Volkswagen is a parent company in German .. agar Polo itni logo ko pasand hai there are many reason behind it... and talking about skoda rapid do u know the major issue faced by rapid by 80% customers is its 1) loud engine noise after 3000 RPM 2) Suspension bakwas hai 3) service problems ( services are not good ) isliye inki sales bhi kam hai... jara correct information provide kia kar..

Old cars should be discontinued but the irony is that some of these old cars are much safer than the most selling car in their segment ( eg.- Polo vs Baleno). And S-Presso is a nice joke.

Tata bought Nano with the same ideology of zero crash safety. Even Tata never dared to bring low cost car as they are more interested in premium cars which gives good profit to dealers. So now poor people have only option as Maruti.

Though our first and foremost priority should be to give preference to swadeshi brands only. But we should give preference to the foreign car manufacturers who are manufacturing in India. See majority of my career I have worked for foreign MNCs which provided me employment and other benefits likewise there are many Bharatvasis who are earning their bread and butter from these foreign car company's Plants here in India. Eg Ford, Hyundai

And when I see the 2022 Kia carnival model outside of India, I can realize your point much more. The 2022 model looks stunning. And we do not even know if that will even be launched in India

I always watch your videos. you’re doing really good job keep it up. You are absolutely right. I have been living in Australia for 13 years and traveled to America Canada Europe New Zealand and many Asian countries I have noticed that compared to international market, India has been used as a dumping ground for older models and the worst part is that these companies charge more money for the same model in India for example if a car cost $20,000 in Australia same car in older model will cost $24-$28,000 in India with least safety or engine spec. I am with you.

Loved the point about Carnival and Duster. I own a Duster 2015 all wheel drive. Seriously that vehicle is a class apart, now in 2020 my family was looking forward to retire the car, we started looking for new options available. Was quite surprised to see Duster not updating itself to parallel levels with it's rivals. This is surely injustice to the vehicle.

Agreed. Duster was murdered by its discontinuation. It was a piece of beauty but it was beaten apart by the name of higher car brands. Planning to buy underrated and unique cars like nissan magnite etc..

Bro I recently test drive a S-presso and it’s drive and handling quality is a really bad so you should involve s-presso here instead of alto because company says it’s a mini SUV but it’s not at all. And another thing is that Maruti is not giving you any accessories with even top model. If anyone spent 5 lakhs for top model with not getting any accessories. It’s a really really bad deal.

I agree with all the points except Polo. I understand what is being offered currently is not the same model offered in UK. however i think you may have skipped that we were in fact offered the hot hatch that was being sold in UK. It was called Polo GTI. It was truly a hot hatch. I drove it and it was absolutely worth its Rs.30 Lakh price tag. I only wish i had that kind of money, i would buy it in a blink of an eye. Two door True hot hatch. India as a market did not appreciate the car and hence they kept the sales limited to 100 CBU units only.
If we compare the cars being sold in the UK to what we get here, I would urge you to make a comparison on all hatchbacks from maruti as well. Namely celerio swift etc. The models being sold there are very contrasting to what we are being sold here in india. Only if we as consumers start to appreciate the value of product in quality rather than "kitna deti hai" and "chalta hai" evaluations, we would get truly good cars.

Car makers needs to realise India is not an underrated market anymore.
India is unfortunately considered and likewise treated as a second market by world. India despite of it's decent sale does not have even engine options as you get in every country. All scrap engines are sold in India

The only one i don't really agree with is the Carnival. You mentioned that Kia brought the new Carnival globally within 6 months of the Indian launch. This isn't actually the case as Kia has just revealed the exterior design only. The interiors are still now shown and the full reveal is still many months away. Now the launch of the new model will take place again many months after the full reveal. So we're talking about the new model's launch date somewhere towards mid 2021, that too in South Korea probably. The global launch would be probably in the end of 2021 or early 2022 and the indian launch maybe 2-3 months later. So all in all, we're looking at about 2 years until the new model launches here. Thus i don't feel that the Indian version is very outdated and that Kia is undervaluing the Indian market. There is still a lot of time for the current model to prove its worth. ✌🏻

@Prashant M I have seen that video and i do not think that it represents the Carnival's poor build quality. In fact i think it did just as expected from any vehicle. If you look up similar impacts for other vehicles, you'll see that they don't do any better, even the crysta for that matter. The impact is no where close to how it would've been if it was a maruti suzuki car (just to give a reference). I understand why you and many others feel this way, because when we watched the video, we feel that so much damage shouldn't have happpened, but in reality any vehicle would've had the same outcome. So, i have no issues with the build quality and definitely wouldn't call it cheap. These are just my thoughts. 👍🏻

Well..for the time being i am buying sc ivt verna...by first quarter 2021 if this covid stuff improves, i am expecting tuscon and elantra launch..
And i was getting this elantra s 2019 model at the onroad price of verna SX O....but then features wise as well..S variant turned to be inferior...and only more space wasn't justifying the purchase...

The Polo 1.0 TSI is still the best performance hatch in the country. I agree the 6th Gen model needs to come to India but it's still the best driver's hatch here. Even in a drag race, the new City and the Verna Turbo can't keep up in outright performance.
