They're a great bit of kit, if expensive. We used them for prep/sanding work, and had some of the hard hoods for grinding as they have an impact resistant lens. There's also a little back pack type thing available which some found more comfortable than the belt
Used this sort of powerpack system for years when I was working using thermic lances, powder cutting, and asbestos removal. You can get much smaller pack with carbon filters that hold an 8-hour charge. But all in all, a great system for your line of work mate. Oh yeah nice little presentation.

That looks a nice bit of kit Rob it doesn't look as heavy as I thought it would be considering the size of the backpack, I do like 3M stuff as it's really good quality. I use an airfed in my little booth I fitted a dropout filter then a 3 stage and got a Sundstrom mask which is really nice and helps to keep you cool when it's hot. Great review mate👌👍
