@KINDLY HELP ME REACH TO 100K SUB Congratulations... you're a prophet
I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that drinking alcohol is not as bad as doing steroids, not the other way around.
Alcohol in extremely moderate amounts (like a glass of 🍷) is nothing and won't even damage your body. Steroids on the other hand can straight up kill you faster.
It depends entirely on dosage and specifics. Steroids just refer to drugs that mimic your androgens functions (e.g., testosterone). I took steroids when I was 12 on a prescription for some medical reason (I don't entirely remember why, it was a long time ago). Steroids are potentially very dangerous, but it depends on how often you use them, how much you use and for how long. The same is true for alchohol or any other substance for that matter. The difference is alchohol poses the danger of being chemically addictive, in a way that steroids are not.
Just avoid both all together if possible.
Exactly steroids are way worse for you than having a drink every now and then lol
@@DembaraLemoon When people talk about steroids they’re never talking about medically prescribed ones. Hormones are fine if you’re actually supposed to have them. Unless you’re an alcoholic, your liver can recover if you’re still young and take a break off alcohol. You can’t recover from hormones because they literally alter your body. If you self-medicate hormones or change gender, you WILL die early. You WILL be prone to disease. You cannot reverse it.
I'm a recovering alcoholic and what it sounds like the 15 year old is doing is defending his addiction, by saying things like everyone who's concerned is a hater. I used to tell myself that I was funnier when drunk, which is quite common amongst alcoholics and addicts alike. Addiction doesn't care about age and will distort your thoughts regardless, while making you think they're your thoughts.
Wait really? I think I'm funnier when I'm high
@@darisanraj1786 you’re not. There’s nothing wrong with getting high or getting drunk, what’s wrong is when people make it part of their identity

How can you have a better world view when the world itself is telling you biceps and abbs will get you all the chicks. There is no point in that line😐 drugs or no drugs, the world view doesnt change
Man, that quote of "I've always been obsessed with how my body looks and [other people's perception of my body]" is textbook for someone who has anorexia or bulimia. Pewds is 100% correct that this is the male version of *unobtainable* body standards (it's not unobtainable but does take years upon years of consistent hard work and dedication). A low self-esteem seems so easy to get for kids coming up with social media, unfortunately... They look at people who've been working for those bodies for as long as they've been alive, without realizing how much it actually takes to get like that - then those same profiles advertise different substances which "helped them" get to those physiques (they did not.. they're nothing more than ads 95+% of the time). That his parents and the adults around him see no problem with this is really disgusting imo.
nah its unobtainable, what this kid already has is already pushing human limits without roids
Thing is, in some views of parents, this is seen as extremely irresponsible
But for some, they would also view it as "Letting your kid discover who they are, follow their dreams" etc
Ngl, I feel social media platforms should be taking down his account and label it as "Child endangerment" as he is showcasing his addiction pretty much and as a minor
I feel bad for the kid, that he's gotten into a sickly mentality of wanting to die young before 40, gotten into steroid addiction, massively low self esteem and constant climb for unattainable figure
Some would want him following his dreams of always going for the body grind, some would just insert themselves into that situation even if it isn't their business (Yes, I know it's a kid but 1-2 years and he ain't no kid, not our job to meddle in that business, it's Social Services, best you can do is report it)
My problem I have with this is that, other kids around him despite him saying No to steroids but still using it, they might end up using too, having low self esteem and envy for "great muscle build"
The reason why some parents may allow this or sellers of steroids is that... They don't want the person going through illegal or immoral means to get the steroids
They'd rather they let the kid do his steroids in a safe controlled environment where they have view of him, maybe they can somewhat control his steroid use to a minimum
Rather than him jacking himself to the maximum without caution as an illegal steroid seller wouldn't care how much you inject into yourself, how much you buy from them etc
So I can see WHY parents would let him do this, they are probably not okay with it, maybe they are, but they want their kid not going anywhere shady or illegal to get the steroids because they didn't allow him
They could probably just throw him into some psych ward and be done with it, very small chance of hurting himself, but he might suicide if he becomes depressed in psych ward because he couldn't get into steroids anymore
There's just so much that you gotta account for when looking at someone suffering from addiction, a minor, someone that has an unrealistic delusional dream

You know typically when I watch these stories I just shake my head but with this one it's hard I just feel so bad for him, he's so young :(
It’s honestly justified to feel bad for this kid, it’s the people around him who allows him the eating dissorder megarexia. Being body obsessed at 15 year old, is nothing special, but this case is definetively a dissorder.
Exactly - especially when he said it's like 15 year old girls trying to get really thin, even taking weight loss drugs, they're both so young and consider any side effects or long term damage worth it, because all they can think about is how they look now, not how they'll have to live for the rest of their lives.
I really hope it doesn't damage his heart/lungs/kidneys or hormones long-term, because that sounds so hard to live with, especially if you do it to yourself.

Apologies if you already knew.
"I've had this dream my whole life," said the 15-year old.
Yea, like what life you're talking about? 😂
Maybe he's a kid, but those 15 years were his whole life. It's easy to have perspective when looking back on life, but it's a lot harder to think about the far future. It's too abstract and distant. What matters for people the most is how they feel in the present
@@6pac. his life duh
I honestly feel bad for that kid. I really hope somebody helps him so he can get off that stuff and just love his body and just be healthy. It worries me for real.
Felix character development was not something I anticipated, God bless you sir. You have a really good opportunity to help mitigate the psychological damage being inflicted on minors today.
I really respect that Felix kept in mind the fact that the kid probably has some psychological issues and there's likely a deeper reason for his steroid usage as well as him mentioning his insecurities.
I really enjoy this kind of video. If you wanna make more philosophy videos like the few you made before I would love it!
*To be honest I make fantastic videos but people don't watch them 😞😭*
Agree, & when he was listing the reasons for the use, he left out a big reason & that's homosexuality. Don't care if he is or isn't but over exaggerated masculinity in boys & men is sometimes a psychological act where you walk away form a social encounter asking yourself who are they trying to convince they're a 'real man' , us or themselves?
It's very much an illness, just like bulimia or other eating/looks based disorders. Body building can easily be an addiction that goes so far it ends up killing you at a young age. The body simply isn't designed to withstand this punishment. Just listen to Hugh Jackman on why he needed to retire as Wolverine, staying in that shape was destroying his body.

