The All New Honda City is way better in driving dynamics,handling,looks, space and every other aspect. My choice will be Honda City anyday which is the real king of the segment. I know some features are missing in new city but that can be added in future updates not a big issue but the main thing i.e. driving pleasure and fuel efficiency is spot on and top notch.
Its costly also.
None of the car reviews talk about parts durability and replacemente policies. These are very important issues
Honda and Hyundai are pretty established companies here so shouldn't be a problem
Honda being a Japanese manufacturer has a better and more reliable engine. It's a proven fact. I had a 2010 Honda city which I sold last week only because of its low ground clearance. Engine was magnificent. Not a single problem.

The front end of verna which has "splitter" in the front, not a diffuser. Diffuser is always at the rear. Rest its an amazing content.cheers!!!
Hi buddy, i am still confused between the 2 vehicles because when i took a test drive for honda city, it felt too much vibrations on the cabin, noise was a bit loud inside of the engine, and also while sitting on driver seat the vehicle gets quite down as compared to verna or other vehicles. However i haven't taken test drive for verna, but when i sit into it, the vehicle was not going much down and also sounds inside vehicle is almost 20% if its 100% in honda city. I would like to have your feedback on this.

Since 2015 Hyundai started cost cutting in verna by using all black hard plastics in interiors and by compromising length,width and,height.
Here,honda city is a clear winner,upmarket style,seems like accord and petrol redlines at 7000 rpm.Amazing performance,looks and brand value.
Till the last generation, Verna's length & width have been higher than City's. Further the interior finish of Verna (and in general current Hyundai's cars) have been pretty solid. Not clear why you felt otherwise. There are several other aspects (like build quality, features, noise insulation etc) where Verna has been superior, at least in the outgoing models. Yes, the City's petrol redlines higher but then it suffers from low torque in the lower RPMs as well until iVTEC kicks in around 4k.
Ok now start talking something real about build quality.. sirf loooks kya kroge bhai

Honda city gets alloy spare tyre and verna get steel rim spare tyre for cost cutting. Just telling because rachit sir forgot to tell

This is the same case with our Creta2020!! Tyre size 17 inches with alloys and spare wheel is a steel rim tyre 16 inches!! I dont know why Hyundai thought of doing so.......

Good review. Verna is stylish, compact& dynamic. Verna diesel is always pleasure to drive. But when it comes to petrol CITY is the king. Very smooth, agile. City is luxuries and more comfortable than Verna. In the final CITY is king of roads....

All the UA-cam comparisons are made with the top end versions of the cars. Only few ppl opt for the top end models. And there is always considerable differences between a basic/mid-variant and the top models. Usually, the wheels are smaller, no projection headlamps, no side lane cameras and quite a few more. So they don't end up looking this good. I think reviews should also be made on the basic and mid-variant models. It will be helpful for many ppl.

In Hyundai Verna wireless charges is useless, in a present time all phones come with 6.3 or 6.5 display, space provided by Verna is not sufficient.
