I feel encouraged. I decided not to outdoor garden too much this summer. So I have been nurturing some new houseplants. I needed this video. I do not over water 💧 usually and I have a big north front window. New leaves are coming up! Yippie! Ahna. USA 🌿🪴
This makes me happy because I just bought a yucca today and was scared I was going to kill it! Yoly is so funny and sweet too, more of her please! Thanks for the vid xx
Hahaha thank you - I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine. Overwatering is their downfall, so lots of bright light, water when the top few inches of soil are completely dry, and I'm sure you'll get on great 💚
Absolutely loved this video... All the better for your mad but adorable doggo! 😂 I'd like to mention the Madagascan Dragon Tree.... I'm no expert and have found mine so so easy to look after. I've had it years, repotted and propogated several cuttings.... They all took too. So definitely one to mention for beginners 😁😊
Hi I am new to your channel and I love the way you explain everything to where is easy to understand for a beginner. Also love that you say rather a plant is toxic or not for pets! I am new to growing plants and have a few that you listed. Another that I have had a-lot of success with is the inch plant.
Pothos is also great growing from the top of a tropical aquarium. Keeping the lower stem and leaves out of the water obvs. It gets its nourishment from the nitrogen in the fishy poo so it does two jobs - it helps to balance the nitrogen cycle in the aquarium and it feeds itself. A wonderful, highly underrated, plant imo.
Hi! I’m a new subscriber. I have most of the plants you showed here and they’re all doing well. 😊. Your dog is adorable! I have two Boston Terriers and they’re lots of fun. 😊🐾 Thank you for sharing and I’m going to check out your older videos! 💜
Hi, Claire. I'm planning to have plants in my house, but each day, i just can open door and window around 4-5 hours for my plants to recieve medium indirect light. So it is still okay for them to grow, isn't it? Hope you will see this comment , thank you a lot!
I grew my ficus elastica outside. It likes full sun. It's a tree🌳 Unfortunately it's too heavy now and I don't want to take it outside anymore. Inside it grows weaker. It's still alive but not as good looking as growing outside in full sun. So, yeah. It's not exactly a "house plant."

Definitely a great one - I'll add it to my list, and when Joli gives me a moment of peace to continue with this I'll definitely include it 😂🌿
@@TheJungleHavenwhile easy to care for for sure just a gentle note that it is VERY toxic for dogs and cats for whom that applies to 😊

Ooooh I haven't tried that, but it doesn't surprise me! I water my plants with aquarium water all the time and they love it x

Hiya! Aww I love Boston Terriers - hopefully they're not quite as bouncy as this one when it comes to plants 😂🌿
@@TheJungleHaven Haha, no. They take a quick sniff and then ignore them. 😊🐾
Loved the video, made me smile .. I too have a dog with a whippy tail, so handy for pruning .. I dont think!
Haha, yes those tails are definitely good for pruning alright 😂🌱

I like your jade plant. It looks really healthy. I can't wait for mine to grow like yours. By the way, you should show us your doggie more often.
Awesome puppy👍👍

Apparently diffenbachia were also used to “silence nagging wives”. Good video, thank you Claire.
Its a shame Diffenbachia dont render Thrips dumb 😢 mine is a magnet for them ...
