A Riolu/Lucario. I mean, come on, they could've done so much with the whole Aura thing. Especially in Sinnoh, just after Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
Shawn McMillan Imagine if he caught a Scyther in Kanto, and it evolved in Johto?! The trade evolution might've been a problem, I guess. Or maybe he trades with someone thinking he's get a Scyther, but it evolving because of its item! That'd be cool too.
In season one and two they never really cared about trade evolution that much. Remember Poliwhirl evolving into Politoad? It only needed a Kings Rock but he wasn't traded.
Either that or Brock could've evolved his Onix into Steelix. Brock could've been more involved in Johto events and would get a much needed power boost to stay relevant in battle.
He should had captured that Shiny Phantump he met in XYZ Series and evolved it into a Trevenant. A Plant-Ghost Pokemon could had balanced his Kalos team 👌🏻 What do you think?
I think it's Grass-type, not Plant-type, but come to think of it, it really _should_ be Plant-type. Half the "Grass-types" out there don't even have anything to do with grass.
He did interact with a Trevanant as well in XYZ too so I say it's pretty good not just because of the balance, but because of his experience with both pokemon
I was thinking that, though I suppose they could of played with the atk /def fighting styles. Would still say it fits Sawyer more though, it fits in with his cautious battle style but can opt out for a more direct approach depending on his strategy.
I think Ash should have a Cubone/Marowak in Kanto. - He would fit well along with Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle. - He could have a cool personality, he'd be the lone wolf of Ash's team. - He is a ground type, which means he'd defeat Ritchie's Charmander and Pikachu in the league.
Even worse, it evolves into a pupitar before getting ignored. Though heck... an in battle pupitar to tyranitar evolution in the anime would be the coolest evolution to date.
I like Ash much better when he has to use a Pokemon with disadvantage against said gym leader. I found it exciting to watch when he comes up with new moves and tactics while only having limited options. So I'm not a fan of the the explanations that Ash should have caught certain Pokemons because it would be good against 3 or 5 gyms in the said region.
Type isn't everything, especially in the Anime. It could be fun to see him go in all confident with a 'Mon that has Type advantage, only for that 'Mon to get KOed right at the start by a coverage move, and then he has to think on the spot.
@@ArthurTRead Yeah, but I didn't mean only go in with one Pokemon, just without a backup plan, and have to fall back on the rest of his Team, with poor types, to win.
PokeMEN, you make a good point of how Ash has been good with fast Pokémon. Examples are Pikachu, Swellow, Sceptile, Infernape, his powerful, unevolved, Buizel, Snivy, Hawlucha, and Greninja
T.M gaming and reviews you are right but I think that ash's rowlet will evolve because there is no other grass type pokemon ash owns that can compete with sceptile , and decidueye is one of the pokemons that can , not to mention his torterra was garbage
I feel like Kanto Ash wasn't strategic and mature enough to bring out a Psychic's real potential. Plus it was the most broken and OP type back then, and Psychic is kinda OP in the anime anyway due to being so versatile, so Kadabra probably would've been even more of a monster than Charizard in certain cases Which could've helped the original series have some better battles and let Ash get further in the League, but it could've also come off as cheap with how Ash barely trained properly in Kanto
6:22) Don't underestimate Ash in type disadvantages. His Grovyle took out Winnona's Altaria pretty easily. Also see his Charizard take on Gary's Golem and Blastoise
This is what Ash's team should be in Alola: Pikachu Incineroar Decidueye Lycanroc Kommo-o and Alolan Sandslash. Edit: Although this team would have a BIG weakness to Ground.
I feel like instead of a sneasle the best dark type for ash would’ve been Absol on his Hoenn team. I feel like it would have been a dark and brooding loner with an attitude while still trying to learn to accept others. And my personal opinion, I LOVED Ash’s Lapras it’s the only Pokémon he shouldn’t have released.
