True, but most used cars come with undisclosed problems no matter how much you check service history, that is the primary reason why people go with new cars in the first place, if this gets sorted then used market cars can be resued without much hassle.

Ive recently bought Honda Amaze CVT. Its an excellent car with great comfort and peaceful driving experience. Engine is super silent and nice performance delivering a great mileage also. City 13-14 and highway 18.5-19.7 kmpl. Spacious interior and great quality seating. Its a reliable car for long term ownership. Honda is great. It offers what is needed not unnecessary features not going to be used but pay now.
@@sairam6445 i bought new model. Very happy with the performance. Seating is very comfortable for long journey. Smooth driving. Good sound system, projector headlight. Paddle shifters are excellent for race. Feeling of driving manual car. Big boot space enough for 4-5 people's luggage. Best is u can see the full bonnet from driver seat. Excellent control at high speed on highways. Less body roll at turning even at high speed. 1k rpm speed 60 kmph engine is almost silent. Pls try to maintain 1-1.5 rpm u will also get 80 kpmh with greater mileage. No complain from my end. But u should go for test drive before decide. All the best.
Good thing with Honda cars like city their owners are very high class and professionals who drive their car sedately and maintaining it properly in addition with Honda's bullet proof reliability Thus quite a sensible pick in used car market
My friend's 2016 Honda City VX 1.5 i-DTEC (diesel) with a 6 speed manual gearbox clocked over 2,40,000km on the odometer till date, didn't even maintain it time to time (even now it did double the recommended km's on a single service), been in 2 major accidents, one on front and one on rear. It still performs like a champ and returns around 22 kmpl combined with the AC on! Yes it's a little loud due to the aluminium engine block and not as powerful as compared to other diesel engines for example the Hyundai 1.6 CRDi, but it is very reliable and hasn't met with any issues even after travelling for over 2,40,000 km's without being maintained properly. Kudos to Honda for making such a reliable diesel engine without much experience in diesel technology. I myself have a 2016 City VX with 1.5 i-VTEC paired with a CVT gearbox and clocked 40,000 km's so far and it's a charm! Very comfortable and decently efficient too, I get around 8 kmpl as I drive a little enthusiastically. Most of my relatives have a City with a CVT too lol.
I too own a Honda city Diesel I-dtec which has completed 1,52,000 on its odometer. This car is simply reliable and one of the most underrated diesel cars in India. Mileage of above 20 kmpl in traffic can save a lot of money. Plus it becomes a wild beast once its in the 3rd gear post 60 kmph. You can rev its engine to touch 200 kmph on top speed and the handling will be crisp. I have done my Ladakh trip with my car without a single problem. Honda should have invested further in diesel models as their engine was super reliable and had very low maintenance. The only issue with this car was engine packing was not done well due to which cabin noise was high. But its only felt on low speeds. Its a value for money deal even today in the second hand car market.
I am a sedan lover bro... Duniya kuch bhi bole, sedan ka comfort unmatched hai. But yes, people are turning to, rather turned to Suvs or crossovers due bad roads conditions.... And to an extent it makes sense...
I dont understand why people go for suvs just because of ground clearance. It totally depends on the place you live in. I live in Ahmedabad and roads in Gujarat are phenomenal. I own ciaz and I never face issues regarding groud clearance.
People are following the trend, they don't understand the real physics behind sedan and SUV, if they are looking for comfort. Also, the road condition in India is not good everywhere, this is also one of the reasons for buying Compact SUV over sedans. #sedan #SUV #comfort #roadconditions #India #CompactSUV
rightly said bro... SUV is all about bhed chaal... they don't have any internal knowledge about car and it's mechanics... they just go with da flow wen purchasing a car... Sedan is better in each and every way
My Alto has 160 mm ground clearance, and it can go anywhere without touching with full capacity. Ground clearance argument is overrated for city and highway use
The problem with sedans is high beam light..I always want to own a sedan..but others are driving with a high beam..and you can’t do anything..so you need a suv in india..
@RahulPandey-dm3gx put 300 watts led lights in your car (they are available ) put the sqm3 setup in fog lights and add a small led bar in front drive on low beam and flash the high beams when someone drive with their high beams , I've seen someone having a honda civic with a led bar on their roof and one in the front , they drive on low beams but if an idiot is found with high beams he will flash his high beams with led bars , the other person need to shut off their car and stop on th3 side because of this reason. I'm also having a civic and I'm planning to jab3 the same settup installed on mine except for the led bar on the roof
My Honda city is 7 years old but i feel its good as new. Changed the battery after 5 years, wheels after 40,000 kms. No other major expenses till now other than regular services from the Honda service.
11:27 bhai trust me this old 1.2L is so underrated, we own Amaze 2016, that engine, still in 2024 is a GEM, performs like a day one engine, same grunt and ZERO rattling till date, Hondas are meant to last
Same. I own both 1.5 and 1.2 vtec amaze and city. My 2018 amaze doesnt have as much power as my 2008 city but amaze sound is awesome even at 3.5k rpm and its so much better then other 1.2 l cars

