Glad to see the new bike videos.
I love these adventures. Exhaust sounds assertive but not obnoxious, well done :D
Ordered a black widow full exhaust for the drz400 the hexagonal shaped brushed aluminum. Talk about a really tuned sound. With the baffle in it's about the same as stock maybe quieter. Baffle out sounds like beast. It's so unique really helped top off the big bore cams and fcr39. Plus the British quality is perfect. Really should look into it. 276 shipped made it in 5 days from UK to Florida. Way better sounding then the Yoshimuri and delkivic. Bet you would love it
She sure is a runner now!
Hey cheese, Christopher here, got about 1100 miles on my tbr7 now. Your vids back then helped narrow it down to that model, I got the White one, purrs like a kitten. Little big and heavy for me, does what I ask.usual mods, jetting, sprokets, NGK, fluid change. Put knobby on, front no real help in sand,
Shinko next. Anyway NEVER selling. Thanks for pointing me to it
Christopher
Awesome, thanks! Sand is tough, you want low air pressure and wide as possible,
I've found it's best to keep your weight as far back as possible
Legit series
@MotoCheez sweet! I miss my 2019 CSC TT250. It was such a basic and easy bike, didn't perform great, but it always worked. I love the fun bike swap and mod content. Still using my 1+ year old 1st comment Motocheez key tag on my Burgman 650.
I just got the xpro actual 249cc overhead cam model engine. Also Harness and all the goodies to install. Its going in a 1990 YZ125 so all the motor mounts will be custom. I figured start with a real dirt bike suspension to get a real dirt bike lol. I happened to have a rolling chassis just kicking around so off we go!
Sorry it was $500 something shipped with the Shift lever, Kickstart lever, CDI, sprocket cover, gaskets, Real nice looking everything honestly way better than my TBR7 engine. Way bigger looking too even though its the same mounting points. Then I spent $35 on a harness to match @@MotoCheez
Is it the CT style engine? Like what came on the Apollo? Or 6 speed version
@@MotoCheez Its the CB250F Cam gear driven I think, maybe not overhead. I just know its 14HP 18 torque out of the box
I am one of those Matt’s!
I got a yellow keychain.
My idle was creeping up a lot, ended up using LocTite on the screw
I had to cut the idle screw super short to fit, couldn't use spring. I have a kipa carb on the way
@@MotoCheez yep, I’ve been following in your footsteps for this project lol, I think I left my idle screw a little long so it was touching the frame and vibrating up.
😍😍
I just bought one of these and I can’t tell if your display is higher than mine but if there is a way to raise it I would like to know, please? Thanks
Don't quit your day job for a welding career. Cool tone the tip made for exhaust! Some off-roading would have been helpful checking out the front sprocket change. Interesting!
Video I'm uploading today has offrioading , the condor did excellent! Better then whitey!
Haha. I can actually weld real good when I want to, I don't want to waste a lot of time on this muffler because I'm going to change it soon.
@@MotoCheez Oh, Im worse than u welding! My sinuses, my eyes can't take it! Maybe my skin reacts as well.
@@MotoCheez The exhaust tip is cool. I have considered a muffler from a larger engine bike for the deeper/throatier tone. too bad Flowmaster isn't around, eh?
When people go up on sprocket size it actually decreases speed.
Bigger front sprocket increases top end speed, bigger rear sprock it decreases top speed
@@MotoCheez Not sure most bicycles are going with a mid range or smaller sprocket as upfront sprocket, adding larger ones at rear on the cassette. I wouldn't think a motorcycle be that much different in drive train. Other than the power is one is human other is petro. I have been clocked on my bicycle doing over 50 mph.
It is the same as a bicycle, that's why the very small sprocket on the front pedal gives you that super low gear with more power, and then when you go up to the largest it gives you the highest speed if you have the power to pedal it. In the rear on the tire it's reversed. So they are the same
Faster than Whitey?
@@MotoCheez and if you ever decide to plop on the 4v head and 212 jug and piston onto whitey... Game over man, game over!
A tuned zs212 4v is easy 24-28hp.
I believe it! They have kits for these CG250s, cam and head work and get 22hp on dyno
Hmmmm, yeah, north of 300cc's is getting into 'more horsepower than sense' territory.
Don't wanna go there...that's 'Mr. Darwin grins at you' time.
