😊
Good one Mark. One of those part of the family bands for me. The run of the 3 albums, Love - Electric - Sonic Temple was unique and impressive. Love was alternative/goth. Electric was straight up, in your face rock. Electric totally confused the fans of the first album. Heavy rock fans thought of The Cult as alternative and didn't pay attention to the album and Sonic Temple took the first alternative/goth (my opinion - the critical reviews were all over the place) and combined it with heavy, big production sound which took The Cult to mainstream heavy glam rock. Electric is one of my favorite albums.
you are the one and only on UA-cam reacting to this timeless masterpiece! and for me, the greatest song of the cult. thank you very much! ..if I can just make a note, I'm sorry you didn't react to the video. it deserves a lot, it's a great video.
The video by King Crimson did play with picture and sound last night but it was eventually blocked and taken down by this morning probably by UA-cam. So there is no point in doing anymore of their videos if they are all just going to be blocked I guess. I expected it to get blocked and removed anyway though.
UC says there is one that we might be able to get on called Elephant Talk and I think someone has requested this song so we will prob give it another try here soon.

80's were the BEST!!!😊😊😊
Great song, one of my favorites on this album
Great song, great band. So terribly underappreciated.
You are absolutely right!!