My family owns a 2017 ivtec, manual city. There are few things I absolutely love about it like the comfort, the stock speakers, the handling and the steering which is nicely weighted when compared to its size unlike the hyundai cars where the steering feels a lot lighter when compared to the size of the car and so does not generate enough confidence The performance ; has touched 100 in the second gear and smoothly sails or i would say simply glides over a windy section of road However there are certain things i do not like Firstly, the engine is overall quite but whenever it is revved for instance, when setting the car in motion in the first gear,it becomes very loud Secondly, the gear shifts are not as smooth when compared with suzuki or hyundai Thirdly, the service from Honda is also expensive unlike the rival brands. Just guessing if someone else has a similar take
I Just Love Honda not just because im a jdm fan as well but we have a 2008 Honda City, and to this day we did not face a single issue regarding the engine. This created a strong emotional bond to our family car. It gives good milage, Sedan giving luxury feeling, and most importantly the best Reliable car.

6:33 Honda VTEC - Variable Valve Timing & Lift Electronic Control "VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO!" - Meme Honda VTEC allows for Honda engines to have a variable camshaft profile, which in turn results in higher performance at high RPM, and lower fuel consumption at low RPM. This is done electronically via 2 camshaft profiles, through hydraulics. Not to be confused with VVT engineered by Toyota (It is very different). Honda managed to pioneer this amazing invention into their diesel engines (which were previously not famous) and introduced it in India via the Honda Amaze in 2018, called i-DTEC.
Can confirm. I own 11 year old Honda Brio. Bought it when it was 9 year old for 3 lac. Absolutely phenomenal car. Quality is top notch. Not a single penny spent apart from regular maintenance. Really a value for money car.

I strongly agree with ur video becz one of my elder brother have this car 's top model in black color and it looks very attractive till now he says that it is a very reliable car. He has driven it more the 85k km. And yes this car didn't had any issues till now. Once upon a time his friend took his car and crashed into a truck luckily he was saved and the car performed well in the accident (it was new when the accident took place)I strongly recommend you this car
I own a 2009 Honda Civic 1.6 Auto, this isn't your average commuter car. It's a driver's dream, packing a punch that belies its age. I made few modifications and I touched 170 . That is a completely different experience which i didn't have in any other car. Even at 170, it still is very controlled. This car will put a smile on your face during every drive. Cruise control lets you relax on long stretches, while the paddle shifters put the power at your fingertips. Unlike some newer models with fake shifters, these are the real deal! Honda reliability is legendary, and this Civic is no exception. It's been meticulously maintained and is ready for many more miles of adventure. Plus, being a Honda, it's known for being fuel-efficient, keeping your wallet happy. But for some unavoidable reasons, I'm planning to sell it
In the UK and in Cyprus I see many second hand, lefthand drive, hybrid Hondas and Toyotas from Japan. We have one too. One owner, in great condition, low mileage, etc. Rarely, we spend money after its annual MOT
Honda has the best engine hands down. Power on demand at any time. Also the best steering weight feel is best not too light & not too heavy. New model needs suspension works. Over all what you need is engine which Honda dont disappoint. Not to mention ivtech. Special skill needed to unlock ivtech. And personally it doesn't seems the ivtech has kicked in on this video. In my personal view it needs high rpm but it also needs addition of proper clutch control. I once threw my car over a length of two 16 wheel trucks from the back and completely take over them both in 3 seconds which in my mind was impossible feeling. You know when you feel it. The instruction you gave on this video doesn't unlock its full potential. The magic happens in 2nd and 3rd gear. Shifting between these 2 is very crucial to unlock the ivtech.fast shifting and and very intricate clutch control is the key for my honda. But by god it will give you goose bumps. The problem is if u switch lower gear it will only rev but with proper clutch it will launch your car way faster. Very small window. Also I dont think this is no ivetech power you are showing. Thats normal driving on high rpm.
I totally agree with you. I wanted a family 7 seater petrol car. My father wanted Ertiga but I convinced him to buy a BRV because of its safety. Though safety was the only reason to choose BRV instead of Ertiga, after buying a 2019 model BRV S i-vtec from Cars24 at 7.26 lakh (in december 2023), we found out that safety isn't the only better thing in BRV than the Ertiga. Instead, the mileage of BRV's 1.5 litre petrol engine is also good. I get around 11 kmpl in heavy city traffic of Pune, 13-14 kmpl in mixed conditions (driving around 20-30 kmph in city and at 60-70 kmph on highway with medium level traggic) and a whopping 18 kmpl on highway with continuous speed of 80-90 kmph. The space is also better than the Ertiga in third row. The only issue is the availability of spare parts in my town (Mangaon, Raigad). We have to wait for 2 days for spare parts as they need to be ordered from Mumbai. The cost ia not very high as compared to Ertiga. I have installed a 70mai A810 dashcam and leather seat covers after purchasing the car. I am very happy with Honda BRV.
What is your opinion on buying a pre-owned Honda Jazz? I am thinking of buying a pre-owned vehicle as I am learning to drive and this will also be my first car purchase. I don't want to splurge money on a vehicle without having some experiences first. Will this be a good choice?
@@nikhilprakash4764 Hey! Can you please share how much you paid for it ? I also have my eyes on a 2015 SV variant driven for 70k km. What according to you would a good price for it? Also, can you share what is the mileage you are getting on it ?
I have the Honda Brio first gen, bought in 2012. Driven 1.91lac KM. Recently had issues of engine oil leak, waiting for some engine overhaul now with new gaskets and seals for the engine. It has been reliable. No issues and never had to stranded on roads.
In my opinion Hyundai Verna 1.6 CRDi will be a best used c segment sedan if your state has no 10-15 year rule. It has amazing performance as well as good mileage & reliability. Also it has all necessary features but the biggest drawback is the rear space.
I absolutely love Honda and Toyota. Own a 2008 Honda City . That said, it's all fun and games until you need a spare. It's really hard finding Honda spares. No wonders why Honda has a 2% market share in our country.