Correction he gets Melmetal as A Steel Type in Alola and Lucario(hatch as Riolu from egg in Pokémon Journeys)and Mimey(Mr. mime) was caught by him to accompany Delia. For Ghost Type he did catch Gengar in Pokémon Journeys. Also Sableeye can Mega Evolve and I definitely agree with the list even with His current Pokémon the least is Steel(Melmetal and Lucario from Journeys), Ice(Glalie and Lapras(if returns), Electric(only Pikachu), Ghost(only Gengar from Journeys) and Psychic&Fairy(Just Mimey)
Abra for his Kanto team Spearow for his Orange Island team Teddiursa for his Johto team Anorith for his Hoenn team Stunky for his Sinnoh team Vanillite for his Unova team Skiddo for his Kalos team Alola Sandshrew for his Alola team
These are all really great ideas. Imagining how they'd all work in his teams both in battles and in personality makes me feel that the anime had sooo many missed opportunities.

Which was the episode where a lot of his older Pokemon made a cameo for the upcoming league. Granted cyndaquil did play a roll in that episode. But other than that the Pokemon mentioned before are the only exceptions
Riolu, Dratini, Espeon and Sylveon would be my choices for Ash I wished he would have gotten during his journey. Plus they keep doing bringing back his old pokemon except in kalos so hopefully we can finally see a return of Pidgeot and Butterfree. don't think they gave Butterfree much time to really grow as a battler in Kanto and he had a lot of potential.
I like how they decided to go into this heavily detailed video bringing to the table the strategic values of each choice when we all know he's just gonna use Pikachu for 50% of everything and about 95% of everything he does will not be based on real strategy at all
It wouldn't matter if the types overlapped other pokemon on the team. Ash doesn't care about that. In gen 6 , he had 3 flying types and 2 dragon types. I personally think alolan marowak would be perfect for ash's team.
Hey Michael, this was a really good video. I don't normally get all that entertained with Top 5s, Top 10s, etc., but I really enjoy some of yours and found this one a solid 11:51 of my time to enjoy something and forget the other distractions and problems I have in the world. I also think you and John really flow well together in these videos
So while you were in school your videos were definitely lowing in quality but I am glad I stuck around because now that you're full time you're back to the reason why I subbed :) keep it up and congrats on going full time :D
@MrFunny At any one time. He could rotate; he had seven Pokemon in Sinnoh (Counting Pikachu), rotated between like a dozen in Unova, and that's not even getting into his thirty Tauros.
I would have REALLY liked to have seen a Phantump on his Kalos Team. Considering that he caught a water-type and a fire-type, I thought having a grass type would have balanced that team greatly. Also, he's never owned a ghost-type, so there's that, too. I remember when I saw a shiny Phantump in the anime and thought, "Oh my GOD! This is going to be the final team member! It would be perfect!" But no... he doesn't bother to catch it and gets his Goodra back for the Kalos League. I get Goodra would have been the better choice considering how late the Phantump would have been added, but it still grinds my gears. He doesn't even get to keep Goodra... or Greninja...
Axiom Omen He resets his team and his Pikachu's level every region, anyway. Know how everybody makes fun of Ash saying his Pikachu lost to Trip's Snivy? Yeah, that's because his level resets every region.
There is a piece of hair on your screen When it evolves into Dartrix we know it's gonna fully evolve. Dartrix is too much of a awkward middle stage Pokemon for him too keep at it.
Well between all of those 4 Pokemon Types Ash doesn't have, Here's a list of Pokemon Ash should have during his Adventures in the region: Ghost: 1: Gengar (if Ash Should kept his Haunter) 2: Mismagius 3:Cofagrigus 4:Chandelure Psychic: 1: Girafarig 2: Gallade 3:Musharna 4:Malamar Steel: 1:Magnezone 2: Skarmoey 3:Aggron 4:Bisharp Fairy: 1:Clefable 2:Granbull 3:Mawile 4:Florges
I feel he should have had a Zorua in his Unova team. It would match the non dark, and I think it really fits his personality. Even more so because he had experience with one in Zoruark master of illusions...... Or it's because I love Zorua. Meh.
He should catch ho-oh cause obviously Arcanine cause I like it Magmortar so we could have seen Paul's electrivire vs Magmortar Gallade because I want to see Gardevoir vs Gallade Ariados cause imagine how well it will do while catching team rocket And deciduye cause I think its the best starter And alolan marowak it's so cool
1: ash doesn't catch legendaries 2: valid opinion 3: that would just block infernape's development and it's sick-ass blaze ability scene 4: valid opinion 2: electric boogaloo 5: i don't know what to say for this one 6: his rowlet never evolved due to it swallowing an everstone 7: blud, ash didn't catch the marowak, but kiawe did
Also, if Ash had a Kadabra, he would have faired better against Sabrina than...what we ended up seeing. Also "Or it was Mewtwo" was probably the best quote of the video.
