Reminds me of my childhood. Grew up in the 70’s in a Winnebago. Big trucks like this would blow by us going downhill. Then there would be a grade, and we’d pass them back!
I can't tell if you have a turbo or not. Our silver 92 sounded like a jet whistle. But it was turned up. But that's when that was a common engine. Sounds good, brings back a lot of memories!
Oh so cool, Still can hear the 318 I used run hauling combines and tractors from Nebraska to North Dakota and Montana and back, Put a lot of miles on a screamin jimmy, still hear it in my sleep, but the old girl still working as my brother runs it as a gravel end dumper now, you just can kill them old 2 stroke 2 smoke detroits.
I own a Chevrolet Titan/90 Cabover with the Silver 8V92 Detroit (Replant) rated at 475hp with a 13 speed in it.... What's your fuel mileage with yours?... I seem to get about 3.5mpg with mine maybe 4 ...
That sound reminds me of the old transit buses when I was a little kid
That 8V92 sings a sweet song!
Nothing better than a 2 stroke singing
I can listen to the Detroit all day 💙💙 It would make my day if I could drive a big truck with that engine 🎉
I have a Peterbilt cabover with the 8v92 and it's hands down my favorite truck I own.
@ That’s awesome!! I want to learn how to drive a big rig one day! It’s on my bucket list 😀
I have and it will 👍
Hi I'm Florida too from Daytona Beach 🥰😇
I thought the green pre Silver 6v92 and 8v92 weren’t as reliable as the 71 series.
One of the best sounding diesel's in my opinion
This 900 is a good truck

Great scenery!
Great day for a ride!
Cat and international v8's are the most reliable engines ever made!
Sounds good
It’s nice because we’re not hearing all that wind!!!
U see you rolling out of swedesboro nj my home area

Would have been a real head turner back in the day(still is)
