That catch to release sequence from 3:50-3:57 was the definition of “flow”. Not many athletes have this ability. Purely in the moment.

I t frees up any tangles u may have in the spool after making a long cast especially when u make a long cast and hit the brakes quickly and when u do it more than once it’s just a nervous tick or unnecessary habit. I’ve done the same thing my whole life

Do you throw the DT series because they're more subtle than like a strike king XD.. not saying there's anything wrong with strike King, but I feel like no matter what lake you're on, you always throw the DT series.. is it because of fishing pressure and they're a lot more subtle than those other loud brands? 🤔

another one of these guys who think that when they are on the lake then all locals should just give the lake to them . remember jacob you were a local at one time . if im fishing when they are there ,i will try to be as nice as i can ,and most of you guys are too, but im not going to be intimadated to leave a spot that you want to fish at.sry. that being said im a big fan of yours and the chic and watts bar are my home lakes
That’s completely your choice. I just personally won’t be out there trying to fish when I know an event is happening. If I’m out on a lake and someone has even have a club tournament I will try my best to go to another lake. I just think we all have to have respect for each other. A lot of anglers do but unfortunately a few bad eggs make it tough to trust anyone. This is the way we make our living and a guy sitting on one spot during the championship round can cost an angler a win or a high finish when that guy has nothing he is fishing for other than just for fun. We just need to do better to be considerate of a each other thats all.

Catch,weigh, and release to help cut down on mortality but bouncing small bass off hard dry carpet is only a two minute penalty.
Make the anglers grab them and let them use a net.

At least MLF panelizes them for touching the deck. They rarely hit the deck in the MLF. You’ll really be upset if you watch the other leagues.

There are videos out there of anglers getting three or four penalties in one period.
Not upset at all.
Just don’t like goofy rules.
Like having to hit your golf ball out of a divot in the middle of the fairway.
The five fish format makes Mlf suck just like all the other organizations