I mean, in half those instances, he was rescuing/helping those Legendaries fight back _against_ someone trying to capture them, so it'd be kind of a dick move to then turn around and capture them himself. :P
Pokemon ash should catch in the future 1: Alolan Sandshrew 2: Sandazzle 3: Dewpider (later evolve it to araquanid) 4: Trumbeak (evolve into toucannon) 5: Alolan Exeggator
I think Ash should try catching a Grubbin or Jangmo-o for his Alola team. Grubbin would evolve into Vikavolt, a powerful Bug/Electric type Pokémon and could easily work well with Pikachu in a Double Battle and its Levitate Ability would be really handy. Plus, Ash can have another Electric type on hand in case Pikachu isn't around/not feeling well. As for Jangmo-o, a Dragon/Fighting type (once it evolves) would be unique to Alola and give him a lot of firepower. Given all the dangers he faces constantly, he'd need a strong team to save the day. Plus, Jangmo-o could test Ash's patience and character by being a fight-happy Pokémon, having the mentality of 'only the strong survive'. Ash could work to earn Jangmo-o's respect by becoming stronger and more competent while Jangmo-o learns to be more compassionate and empathetic to weaker individuals.
Your choices would've made things too easy for Ash. He would've never had a Sableye in particular. The whole point of the anime is seeing Ash overcome difficult match ups, not have them ridiculously easy.
Well, I have a list of Pokemon Ash I wish he had (most of them he should have gotten, but another character got it instead): Kanto: -Definitely Alakazam Johto: -Agree with you on Sneasel (because I love that Pokemon) -Scizor -Larvitar (the one he raised) -Espeon (I only included it because a lot of people like having Ash with one) Hoenn: -Agree with Sableye -Flygon (a Pokemon more deserving to him instead of Goh) -Mudkip Sinnoh: -Rampardos Unova: -ZOROARK!!!!!! -Gigalith (somehow trade and trade back Boldore) -Frillish (mainly the pink one that was hugging him) Kalos: -Definitely Aegislash -Vivillion (the one he trained and it could be a little callback to Butterfree) -Flobebe (because wynaunt?) -Tyrunt -Litleo (a Pokemon everyone thought he would catch) -Skreip Alola: -Kommo-o -Toucannon -Araquanid -Pheromosa (just because it was amusing and it is a speedy Ultra Beast) -Salazzle (give Ash more female Pokemon. It would be very amusing especially if Bayleef ever returned) -Type: Null (similar to the game, Gladion (or even Lusamine) would give Ash another Type: Null that was in stasis) Galar: -Grookey (hopefully) -Rookiedee -Hattena -Toxtricity -Dreepy ANY FOSSIL POKEMON (I just want my boi to get a fossil Pokemon for himself)
I think the op 5 Pokémon Ash should of Catched for his different regions and Future teams 5, for Alola Piefly or Alolian Sandshrew 4, for Kanto Abra 3, For Johto Snesevel or for Sinnoh Riolu/Lucario because three reason 1, it is Fighting/ Steel type 2, it is a speedy Pokémon and 3, Ash could of master his Aura 2, Sableye or for Unova Lieperd or Stoutand 1, Edgaslash or GoGoat because his team doesn't seem right with out a Grass type.
Honedge/Aegislash wouldn't work for him because Ash doesn't have a tendency to catch inanimate objects. Aside from this, I thought that he should have caught the following Pokemon: Rhyhorn, Absol, Burmy/Mothim, Skorupi, Skrelp, and Dewpider.
Eh the only thing i disagree is that in my opinion the Aegislash fits better as Sawyer's partner since Sceptile is also like a sword-slashing Pokemon and Argislash fits really well with Sawyer's analytical style.
Fantastic video on what pokemon Ash should have caught, or will catch in the future. Question if Ash had caught Sneasel in Johto do you think it would have evolved into Weavile in Sinnoh? What about these 5 pokemon for Ash: 5. Ampharos, 4. Walrein, 3. Golisopod or Kommo-o , 2. Zebstrika, honorable moments Hitmontop, Houndoom, Salamance, Flygon, Grumpig, Hippowdon, Sawsbuck, Pyroar, Meowstic male, GoGoat, Trevenant, and 1. Lucario. I have afew ideas for how Ash could have got Abra, Sneasel, and afew others. I will my idea if anyone wants to show the post.
