    I made the yoghurt early in the morning and later went to the market to buy bottles and other materials for the yoghurt production and supplied to a supermarket close to me

    Thanks for the video. How do prevent the yoghurt from over fermenting? In my case if it stays for more than 2-3 days the whey separates from the yoghurt and it becomes extremely sour

      You shouldn't let your yoghurt stay for 2-3 days without being refrigerated. Maximum number of hours for fermentation should be 24hours, that's one day. If you don't refrigerate after one day, it'll over ferment. I hope this helps.

      Fermentation should only be from 3 to 7 hours depending on how sour u want it to stop further fermentation u need to store it in an air tight container and properly refrigerate it

      U can’t supply to those people but supply to restaurant or bar that can sell immediately u don’t have to print expiring date on sticker if you’re supplying to those that are selling immediately

      35cl #700 because it’s thick and comes with a strawberry jam
      But if you wanna do regular yoghurt it’s #500 depending on your area and cost of production

      Perhaps u are lactose intolerant, but make sure ur yoghurt is made on a good condition

      Coconut is turf to eat in yoghurt except ure using it on parfait if not I advise u use something that’s smooth

    I used 3cups of milk and 2.5L of water because i wanted to try it out small first before making in large quantity but it didn't ferment and also i used store bought yogurt and i used 1cup of it and i kept it in my box,pls where did i get it wrong?

      I think the water was too much a bit try to use 1 litre for a start make sure u use an unsweetened yoghurt as culture just before your milk start to boil turn off the heat and allow it cool for 30 minutes before adding ur culture store it in a cozy environment like inside ur oven or warmer u can use cloth to still cover it to make sure the heat doesn’t escape after 3 hours the yoghurt should be ready

      Artificial preservative are in the market and u can go make your inquiries but if u are going into small production like mine u don’t need preservative trying to use preservative u have to talk about nafdac registration

      If u want it to be thick use 5litr of water instead of 6litr then add 2 cups of unsweetened yoghurt as ur culture, allow it to ferment for 4hrs

      I think the word “commercial” has different meaning to some people. If you intend on selling to the general public, your yogurt needs preservative. If you are making it for your household to consume, you don’t need preservative.

    Because I remember going to shopping malls to market my plantain chips but I was told to get NAFDAC number first😢😢😢😢.

      Yes dear to be able to supply to supermarkets u need nafdac and that’s a bit challenging cos u a small business trying to grow paying a whole lot and u need a google working space to be approved by nafdac

      NAFDAC is like a HUGE barrier for people, mostly mental , backed by fear.
      You would see some yogurt on supermarket shelves, but when you taste it it’s trash… yet it carries NAFDAC number. Best thing to do is, courageously Walk into any NAFDAC office and find out anything you need. You can even pre write questions you can ask.
      And it’s not only NAFDAC you will need, do you have CAC? Trademark? Is your business registered?
      Nobody, I mean nobody will voluntarily tell you how much they paid to get their NAFDAC certification, like it’s some big secret🙄 anywho…
      NAFDAC is compulsory for anything that is consumed by mouth, it’s best to have it, than to hope supermarkets will shelf your products, the big ones won’t, and small supermarkets are catching up.
      Ps: you don’t need a full blown factory to get nafdac, a 1 to 5 person business can apply… at micro or kitchen scale
      If you go online , you will find the necessary requirements needed to get the number… avoid agents… do it yourself (DIY)

      Nafdac can come in later because it takes time and lots of money it can stay more than one week if properly refrigerated

      Making the sugar syrup. Did you use all 500grams in it? Did you drive out the particles in the dates? It is it all in there? How many cups of water did you use for the syrup?

      6litre of water
      1kg of milk
      2 cups of sugar

      Soak the date if it’s dry wash and chop
      For 4 cups of date add 4 cups of water boil it for a long time till the date is soft then add your sugar 4cups of sugar

      Thanks dear I didn’t use preservative for mine yoghurt have a shelf life of 2weeks if properly refrigerated

      Make sure your milk is at the right temperature before adding your culture then put it in a cozy environment for fermentation

      If the person is buying in wholesale you can make arrangements for the cooling of the yoghurt with some bottled ice so it doesn’t melt quickly if he’s willing to pay the transportation cost of cos, am happy to help my dear can’t wait to hear of your expansion ❤️🌹