I mean from what i've heard there's pretty high amounts of people in bodybuilding and fitness circles who have eating disorders so it wouldn't suprise me if he has one too.. The way he talks about it certainly sounds a bit alarming
I suffer from an ed and yes that sounds like a mentality of someone with an ed. I put my body through hell to lose weight, even though im already slightly underweight, and am aware that this look simply is not attainable, except if you are a naturally thin person, which idk what i am cause i went from slightly overweight due to daily overeating, to slightly underweight due to under eating, or even starving myself at some points. This mentality is horrible and is very hard to overcome. I suffered both mentally and phisically for simply being skinny. It may sound dumb, especially coming from a guy, but this happens.

He's 15. He can grow his body naturally. I have a classmate back in HS who's so skinny. I've seen how he was able to grow his body. It just occurred naturally like he eats healthy foods and going to gym. It took him some time but he's still alive and thriving in college.
Its sad that hes so far into body dysmorphia that early in life. Lifting is so much more satisfying when you do it because you love it not what other people think of you.
Social media had ruined most young peoples self esteem. A lot of us developed really bad body dysmorphia cause of social media. It sucks
I definitely agree. It's really sad.
*To be honest I make fantastic videos but people don't watch them 😭*
It’s especially sad because body dysmorphia affects adolescents and teens more often than adults, and their underdeveloped brains cause them to do harmful things because of it :(
Yea man, main focus is to get more healthy imo so roids are out of the question for me
"I'm not like other 15 year olds" *has depression and anxiety*
I honestly doubt he has depression or anxiety
@@dfct9494 kid is clearly not comfortable just being and looking like himself.
@@frostbite3820 I think he has severe body issues, a.k.a muscle dysmorphia, which is a form of BDD. My guy clearly needs to get off the steroids and seek professional help
Maybe not depression but definitely anxiety
8:03 OMG he looks just like that villain from megamind
“Other 15 year olds look average” he says like it’s a bad thing.
As a 17yo into lifting, I've always kept my standard that steroids will NEVER be an option, and it's because of dudes like him that guys younger than me are goin for that road to darkness. Pewds you handled this better than I thought ngl
Shadowed in a doctors office. Young guy took them for 5 years as a teen and they completely destroyed his kidneys. Definately not worth the short term boost in muscle mass.
Actually hes 4 years older than u, this is a old vid n hes 21 rn
@@emelylo3854 how is he now?
@@aur9035 hes doing pretty good i guess
It’s common in the industry But you have to understand cycles. Me personally I don’t but I’m already gifted 😅 perks of being a fucking giant with SLIGHTLY high test. Though thankfully not super high because that shit fucks you up.

This video is old. And the then 15 year old has stopped taking PEDs/steroids. Pewdiepie is running out of ideas so he resorts to watching old videos.
He looks like the nerdy guy Megamind after he becomes a cocky superhero
"DUDE I JUST WANT TO PICK UP BABES"

He’s like one of those Netflix teenagers, except he really is a teenager
I feel like orthorexia isn't talked about enough, a lot of gym junkies have it. It never is noticed though coz people think it's "healthy". Sad when body image issues and EDs result to these extremes :(
lol funny how everything is an ED except being obese or unhealthy. But we have like 20 EDs for people wanting to maintain a lower weight.
yes! its bad to classify good food and bad food and never eat bad food, jeff nippard did a amazing video on it
@@Andrea-dm4gd …..This is a teenage boy TAKING STEROIDS because he hates his body. WTF is wrong with you?
@@Andrea-dm4gd what are you talking about Theres plenty of eatingdisorders relatert to obesity
@@Andrea-dm4gd there is an ED for obese people, it’s binge eating. any type of unhealthy association with food is considered an eating disorder

getting roided for a competition is one thing but if its purely for aesthetics and ego...you gotta get ur priorities in order.

I agree you need to learn to not care about what people think of you and move forward

It's sad to see a kid doing this to himself, especially at such a young age. Now I'm no saint by any means and have gone through the ringer with my own drug addiction, but I've overcome it and am now 29 years old and lead a pretty successful life coming from where I did. I started using young, and it makes me sad to see kids do exactly what I did because it will ruin their life no matter what drug it is or what their goal is. Drugs ruin lives, there is no if, ands, or buts about it. I hope that kid will get help so he can at least have a shot at living a somewhat normal life and actually develop how he is supposed to.
I’m glad you’re still around to tell your story :)
*To be honest I make fantastic videos but people don't watch them 😭😭😭*
@@Valmordi thank you, that means a lot to me :) I am very lucky to be able to tell my story, and to still be alive today. Hopefully that kid will have a story of overcoming his addiction to tell as well when he is older.
I'm glad you're better now, comrade.
I hope you say the same for alcohol consumption too! Also, congrats on overcoming your addiction!
Felix: social media shouldn’t be allowed to anyone under 18, I know I would be out of a job but…
Felix, you’ll be fine, you’re forgetting that we’re 19