Ash seriously should've had a Lucario in either Sinnoh or Kalos. It's really stupid that he's never had one when it's a great Steel-type, looks awesome, and isn't used by any other main characters ever. May and Serena had Eevees, but in Kanto, Johto, and Sinnoh, Ash could've had one without any issue. In fact, Ash could've caught an Eevee in Kanto and had it evolve into an Espeon in Johto, to give Ash a Psychic-type, show off one of the new Eeveelutions, and draw a bigger parallel with Gary Oak and his Umbreon.
Lucario due to not only being a duel type, but one of the strongest fighting types that can also learn dragon pulse and generally has high speed and special attack or Garchomp since it is one of the fastest and most powerful dragon types and pairs well with flying types, which he has in every series.
Pokémon for alola: Pikachu Inceniroar Dartrix(not dicdueye because he was still a rowlet when litten evolved into torracat) Lycanroc(Dusk form) Cutiefly(just need a cute Pokémon in ash’s team that is not pikachu) Komo-oo(not sand slasher/sandshrew because that should belong to Lillie because she is an ice type trainer)
Meditite/Medicham are the psychic type that fit Ash better. The Abra line clashes too strongly with its relevance to Sabrina, and his Kanto team was pretty well balanced from a story perspective, especially given Brock and Misty as complements in pokemon utility and personality.
I really wanted Ash to have phantump in kalos because it's the only region currently where he doesn't have a grass type and it would give him that ghost type, besides being the only available grass type that no one else had. But no, Ash heard that dragon was a good type and decided to double down on them without realizing that fairy types had just been discovered
"Ash would probably not get Alakazam because of trade barrier"
*has Alakazam in thumbnail*
They'd do it to avoid the whole Uri Geller bullshit
He could do a tradeback with Brock. Maybe even get Brock's Geodude to Golem if he evolved into a Graveler while he's at it.
Scraggy and Krookodile are dark types and Ash caught them.
Talking gen 1 trade evolution was not a thing yet
TO EVERYONE MENTIONING HAUNTER:
It was never officially caught by Ash; it just followed him and never got caught in a Poké Ball
He still should have kept it. He should have actually put it in a Pokeball and kept it.
he got Gengar now lol
Yeah that’s kind of the issue most fans have.
A Riolu/Lucario. I mean, come on, they could've done so much with the whole Aura thing. Especially in Sinnoh, just after Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
You know what? He should've taken that Riolu that knew Aura Sphere with him! If he did, however, it probably wouldn't have evolved.
Kyle Bryant why wouldn't he evolve? Riolu evolves by happines
Michał Jureńczyk I know but all those 'special' Pokémon never evolve.
Maria Fangirl thats truth
He had two flying types with Staraptor and Gliscor for a while. Its not impossible.
John: What is up g...
Michael: thank you john
He didnt even get to finish his intro
ash should've had a scizor in johto it would've been badass and would've shown of the new steel type
Shawn McMillan but he had a heracross also bug type
Shawn McMillan why do I keep seeing you
Shawn McMillan

I was thinking the exact same thing! It could have even evolved into a Trevanant and acted as the bulk of the team while Goodra was away
You know, I can actually picture Ash having a Sableye.
DarkraiKnight same here
I can picture him having a Sneasel, actually.
Yes, Sneasel would've been a great help for the first gym battle, especially being caught AFTER the battle!
Ash couldn't have an Aegislash becuase Sawyer had one.
Maria Fangirl True but Aegislash fits Sawyer way more then Ash.
GoldCat do you mean way more
I was thinking that, though I suppose they could of played with the atk /def fighting styles.
Would still say it fits Sawyer more though, it fits in with his cautious battle style but can opt out for a more direct approach depending on his strategy.

i agree. kanto marowak matches his personality very well
He should have kept Larvitar...
Totally Totodile Larvitar wanted to go back to it's mother, that'd be fucked up.
Robin I believe he should've caught a RANDOM Lavitar, and gave that one back to his Mother.
