On the note of written documentation for rules, no business is required to post their policy. I have no idea where people get this from they are allowed to deny you service for any reason they deem fit so long as that reason does not pertain to discrimination against a protected group. For example many small businesses will reject payment with $100 bills because either they don't have the cash on hand to break $100 or they don't want to risk taking in a fake $100 bill. Likewise checks are often rejected by businesses due to them bouncing.
1:27 this is actually a good way to work the same part of the leg you would if you were doing barbell squats, but with less stress and less chances of getting injured. It’s a legit low impact exercise and can even be used for stretching your hips.
Planet Fitness: To stop people from grunting loudly and dropping their weight , we’re going to play a loud siren while people are exercising. Soooo much better
Imagine, you're lifting weights, as you reach the end of your final lift, you can't help but let out what's left of the air in your lungs, your vocal cords catch that air as it escapes your throat. You just broke your most recent rep record, your muscles feel like they're on fire, your body literally can't keep going or hold the weight up any longer. You try to put the weights down gently, but the moment you give slightly, your body gives out and the weights fall out of your grip, slamming to the ground. Suddenly the incredibly loud and annoying lunk alarm goes off, and you look around to see that everyone has their attention focused on you, it was for you, you are the lunk, that's what you get for pushing yourself in your workout, fucking lunk.
Ayo at 4:10 the guy kicking down the bar could've injured the man deadlifting because he could've put too much pressure. Bro could've broke his spine 🤦🏽♂️
Dropping weights or grunting while exercising is considered "distracting" and makes new comers uncomfortable. As for the large watter bottles over 1 lb is a safety risk and spill risk which is a bitch and a half to clean up because the floors soak and mold. Which is why they don't allow it. Luckily the one I went to and eventually worked at were really nice about it and full of stoner staff and would always politely ask people to not grunt and drop weights 3 times before we had to get "assertive" . but these clips make me laugh cause im like "what assholes"
A real no judgement place is literally Gold's Gym. Ive seen a bigger fella lifting with some really buff dudes and they motivating him and pushing him. Gym culture has always been about pushing and motivating. When you hear guys yelling during reps, that should get you hyped not intimidated.
@port nut I guess this is just anecdotal vs anecdotal but the gym culture I've been in is harm prevention and correction so you get a better lift. For most high experienced lifters I've met they are more worried about someone injuring themselves.

@@NBDYSPCL he still could probably sue if he wanted to even tho the guys parently banned for life, i bet a decent lawyer could easily claim it as assault, especially seeing as he was minding his own business in what seemed like the specific area for deadlifts in that gym
@@AlligatorAli That's a terrible idea, because then the guy lifting would also be banned from the gym for life (kicking guy was banned). It takes a different kind of strength to hold back. That's what I was taught in Tae Kwon Do. I suggest you learn this strength as well.
Never understood the rage from people when you deadlift and drop the weights a little. It's a gym there's going to be noise. Wear headphones like everyone else, do your workout and go home. Quit being a Karen.
It’s the people who drop the weights “a lot” that get me. The ones who do half the exercise and don’t even want to try to set the down. It’s annoying and can potentially damage the weights. Incidental clanging and grunting is par. Grunt-yelling with every rep and dropping the weights right after lifting them is where I get pissed. But then again, I’m a misanthropic gym rat turned agoraphobe, so who am I to talk?
@@likochkahowlett7338 a complete deadlift is actually just when you lift it from the floor, putting it back is not included, thats why some (usually those who lift very heavy and do very few reps) just drop it when finished
And that’s why, in my response to the op saying “[...] you deadlift and drop the weights a little.” I responded with what my peeve is and used quotes around “a lot” to symbolize meaning the opposite. You know, not talking about the exact thing mentioned, but a tangential opposite action. Confirming that there is nothing wrong with dropping weights a little, and no gripe with proper form and etiquette, but instead with exaggerating peacocking. You want to read smugness and hate me for it? Go ahead, whatever gets you through your day, but don’t presume to put your meaning in my words.
So essentially... planet "fitness" is for people who dont ACTUALLY want to work out, but just go to feel like they do something. Hence no noise, sportwear and hydration
It's not the noise, it's the type. You guys are just butt hurt that those you reject reject you. Sadly azzzholes got in or there'd be no videos to mock
Unpopular opinion: if you want quiet deadlifts ask the gym to buy deadlift pads and bumper plates, don't harass people who are training and doing an exercise correctly. My gym has poster that says that you can ask in the office for equipment if you see they lack a machine, equipment is missing parts or plates or see something broken and they will see what they can do. I went and asked for deadlift pads showing some links and shops where they could buy them and next week they were installed, literal night and day, they also told me they were a life saver since it's a 24h gym but on top there is an apartment complex and the complains from the neighbors have reduced significantly.
4:16 That is incredibly dangerous its really frowned upon because you can cause serious injury to yourself or someone else if you throw/knock the equipment out of somebody’s hands.
