Solo:: before we disappear, cleaning my gun, I promise it’s not goodbye, Covers: thank you, imagine ‘Metallicas One, a day in the life, patience, Crawling w Linkin park-when he comes out on stage and starts to sing chills every time
RIP to an absolute legend! ❤ One of the best voices to ever grace a stage. I was lucky enough to see him live during his solo career, and he is missed by so many. ❤❤️🩹❤️
I don't know if this is what you had in mind, but for me, the similarity of Chris Cornell and Chris Stapleton has to do with a similar kind of bone-deep honesty and equally honest depth of feeling and ability to express that feeling through not only their great/amazing voices, but their artistic/musical choices, which are always true (again with the honesty, lol) to the song and it's meaning/expression. Their choices always are aimed at enhancing the song and what it means and feels, as opposed to being aimed at enhancing them and their egos, showing off their talent and such. They are both pure vessels for the music...so I guess that's another word that, for me, brings them together: purity. Somehow, in a (to put it mildly) impure world, they've managed to keep their music pure. And thank you, while I'm talking about honesty and purity (unless I am totally misreading you) for keeping your reactions honest and pure. A joy to listen to and watch you and share your journey, which, btw, is impressive. I've been following you since you were sitting around with two other guys, and I'm really glad you and your channel are doing so well. Seems like even your health has improved (or at least your fitness), and I'm happy for all of it for you. p.s. Again, just my perspective, but for me, both artists have a rare, compelling and fascinating blend of utter simplicity and total sophistication...and also a feeling of having gone through some s*** and pain, yet having managed to preserve something joyful, innocent, loving and childlike...all of which I see (or imagine I see) in you/your reactions.
Chris is unforgettable, he was and is so special and so many people know it. There will never be his magic ever again. His voice changed over the years and was so special from the beginning to the end. Thank you Mr Cornell for all the emotions I have felt because of your voice and will always feel until the day I leave this world . I never met you but I feel you every time I hear you sing.
Beautiful! Chris also put out an incredible solo album in 1999 - Euphoria Morning. With tracks like When I'm Down, and Preaching the End of the World. You would love it.
Yes! Chris is my favorite. ❤️ your reactions. If u want to keep on the covers he does a mashup of One using Metallica’s lyrics and U2s music. So good!😊
So special. Chris was a gift to us.
So true
You are way not alone in how you feel about Chris. I miss him every day and still cannot accept he is not with us anymore. I do cry.
I am the Highway❤ His beautiful voice❤❤what a tragic loss

💔RIP Chris Cornell -Please react to Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart (official video)
Thoroughly understand everysingle thing you’ve said here. It literally hurts to see/hear him. He is always my favorite.
I love how articulate you are and your realness when you describe these songs

My heart breaks EVERY time I hear him. I literally cry every time. The soul, the truth, the magic. RIP angel. You are forever missed. 💔💔💔
miss you Chris

What Rock singer, has both the balls and the talent, to cover Whitney Houston, and ACTUALLY PULL IT OFF?
Other way around bro! Cornell has been at it for much longer than Stapleton
I really miss Chris.I miss SRV,Freddie,Janis and others, but Chris hits a different emotional venerability than all the others do.
Listen to his acoustic version of I Only Love You When I’m Down live with just a piano.
LOUD LOVE
Don't forget temple of the dog.
Yes, Chris Stapleton may be good, but please don't compare the two. Chris Cornell came along way before, and his voice and style is distinctive.
You need to listen to the studio version of Soundgarden's Slaves and Bulldozers. Chris vocals are insane 🔥
You need to react to Alice In Chains Love, Hate, Love live at The Moore. Layne and Chris Cornell were both unique in the emotions they made you feel.
Like Prince. He was a musicians musician. Too many gone
Listen. I LOVE Chris. But this is Whitney’s song. I also LOVE Chris Stapleton. But let’s leave this to Whitney.
All i know is i am happy that he was part on my generation and i got to see him live R.I.P