Totally Totodile it would be neat if larvitar came back later on (maybe in hoenn or battle frontier) after it grew up a little bit and rejoined him
Even worse, it evolves into a pupitar before getting ignored. Though heck... an in battle pupitar to tyranitar evolution in the anime would be the coolest evolution to date.
Totally Totodile yes

ash should have a toucanon because he always has the regional bird
GoogooEyedChihuahua Stitch Ash had like 3 flying types on his team in X&Y so him catching another flying type wouldn't be to out of the question
GoogooEyedChihuahua Stitch but I think it will evolve into decidueye and even if it doesn't evolve ash also don't care about Pokémon types
Considering Ash history, I have high doubts with his Rowlett evolving into Decidueye.
rowlet isnt even interested in battling to be fair

Pikachu

Lycanroc
Kommo-o
and Alolan Sandslash.
Edit: Although this team would have a BIG weakness to Ground.
Fire Dragon King so his kalos team had a HUGE weakness to ice and thunder
Which lycanroc.Midday form or midnight form
Bonnie Andrews probably miday because Gladion has midnight
i don't see him getting kommo-o tbh, maybe Drampa. That would be cool
He could always catch a Dewpider and evolve it to Araquanid. Coverage for Ground.
Ash will not get a comfey because it is the assistant of nurse joy
Ur right
Brock was given one by Nurse Joy
I feel like instead of a sneasle the best dark type for ash would’ve been Absol on his Hoenn team. I feel like it would have been a dark and brooding loner with an attitude while still trying to learn to accept others.
And my personal opinion, I LOVED Ash’s Lapras it’s the only Pokémon he shouldn’t have released.
Psychic:
- girafarig (johto)
- spoink (hoenn)
Steel:
- Aron (hoenn)
- Escavalier (unova)
Others:
- machop-machamp (kanto/orange islands/johto)
- numel (hoenn)
- feebas-milotic (hoenn/sinnoh)
- trapinch-flygon (hoenn)
- swablu-altaria (hoenn/sinnoh)
- snover-abomansnow (sinnoh)
- hipopotas-hippowdon
THERE SHOULD BE ONLY ONE N IN ABOMASNOW! AND THERE SHOULD BE 3 P'S IN HIPPOPOTAS!
Well it looks like Ash will finally have a ghost type (partly at the very least) when his Rowlet evolves to its final stage :)
Ryan Duquette Spoilers it probably won't
If only it had...
Well at least we have gengar
I loved Ash’s Rowlet and I’m actually glad it didn’t evolve.
Well, about that...
Ash shouold have caught Shiny Phantump, dude just let it leave.
Yeah because i was hoping for him to catch that shiny Phantump since the pattern in the was to catch 3 starter and non starter types in every region.
courage1 WUT
I have
Drum roll please.....
3 shinys to my name
"well hello guys!...""thank you john😂😂😂😂
The Pokemon he should definitely get in the future are: Sandslash, Alakazam, Salamence, Flygon, Dragalge, Abomasnow, Hippowdon, Lucario, Rampardos, Rhyperior, Carracosta, Ferrothorn, Bisharp, Trevenant, Avalugg, Golisopod, Exploud, Pyroar, Sableye, Gengar & Tyranitar
Ash's second rival already has a honedge in kalos
0:33
my name, is Astroid! And welcome BACK! To the next episode of our Pokemon Y Egglocke!
Now ash own all 4 of that type:
Steel: Melmetal
Ghost: Gengar
Fairy-Psychic: Mr. Mime
Yes you're right
Correction he gets Melmetal as A Steel Type in Alola and Lucario(hatch as Riolu from egg in Pokémon Journeys)and Mimey(Mr. mime) was caught by him to accompany Delia. For Ghost Type he did catch Gengar in Pokémon Journeys. Also Sableeye can Mega Evolve and I definitely agree with the list even with
His current Pokémon the least is Steel(Melmetal and Lucario from Journeys), Ice(Glalie and Lapras(if returns), Electric(only Pikachu), Ghost(only Gengar from Journeys) and Psychic&Fairy(Just Mimey)
I don't think he should have had Honedge, because a pretty big character had Honedge-Aegislash
yeah i was about to type that.
