Subnautica 2.0: Casual quick run, Start to Finish in just a few hours
A method of casually speedrunning Subnautica that should be accessible to most players, without requiring an eidetic memory. A reworked version of an earlier video, now for Subnautica 2.0, on Survival difficulty, and usable for Hardcore.
The run is divided into 17 “Dives”, each with a particular goal. The technique makes use of the Scanner Room, which is acquired early. This shows how to do it without the Ultra Capacity Tank, though gets the materials for it. While building the Stasis Rifle is not necessary, it would be highly advisable for Hardcore difficulty. Cheating is avoided as much as possible; the Captain’s Quarters Code is obtained legitimately, and while I tried to avoid multiple tanks, it was necessary at one point.

Subnautica: Getting all Beacons/Signals

For those that don’t like using the Zero Point, the pre-existing Beacons or Signals in the game are useful for navigation, but each has to first be acquired somehow. This video shows how to get them.
Subnautica: Getting all 23+ Ion Cubes
Переглядів 2,9 тис.2 роки тому
There are about 30 Ion Cubes that can be obtained before the Primary Containment Facility is unlocked, with its infinite source of Ion Cubes. 23 Ion Cubes are obtainable without the Prawn Suit’s Drill Arm. There is one Ion Cube deposit that requires the Drill Arm, which yields a random amount of Ion Cubes somewhere around 10. The Primary Containment Facility contains a further 2 Ion Cubes in it...
Subnautica: Getting all 7 Purple Tablets
Переглядів 7822 роки тому
It is possible to obtain 7 free Purple Tablets without having to craft them using valuable Ion Cubes. All bar 1 are on the Enforcement Platform island. I believe there are a total of 8 doors in the game requiring Purple Tablets (correct me if I’m wrong in the comments). This means that, if opening all doors, one of them will require using an Ion Cube, of which there are a limited supply before ...
Subnautica: Scene - the Sunbeam / the Enforcement Platform (nighttime version)
Переглядів 802 роки тому
The first time I saw this scene was at night, and I’ve always thought it looked better. 40 minutes is exactly two in-game days, so in order to get this event at night, activate a Radio to get the call that starts the timer after sunset.
Earthblood: Maxing out Spirit Points / Getting All Skills
Переглядів 5733 роки тому
By my latest count, there are 64.5 available Spirit Points in the game, and it takes 63 to unlock every single Skill available. When I started making this video, I thought the total was 63.5, but late in the editing process I discovered another one. Of the available Spirit Points, 16.5 are always given at set points through the game (I call these “Experience” Spirit Points), 5.25 come from comp...

One-shotting Parchu’a, followed by gameplay showing techniques for handling Onawa. The beginning shows the conversation path that results in the most Rage gains. The specific attack/Skill used to one-shot him is Dance of the Wind, the end-game Agile Special Attack. I still haven’t worked out exactly how that attack works, but holding the control stick in a direction during the attack seems to p...

The only thing that I find a bit off is the whooshing sound for the title logo because the PS2 version had it
He knew.
MG games have the best 4th wall breaks
Lol the option for Surrender is quitting the game 😂 “Start + ‘A’”
He’s challenging me
Funny how it's canon Ocelot can break the 4th wall lol
Used autofire in ps mgs via duckstation. Ocelot didn't suspect anything
"Valua could use a little rain..." One of the coldest implications I've ever heard in all of gaming.
I triggered this by accident just button mashing really fast
also, if you die during this scene, there is no continue option
"Don't even think about playing The Twin Snakes, or I'll know."
On my first playthrough I used autofire. He didn't know. Also, there were continues...
Man I love kaz.
I had a cheap gamecube controller growing up. It was apparently crappy enough to not get detected by Ocelots anti-cheat.
This was so stupid and poorly executed...my sister could mash the button so fast (he trained with FFVIII's GF boost) the game detected it as autofire.
They call ocelot amaster of torture but he uses one of the most weak torture metods there tons of toeture metoda that are more efective than eletricity lol!
Twin Snakes sucks. That's the comment. That's the fact.
Unless your super grinded like this bloke, this is easily the hardest boss fight in the original version.
Eli going "damn it, again?" to Adamska. He sounds surprisingly cool despite it ruining their plans, because Rex won't become active.
16:13 his laugh kills me haha
Thanks for this video. Because I always complete the Civil War questline BEFORE even going to retrieve the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller in Ustengrav, I have never seen this part of the questline before. Doesn’t help that the Windhelm home Hjerim is my all time favorite and the only way to get it is by completing the Civil War questline from start to finish. So now I don’t have to “disrupt my routine” just to see what this quest is like. That’s why I love UA-cam
Huh. I never actually knew what happened - even used an auto controller before.
Early anti cheat system in console
15+ game clears, watched multiple videos like this, and I'm STILL hearing new dialogue from this game.
Thank you so much
IM USING IT 😂
Major: Tells Snake to bring his poo home. Snake: Eats over 500 meals, mostly raw meat.
I didn't know what it meant before
In uk version that we had if we used auto fire, they would leave a bomb in our inventory when we escaped
_'Kneel before me.'_
Galcian was a hero.
damn, I really wish there was a video of this with more than 3 pixels
What’s weird is when you use auto fire on Duck station or even back on psx he can’t detect auto fire
The panic in Zero's voice when he said "HEY, MY SCONE'S GONE TOO!" just sent me
Thanks for uploading this. I played this on the Dreamcast as a kid, it is one of my favorite gaming memories. This ending sequence is still better and more satisfying than many AAA games today.
The torture in MGS Peace Walker is unforgivable 😭💀
"Don't even think about slamming shut the cylinder, or I'll know..." ~ Revolver Ocelot
"But boss, he used auto fire!"
I used an auto fire controller years ago on PS1, and it worked fine.
0:07 what's with that face, Snake? 0:54 - 1:44 they're like "we were watching that!" 2:06 They fell asleep because The commandant speech was so boring 😂 3:03 that awkward silence 😂😂😂 3:07 Raiden fell up to the stairs Snake: DAMN KID! 3:16 Raiden: Wake up you jerk! 3:25 😂😂😂 5:20 the way how Snake is running away while still in the box got me! 😂 14:13 😂😂😂
Just finished my first ever playthrough of this game. Reminded me of when me and my brother struggled to mash the b button hard enough for Ninja Storm 2. I had to resort to the spoon method.
Is it possible to do a combination between missions, this meeting etc. To have Riften, falkreath, stormcloak and the rest empire? Skipping Windhelm obviously.
Long live the empire
One thing unchecked. What if you already assassinated the emperor with the dark brotherhood, regardless of which side in the war you picked. Hmmmm
I remember that my first experience with this game was on an emulator and i by no mean press a button fast enough and i honestly tried for ages but i just fully admit i'm bad at it but anyway i used the emulators turbo funtion and funnily enough it somehow didn't trigger the autofire prompt. btw in case anyone was wondering this was on duckstation as i was playing the ps1 version
01:39 OMG thats perfect pre-aiming right there.
dr gero tortures trunks for using autofire on the androids, age 784 colorized
43:35 Ok I wish I could pull that one on the 3DS version
i don'tt get it. I used Auto-fire on the PS version and I got by with no issues or punishments.
No full auto in buildings
