You guys have helped me catch so many fish!!! No matter the conditions, no matter the water, I feel confident I can catch fish. Thank you guys!!!! Every video is so in depth and detailed. By far the best fishing channel. Even all the way back years ago you guys have always been the same. I love it. It does not get better than that. You guys rock!!!!
I like that they don’t need gimmicks or clickbait and I love that they don’t act like d*****bags like every other big name fishing channel. They’re legit. 👊🤨🎣
Just like you said in a previous video, “bass are predictable.” Gotta love those shadows. Junk fishing can still be fun. The strike from deep to the shallow on your port side earlier was proof that fish look up. Thank you again.
Always fun hooking into a drum while bass fishing. Those things are brutes. Here in Texas, there are a number of freshwater lakes with Redfish in them. I was throwing a finesse rig one day and hooked into a 28" redfish. Talk about exciting!
Caught a good amount of fish today in Massachusetts mid day flipping docks pulled out a nice 4lber and it was 80 out today I love it less fishing pressure
Chick's my home lake...great to see you fishing it. It's cool to see you holding the bass more vertically; I think there's a lot of proof coming through that using their mouth to hold them almost horizontal can break their jaws and lead to higher mortality rates. We want to keep catching these beauties!
In south Louisiana In the middle of the day the feel like Temps right now are 105+ degrees. I'll just skip that part of the day. The humidity is just crazy. Great video as always brother. 👍
@@legionssb My glasses keep steaming up- it's because of all the rain we've gotten this year- record amounts. Generally by July we're dry as a bone and scorching hot- but not this year. this year were scorching hot and soaking wet- hasn't gone more than 3 days without raining here since Dec. of last year.
@@stoneysdead689 hah! We’re getting wayyyy less rain than we usually do, usually it rains abt once a week in the summer, it’s only rained a couple of times. Still humid as hell though, my glasses were fogging up a couple of days ago
Nice job showing how you can still catch fish in the heat! I've been guilty myself of skipping a day of fishing because it feels like an impossible mission to get bit in 90 degrees, but this does give me some more confidence! Keep up the good work.
Well done matt 5 years with tactical now, always look forward to your and Tim's instructions and teaching, keep up the good work, send water back to Northern California, please
Awesome video dude. I always learn from every single one of your videos. So informative. Took plenty of notes as I head back up to Michigan this week for a 3 week Army Trip!!
Caught my first bass in my local lake today!! Watched hours of your vids to figure out the right gear, and what to look for when bass fishing! She was 4 pounds! Biggest one I’ve ever seen. If a 4 pounder can give me the shakes I couldn’t imagine what a 10 pounder would look like
Thanks guys. If you haven’t already, I’d like to see details about ledge fishing, in general. I’ve never tried it, but you could do a great job teaching this I’m sure. Diagrams would be nice too!!
The 2.8 Kietech on an underspin always produces for me. Any season, any time. It catches it's fair share of dinks and panfish but I've also caught my fair share of quality bass as well. Let it sink with a slow retrieve.
Love how 90 degrees is hot there. Az is at 108-118 65% humidity for weeks. Water temps on finder are 93degrees. Probably why I catch on drop shot in 35ft depths. Crazy deep and takes forever to bring up with needing to fizz them.
Nice one dude. Im traveling around on Vacation and then a work Trip to Michigan for the US Army .I am gonna have to wait till I get back to Kentucky to drop a order next month
my nephew is always telling me "you gotta wake up early to fish uncle, you wont catch fish its too late" you guys make me want to buy a boat to fish ugh
Have you guys done a video on how you’re liking Tennessee yet? Or a video where you comment on the move and the change etc? I live in central California and am moving to Tennessee next year. Would love to hear your guys story.
That nasty bluecat is my favorite fish to eat. He’d have gone in my live well. I like blues even better than crappie. When I’m fishing for food I’m after blues.
@@smashdtrash3432 I have never had a very good salmon. Not saying they’re bad but they’re way down on my list. Maybe it’s the ways I’ve had it cooked and smoked. I do like trout. I want to try walleye and yellow perch. Everyone up north says their delicious. I don’t care for tilapia, sandbass, wipers or stripers. They’re edible but not at all my favorite. Especially tilapia. A freshwater drum taste better than all those and most people don’t realize they taste better. They need to be on the smaller side to be good. They taste similar to crappie if they’re the same size. I’m southern and my favorites are blues, flathead, bluegill, crappie and channelcat in that order best to least favorite.

Right LoL 😂 I just caught a nice Fenwick rod and pfluger real with a 5 lb Northern attached to it I'm sure when it pulled it out of the boat they figured it was a 20 lb monster ! So hey a 5 pounder can pull your whole rod and reel out of your boat Lol 🙂
Guys, I never thought I would say this...you have corrupted me. I just bought my first NRX+, should be here tomorrow. Never thought I'd spend that much on a rod...now I'm looking at 2 more.
That was awesome video today. Interesting day for you. I do have to ask though. If I am a bank fisherman, which I do a majority of, do I stand a chance at the mid day same weather conditions as you? What would you recommend for bait or would it be similar to what you were throwing? Again always fun watching your videos and thanks for all the work you and Tim put into this.
You could hit the same shadows around the shore line he was hitting, with the same bait- if you could find some public land to fish off of- or some private land you can get permission to fish from. The issue with the TVA lakes is that they're all surrounded by private property, very difficult to find a bank fishing spot that's worth anything because any of them that are open to the public are just covered up, all the time- even at night.
When I'm on the bank mid-day on a hot day, I punch vegetation mats if the lake has them. The bass get under those mats in those conditions. I also look for the thickest wood cover that I can access from the bank and flip or pitch various soft plastics in to it.
Those electronics make a world of difference- they make fishing so much easier. Here's a phrase you hear quiet often "let the fish tell you..." - well when you don't have electronics that gets real tricky. If you're not getting bit- are the fish "telling" you something or- are the fish just not around? You'll never know. Another game changer- the range he has, look how much water he's covered- try that in a kayak, with nothing but a paddle. It's a good paddle- one of the best, but it's still just a paddle- and you aint covering no where near this much water using it. You also aren't gonna be able to hold yourself steady somewhere off shore to fish- not happening. The trolling motor it would take to make that happen costs close to ten times what my kayak costed- before i would buy it, I would buy a better boat.
Matt can you guys make a video that concentrates or should I say,the main topic is to learn how to read the contour lines of a map then applying them to your fishing ? Whether it's 100' deep or in the deer woods,,the contour of your terrain dictates how your quarry travels...