Abra for his Kanto team
Spearow for his Orange Island team
Teddiursa for his Johto team
Anorith for his Hoenn team
Stunky for his Sinnoh team
Vanillite for his Unova team
Skiddo for his Kalos team
Alola Sandshrew for his Alola team
Unova team Vanillite and Electross
Another good pokemon for ash in Alola would be salazzel
Grudgemaster III that would be nice but A= he already has a fire type and b= (My opinion) I think that Kiawe should catch one.
nah, let Kiawe catch a male one xD
Let him catch a shiny male one
What about cosmog
No he shouldn't because the team skull grunts already have a salandit and plumeria will most likely have a salazzle
I love Sableye, it's so cute! Plus, I did wish that Ash caught that Sableye in that one episode (Which I've never seen :( )
2:25 he has also never CAUGHT an electric type.
Bulbasaur - Pokemon and Vlogs! Pikachu
He has owned one but Pikachu was given to him. Never has he actually caught one.
SqltyChicken ash didnt CAUGHT pikachu he recived him from Prof Oak
SqltyChicken pikachu was never caught,it was given
Technically he has a point. Pikachu was literally hand given to him by Professor Oak as his starter.
These are all really great ideas. Imagining how they'd all work in his teams both in battles and in personality makes me feel that the anime had sooo many missed opportunities.
Nice video as always Michael, and I wanted to ask how you got the randomized rom hack so I can play it, thanks for your time
ItalianzPlay2 There's a program called "randomizer" . Just type it into Google and download it. It also makes copies of a rom you randomize.
Radical One ok I'll try that out thanks
Radical One on laptop or can I do it on my phone?
ItalianzPlay2 Laptop yes, I'm not sure for the phone. Maybe it can? Try searching.
Radical One ok, thank you so much!
It's understandable that you didn't know that he had it,but Ash also caught a Mr.Mime nicknamed Mimey
Lol the title should be "Type of Pokemon Ash did not own"...
Paul had a Weavile if I'm not mistaken, at least at one point. This would explain why Ash never got a Sneasel.
Harrison from Littleroot Town caught a Sneazel in Johto

It's a good list. But I don't see ash not having a certain Pokémon because he has another of the same type. Throughout the generations we have seen him do that a lot of times
Ash should have got a Murkrow in johto, but not use it, then when he is in sinnoh he should have used it instead of starly, and later on he could have evolved it into honchkrow which I think would have benefited ash in sinnoh. I know paul had one but I think that ash could have got it and paul could have had a staraptor. This is because it would have been good against gardenia, maylene (since flying resists fighting), fantina, and byron because he had a bronzor.
steel resisted dark in gen 4 so murkrow would be neutral. also Ash really never brings any of his other Pokemon from a previous gen unless he was up against the league. with exception of charizard and aipom. Not only that but honchcrow fits with Paul way more for his personality.
I J Stinson he brought cyndaquil, squirtle and bulbasaur with him
Cyndaquil was for the sinnoh league like what was mentioned before. As for his kanto starters I forgot about them
I J Stinson he used cyndaquil iin sinnoh when he evolved it into quillava
Which was the episode where a lot of his older Pokemon made a cameo for the upcoming league. Granted cyndaquil did play a roll in that episode. But other than that the Pokemon mentioned before are the only exceptions
Riolu, Dratini, Espeon and Sylveon would be my choices for Ash I wished he would have gotten during his journey. Plus they keep doing bringing back his old pokemon except in kalos so hopefully we can finally see a return of Pidgeot and Butterfree. don't think they gave Butterfree much time to really grow as a battler in Kanto and he had a lot of potential.

but, I see like a thousands of comments. ._.
no it's 56
Brandon Mai
Im his name it was 25 you idiot
I like how they decided to go into this heavily detailed video bringing to the table the strategic values of each choice when we all know he's just gonna use Pikachu for 50% of everything and about 95% of everything he does will not be based on real strategy at all
if steel type was not introduced then what was the type of Magnemite in gen one??
Phantom Channel just electric
Phantom Channel gen 1 - pure electric. Gen 2+ - electric steel
Phantom Channel He was just consider an electric type
Phantom Channel It was just electric
+Coach Feratu that's a joke right??
It wouldn't matter if the types overlapped other pokemon on the team. Ash doesn't care about that. In gen 6 , he had 3 flying types and 2 dragon types. I personally think alolan marowak would be perfect for ash's team.
