It actually gives me goosebumps there's nothing as sweet as a rapid fire it doesn't matter wether you are taking off or jake breaking down SWEET and smooth to I like that ✌️👍🤤
Love the zz top eliminator key chain you got there. A True old school trucker. Pulling gears and knows when to use those jakes. Keep that Detroit hummin.
My neighbor has a Kenworth with 8v92, he hauls hay with it and let me tell you, when he brings that thing down the road past us, it sounds like a tornado going past 😂
I love the sound of the old detroits especially the 8V-71s and 8V-92s, I grew up with them. I also love the KWs, especially the W9s. Check what happens at 1:04:39. Could have cost a big ticket had a City Kitty, County Mountie, or Full Grown Bear been sitting there. Ducked a bullet there. Not criticizing, just observing. Be safe out there drivers.
YIKES! Thanks for point this out, I didn't notice it. It's not the way I intend to drive. I'm sorry to everyone that sees this. Thankfully no one was hurt in this lessen, and hopefully I can do better.
Not sure I picked up on what was done (enthusiast here, not a driver), but I appreciate that both the comment and reply were respectful, unlike a lot of other online dialogue. Love the old KW, reminds me of Movin On, one of my earliest favorite shows. Could listen to that 8V-92 all day long. How many miles on your truck? You must be maintaining it well! Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Stay safe ✌
Thanks for this comment. I do try to keep things respectful, it's just who I wanna be as a person/truck driver. As for the mileage, the speedo reads 064528 right now. I'm guessing over 2million miles, but I really don't know for sure. I do know the truck used to run from PA to TX. So I'm sure its put some miles on when it was running full time.
@@8v92shenanigans Appreciate the reply and thanks for doing what you do. >2M miles is pretty amazing. Either you're taking great care of it or have a good mechanic, or both. How long has the truck been yours? I've only seen a few of your videos so far. IIRC you're based in PA. Lived in NJ until recently myself. Never driven trucks but always been interested. With family in MI and OH I've driven across PA more times than I can remember and always admire its beauty.
Like #23. Jealousy...just, jealousy. It always makes me think of the 81KW w/a 435 892 I got to run back in my early days. Loved the gear down at 116. Wish you had bigger hills in your area to force you to drop 3-4 gears. It takes me about 4-5 days to complete one of these vids. I can't watch the whole vid all the way, too busy. he he.
When trucks were trucks. No seat belts, loud pipes. No power steering. Giant steering wheels. Chrome shop shifter knobs. Passing slow pokes while rolling coal
I bet some of those other truckers smiled when you passed with the engine singing! If you know, you know.
I would but I’m not a truck driver
I really enjoy these long rides. Please take us on such journeys more often.
I could listen to that ol 8v-92 all day!
Some of us have in the past. But now we can't hear shit. Lol
Detroits have their own beautiful song! At 12:45 it's AWESOME!

Love how the speedometer doesn’t steady up until you reach 40 mph!

This isn’t driving..It’s drag racing!
Passing everything in sight!

What transmission is backing the 8V92

Are you from Jersey Trucker
No, I'm from PA. I just ran over there for years, I always enjoy trucking in NJ.
Flashing the lights and thanking drivers for lane changes is a lost courtesy...keep up the old school professionalism!
agreed! its something I wish would come back.

His rig his stacks. You go instead.