That's the wisest decision. People should learn and normalise buying used items. Appease your pocket not society. Most people are compelled to buy out of budget things so that society shall accept them
True, but most used cars come with undisclosed problems no matter how much you check service history, that is the primary reason why people go with new cars in the first place, if this gets sorted then used market cars can be resued without much hassle.

Is it new one or old one, I looking to buy amaze only , kindly give ur inputs & research on amaze if any
@@sairam6445 i bought new model.
Good thing with Honda cars like city their owners are very high class and professionals who drive their car sedately and maintaining it properly in addition with Honda's bullet proof reliability
Thus quite a sensible pick in used car market
Bro mine d.tec is now 28980 km, but driven only by me n my driver. Still service cost 6000 approx
Same I also have a wrv vx diesel no major problems till date
@@mvpterrorgaming851 As expected from a Japanese manufacturer 😁

My family owns a 2017 ivtec, manual city. There are few things I absolutely love about it like
the comfort,
the stock speakers,
the handling and the steering which is nicely weighted when compared to its size unlike the hyundai cars where the steering feels a lot lighter when compared to the size of the car and so does not generate enough confidence
The performance ; has touched 100 in the second gear and smoothly sails or i would say simply glides over a windy section of road
However there are certain things i do not like
Firstly, the engine is overall quite but whenever it is revved for instance, when setting the car in motion in the first gear,it becomes very loud
Secondly, the gear shifts are not as smooth when compared with suzuki or hyundai
Thirdly, the service from Honda is also expensive unlike the rival brands.
Just guessing if someone else has a similar take

Honda VTEC - Variable Valve Timing & Lift Electronic Control
"VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO!" - Meme
Honda VTEC allows for Honda engines to have a variable camshaft profile, which in turn results in higher performance at high RPM, and lower fuel consumption at low RPM.

Thats normal driving on high rpm.
ua-cam.com/video/lMbaZzeKJC8/v-deo.html this is the proper vtech kicking in
I totally agree with you.

HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS FOR BUYING THE NEW FLAT AND HONDA CITY!🎉
2 years ago I bought Honda city 2007 . Still satisfied with the car. Just ground clearance is the pain.
I have a honda amaze. 5 years and running. Everytime you drive, feels like new and smooth. Never once broke down or even any minor issue. Only regular servicing, no major replacement of parts or maintenance.
I can agree, we have a 2015 Honda city i-Dtec and till date have faced no issues whatsoever; be it engine, electronics, suspension, etc and the amazing thing is that it's ride quality is way better than the new so-called SUV and compact suv's. The back row seats are way better than any sedan i have sat in the same segment.