Well Alolan Marowak already went to Kiawe
Doesn't ash have a rowlet and isn't rowlet's final evolution is a grass and ghost
He never evolved it...
Rowlet accidentally ate an everstone so it didn't evolve
Rowlet is Considered the Regional Bird in Alola since it is a Starter
Hey Michael, this was a really good video. I don't normally get all that entertained with Top 5s, Top 10s, etc., but I really enjoy some of yours and found this one a solid 11:51 of my time to enjoy something and forget the other distractions and problems I have in the world. I also think you and John really flow well together in these videos
I hope Ash gets an Alolan Diglett, haha, I would love to see your reaction, Michael.
What's Their Name Again? How about no.
He tried to Catch Alolan Geodude but failed
So while you were in school your videos were definitely lowing in quality but I am glad I stuck around because now that you're full time you're back to the reason why I subbed :) keep it up and congrats on going full time :D
EVERY SINGLE LEGEND!
Well......anime logic is a lot more complicated than the games.
Apparently having so many powerful legends would tear the universe apart
Waffle
@MrFunny At any one time. He could rotate; he had seven Pokemon in Sinnoh (Counting Pikachu), rotated between like a dozen in Unova, and that's not even getting into his thirty Tauros.
plusul and mineul because that are cute!!
6th and NOICE btw I liked before watching XD
I think has should have had a honchkrow. I say this because I’m biased.
Just saying Sawyer in Kalos has a honedge
Yeah, that's because his level resets every region.
wait rowlets last form is decidueye and he's a ghost type so technically he has a ghost type
Collyn malone it doesn't work like that unless rowlet fully evolves then it's not a ghost type
TheTyphlosionExplosion I'm just saying that he technically will have a ghost type
Collyn malone what if it doesn't fully evolve?
Collyn malone we arent sure yet if rowlet will evolve, but I really hope it will tho
There is a piece of hair on your screen When it evolves into Dartrix we know it's gonna fully evolve. Dartrix is too much of a awkward middle stage Pokemon for him too keep at it.
Well between all of those 4 Pokemon Types Ash doesn't have, Here's a list of Pokemon Ash should have during his Adventures in the region:
Ghost:
1: Gengar (if Ash Should kept his Haunter)
2: Mismagius
3:Cofagrigus
4:Chandelure
Psychic:
1: Girafarig
2: Gallade
3:Musharna
4:Malamar
Steel:
1:Magnezone
2: Skarmoey
3:Aggron
4:Bisharp
Fairy:
1:Clefable
2:Granbull
3:Mawile
4:Florges
he should have caught a torchic
Torchic can't be caught in the wild.
Then again, he did catch a wild Bulbasaur and Squirtle in Kanto
He also caught a snivy and tepig in unova
True.
And in hoeen his fire type pokemon torkoal sucked
Ferrelectric ...They were all previously owned by trainers that abandoned them...They were never WILD.
ASH SHOULD CATCH GRUBBIN!!!
i don't care about the typing Vikavolt is badass
I always thought it was weird that Ash's Noctowl looked different from in the games, but I only just realised today that it was because it was shiny.
I feel he should have had a Zorua in his Unova team. It would match the non dark, and I think it really fits his personality. Even more so because he had experience with one in Zoruark master of illusions......
Or it's because I love Zorua. Meh.
I was so mad when Ash didn't catch that Sableye from the Genesect movie.
Ash's description:can make friends with legendary pokemon but does not catch -it- *_THEM_*
Wow i'm really early..... I think ash should have a toxapex on his alola team
Denise Cusack team rocket has one
Denise Cusack James already has one in the anime and Ash rarely, if ever, catches pokemon someone else in the anime has
ok
He should catch ho-oh cause obviously
Arcanine cause I like it
Magmortar so we could have seen Paul's electrivire vs Magmortar
Gallade because I want to see Gardevoir vs Gallade
Ariados cause imagine how well it will do while catching team rocket
And deciduye cause I think its the best starter
And alolan marowak it's so cool
1: ash doesn't catch legendaries
2: valid opinion
3: that would just block infernape's development and it's sick-ass blaze ability scene
4: valid opinion 2: electric boogaloo
5: i don't know what to say for this one
6: his rowlet never evolved due to it swallowing an everstone
7: blud, ash didn't catch the marowak, but kiawe did
ash would have easily won the league if he had these Pokemon
Also, if Ash had a Kadabra, he would have faired better against Sabrina than...what we ended up seeing.
