Indeed, parallel nodes are often underrated in Color Grading. Great Job!

Your content is awesome. Can you do a tutorial on how to deal with footage that you can't pull a key out easily? For example how to get good skin tones from the low bit depth or underexposed footage that lacks color information. I know you can always do power windows, but what steps can we take before that.

I was a total noob on Resolve just a week ago. I've discovered your channel, I've been binging content and I've been learning like crazy. Coming from Vegas Pro, Resolve has quite a steep learning curve but somehow the way you teach makes me want to learn more and I think I'm gonna switch to Resolve now. Thank you for this awesome content man!

@@theqazman I've browsed through your videos looking for something on file management. Coming from Vegas Pro, this is the most confusing aspect of Resolve that throws me off a lot. In Vegas Pro, I put all my videos, PSDs (I often animate photoshop files my videos), and audio clips in a "casts" folder beside my vegas project file. When I need to make a new video, based on the same concept I just duplicate that folder and replace the assets but keeping the same name. When I open the project, everything is there but with the assets replaced automatically. I've tried doing that in Resolve and each time I need to "replace" each file individually. I'd be very interested to see how you manage your files and how you would approach a project like I just mentioned. Sorry for writing a novel.

Hi Qazi, thanks for the great grading tutorial! I was wondering if youre interested in doing comparison videos between cameras. A lot of cameras are being compared for their image quality but usually the creators either apply conversion LUTS or just basic color correction and compare the footages. But I feel like with your skills, you'll be able to better color correct and grade the footages to show people that you don't need to keep chasing for the latest cameras with the highest DR, but rather need to focus on learning how to color grade so you can make any footage look it's best. Perhaps you can share your experience of grading the different footage and comment on how flexible one footage is compared to another but ultimately, with the proper skills, anyone can get great results just with different journey.
    Thanks man
EDIT: Some UA-camrs like JSFILMZ has filmed comparison videos with a lot of cameras and have made them available for download.
