when i was a kid i play mgs3, but i didn't understand anything because i didn't understand english, now that i can understand almost every single word of the characters, it's amazing how detail was this game in a PS2! also... i didn't know about *don't kill enemies* and the tranquilizer gun so... yeah... *insert Venom Snake screaming*
Thank you so much for all the effort you put into these codex videos. I’ve been listening to them for the past few days, and I can scarcely imagine the time and effort that went into collecting all this footage. I never had the chance to play the game, so things like this let me experience the story and environment so much more.
Well, it’s an automatic in the sense that it’s an auto loader. The term semi automatic didn’t have that meaning until 1964, when MGS3 takes place. It makes sense singing would be up to date on terminology, as he works more with R&D than she does. She’s likely familiar with calling it an automatic as that WAS what it was called for her entire career up until ther point.
I would have to disagree with the boss while she right about Camo not being used on the battlefield on a massive scale until the first world war ppl have been camouflaging themselves for military campaigns since the beginning the Greeks and Egyptians would go almost naked for stealth missions because there dark skin colors would help them blend into dark areas also its easier to move around when thy're not wearing tons of armor and gear
Yeah usually wearing those bright colours was more to prevent friendly fire. Especially in the age of gunpowder where after a volley or two the entire platoon could see little. But stuff like camouflaging your positions and attacking your enemy with these troops from the flanks was war as usual since ancient times.
Ancient warfare was one thing but the organized armies of Europe for centuries wore brightly colored uniforms, there are examples of specialized troops wearing more subdued colors but up through the 19th Century common practice was brightly colored national or regimental uniforms, the British fought in their iconic red coats for the final time during the Battle of Gennis in December 1885, the U.S. introduced olive drab uniforms in 1902, France was a little slow on adopting subdued uniforms and modern military tactics during the First Battle of the Marne French soldiers marched into battle wearing blue tunics and red trouser, marching towards German machine gun lines in traditional formations.
43:40 I guess this is here to explain why Naked Snake just can't have a kid, he's probably infertile after being in a nuclear blast.
It's canon that due to the nuclear blast, his pp size increased dramatically.
Not to mention the Davey Crockett fired by Volgin.

Yes the good ol mgs2 mgs3 day's🦄🦄🦄🦄
They did allude Ocelot true origin too.
Ocelot is an american-cat.
Glad they kept Ocelot's parents subtle. Like an ocelot.
Snake describing the modifications on the m1911 is porn for firearm enthusiasts

LGDXJawsdakiller truly a cultural pioneer
The Boss says SVD is automatic, SIGINT finally says correctly that its semi automatic. Guess the Boss was wrong about something after all. 😂

Yes, like the M1911. They used to refer to it an Automatic Pistol, before semi-automatic was a term
Stating her will is probably the biggest mistake she made as two men nearly destroyed the entire world trying to interpret what she meant.

They really put their research into the aircraft details in this game, I'm surprised
This should have a billion viewers.
Thanks for making this video. It helps a lot and is very entertaining. 😁✌️
It's always my favourite shit when metal gear characters casually break the fourth wall. "you'll immediately go into first person view"
ah yes basic training, where my drill sergeant taught me how to use the Action Button and First Person View to the best of my ability
@@huhtorro I never figured out how to smell though. Whole squad bay got thrashed for that.
@@terminalcreature1560at least you have the gamer instinct.
