Finally I found a review about this particular model and size, most of the reviews out there are for the G70A model. I have not experienced issues with the HDMI ports not automatically changing when a device is on, it seamlessly changes between my work laptop and my PS5. I got this monitor a couple days ago and I can play videogames at 120hz, I have VRR on and HDR on, I will have to try turn off HDR to see if it makes the games look better. Thanks for the review, maybe you can make a short one about calibrating/changing the color settings to get the best out of the PS5.
Thank you so much for your review, very well put together, you point out serveral aspects of the monitor other reviewers failed to mention. I believe it's an excellent display. I got one a few days ago and I can tell you %80 of the issues mentioned by people on their reviews are because of poor cables. This monitor uses Displayport 1. 4 and HDMI 2.1. if you use old or new (but not compliant) cables, you WILL experience issues such as flickering and black screens with it. Keep up the good work. Wait got the g7 latest one tizen installed? Because iam kinda looking for a monitor for my ps5 but also was looking for something that can run a iptv app when connected to the internet for when i go to a Lan party or when i go for traveling with the camper

Hi, i am thinking to replaced my LG 4K UHD HDR10 who's got now a little but little scracht on the screen.. do you recommend me this monitor? I am looking for a 4K 144Hz, HDR10...
Not sure how HDR works on the PS5 since I don't own one, but it 100% works on PC. It's decent enough, you'll get great colors in games that support it, but the local dimming feature is a bit awkward to use for regular web browsing so it's better to turn it off when viewing SDR content.
I have an issue where the Home Screen is very dark
Does your screen ever go black and come back again while playing on ps5 while using vrr I can't use it on mine on most games.
It does sometimes but only seems to be when I first turn the PS5 on. Never had an issue while playing. Not yet anyway!
Happens to me all the time! Had to turn VRR off so far so good.
Hey, I've got a question. When you turn on your PC/laptop, does the monitor just switch on and show the desktop? I mean, like any other monitor without smart TV functionality, so you don't need to select anything with the remote or do anything every time you turn your PC/laptop on.
If I remember correctly I think you can turn the feature on or off. Next time I use it I’ll double check for you

So it does have ‘auto source switch+’ so it should automatically switch.

This is the G70B, very different
This monitor is not fresync compatible and you shouldn't use game mode if you have amd card as it casuing issues , ive even head that to be the case with nvida aswell

If it's a 4k monitor why do you play it on 1440? Can it not go to 4k?
It was that long ago when I do it all now I’ll have to double check for you but I’m sure it plays in 3840x2160.

This was isn’t
This one is the G7 G70B, the curved one should be the G7 G73T but they have different specs. G73T has 2560x1440 with 240Hz, the G70B has 3840x2160 with 144Hz
