I grow up with with 2 strokes. Dad had 12-71s and 8-92 . My first driving job was in his 1979 kenworth A model. It was on with Burns Meats out of Calgary. Put a few miles on that old truck . Nothing like the sound of a Hummingbird pulling hard . Get them tuned right and know how to make them work . Still love the sound of a silver 92 .

I remember being at the Buck years ago at a pull. Some guy had a day cab 900 with a v12 in it. It was straight piped. When he got to the end of his pull it sounded like a giant smacking huge boards together! It was awesome!

Should pick up some fuel mileage with the air hub as well. I've been told the fan will take 30 to 35 hp. Most electronic cats the fan comes an automaticly with the jakes to increase engine braking.

The only thing a Jake break on a 2 stroke diesel was good for was making alot of noise

The 92 series engines were known to spin the rear main bearings and breaking crankshafts. The v12 71 series was a much better engine