Also "Or it was Mewtwo" was probably the best quote of the video.
also all the legendaries he's seen and ignored 😑
I mean, in half those instances, he was rescuing/helping those Legendaries fight back _against_ someone trying to capture them, so it'd be kind of a dick move to then turn around and capture them himself. :P
Try Florges, or at least a Flabébé or Kalos team. It would've eventually worked its way to final evolution form.
I would enter the switch giveaway, but today I got one.
Sneasel was a missed opportunity. Just like Phantump last series.
didn't ash have a haunter?
soulless Assassin never really caught it
He never caught it
I remember being so disappointed as a kid that Sabrina caught the Haunter and not Ash :/
Can you show us the emulator you use and how to make the randomizer?
Pokemon ash should catch in the future
1: Alolan Sandshrew
2: Sandazzle
3: Dewpider (later evolve it to araquanid)
4: Trumbeak (evolve into toucannon)
5: Alolan Exeggator
Lucario

I'd love to see Ash rocking a Skarmory for sure. He has a lot of experience with flying types and it doesn't even need to evolve ;)
Skarmony to me Sucks it would easily lose to Fire Types.
Your choices would've made things too easy for Ash. He would've never had a Sableye in particular. The whole point of the anime is seeing Ash overcome difficult match ups, not have them ridiculously easy.
In Pokemon Sun and Moon, Ash catches a Rowlet. If it evolves all the way, it will become a Grass and Ghost type
Well, I have a list of Pokemon Ash I wish he had (most of them he should have gotten, but another character got it instead):
Kanto:
-Definitely Alakazam
Johto:
-Agree with you on Sneasel (because I love that Pokemon)
-Scizor
-Larvitar (the one he raised)
-Espeon (I only included it because a lot of people like having Ash with one)
Hoenn:
-Agree with Sableye
-Flygon (a Pokemon more deserving to him instead of Goh)
-Mudkip
Sinnoh:
-Rampardos
Unova:
-ZOROARK!!!!!!
-Gigalith (somehow trade and trade back Boldore)
-Frillish (mainly the pink one that was hugging him)
Kalos:
-Definitely Aegislash
-Vivillion (the one he trained and it could be a little callback to Butterfree)
-Flobebe (because wynaunt?)
-Tyrunt
-Litleo (a Pokemon everyone thought he would catch)
-Skreip
Alola:
-Kommo-o
-Toucannon
-Araquanid
-Pheromosa (just because it was amusing and it is a speedy Ultra Beast)
-Salazzle (give Ash more female Pokemon. It would be very amusing especially if Bayleef ever returned)
-Type: Null (similar to the game, Gladion (or even Lusamine) would give Ash another Type: Null that was in stasis)
Galar:
-Grookey (hopefully)
-Rookiedee
-Hattena
-Toxtricity
-Dreepy
ANY FOSSIL POKEMON (I just want my boi to get a fossil Pokemon for himself)
I love your content micheal!! Keep it up!!
8:47 Snowy
Also Ash temporarily had Snowy
Eh the only thing i disagree is that in my opinion the Aegislash fits better as Sawyer's partner since Sceptile is also like a sword-slashing Pokemon and Argislash fits really well with Sawyer's analytical style.
Did they forget to consider triage here? It wouldn't make Comfey overtake Ribombee but it's still worth mentioning
You should do a "Top five Ash's pokemon that should have evolved" video
Pokémon for alola:
Pikachu
Inceniroar
Dartrix(not dicdueye because he was still a rowlet when litten evolved into torracat)
Lycanroc(Dusk form)
Cutiefly(just need a cute Pokémon in ash’s team that is not pikachu)
Komo-oo(not sand slasher/sandshrew because that should belong to Lillie because she is an ice type trainer)
Meditite/Medicham are the psychic type that fit Ash better. The Abra line clashes too strongly with its relevance to Sabrina, and his Kanto team was pretty well balanced from a story perspective, especially given Brock and Misty as complements in pokemon utility and personality.
Josh: What is up guys, its-
Michael: Thank you, John.
(Hello Darkness My Old Friend......)
Sableye would be a better replacement to replace Torkoal since it wasn't useful in battle as much
