- 2017 Ram 1500 3.6L coolant temperature sensor replacement .Sensor is located behind front left tire and plastics .I was able to use a 19mm socket wrench to remove, you might be able to use a pair of pliers to get it out depending how tight it is on .quick fix and very inexpensive.

Ok makes sense now. I have a 5.7 and mine was up front, pass side, next to the thermostat and hose. No wonder I was a bit lost. Thanks for the video brother. Pita for the V6 I reckon
So was that the oil temp sensor or coolant sensor? Ya lost me 🤔. Also, what engine do you have? Mines the 5.7
It’s a coolant temp sensor that is on the driver side behind the tire & the oil sensor is on the oil hosing on top of the engine .my engine is a 3.6L
The oil temp sensor is a betch to get to but if you need to change your oil filter housing it’ll come with a brand new sensor on the entire part I had to do it when I got my truck and it was overheating

There are two sensors or one? Bcuz I have a 5.7 and my sensor is on top next to thermostat hose
