This cut took years off Marilyn! Honestly, I would like it (if it were me) a tiny less spiky but the cut is terrific and ever so easy to maintain. kudos for knowing how to handle a scissors.

Aaaaaaaaaaabsoolutely beaaautiful the two of you omg! I was afraid of getting a pixie because I have a round face, but no more, I went out and got it, and I love it so much! I'm' 63 and I find sincerely that shorter hair makes one look younger, more refreshed and the ease of the style is theraputic to me! I just wash and wear hair, put on a pair of pretty earrings if I want to, dab on some red or pink lipstick and I'm ready to go anywhere ! Totally love your hair cut too, that blonde pixie with the side bangs is truly amazing and you look just like a doll... absolutely beautiful ! Thanks for this wonderful video, when my hair grows out I want to get your style too, I want to lighten my hair as I have gray and I think that blonde at the top is a gray way to lighten up gradually! Either that or in my case instead of blonde add some silver highlights at the top. Love love your channel, you're so amazing and love the cheerfulness in both your spirits !

Lainarie In the video I go into a lot of detail about what I’m doing and the products I’m using… When you’re at home styling it yourself it’s so simple. I’m able to style my hair and under five minutes from totally wet to completely done. I did use a few different products on her, but it was very minimal amounts of each one… They all work together to really make a huge difference. Over the last few months I have been watching your UA-cam videos for cutting pixie hair styles for older women, and I love them! I have worn my hair short for many years, and have been isolating this past year and my hair has grown quite long and I hate it. I was very excited when it grew long enough to put up in a pony tail! I have just gotten my second Covid vaccine and I have an appointment to get my hair cut just as soon as my 2 weeks more of quarantine are up! I have taken some pictures of your video's to take with me to the hair dresser. (I would love to come to you but I live in OK, and I think you live pretty far away!) I have similar color (salt and pepper--much more salt, though), and similar build. Thought I'd hate it, but it is really adorable. Much, much, much better than the before (which is where I am now). Seeing this, maybe, just maybe I will get brave enough to do the same.
Since we're in quarantine, my hair has turned into a chia pet head. Lol Ordered clippers, which were hard to find, and next Thursday I'm doing my hair short like it usually is. The worst scenario is I end up wearing my winter hat for the next 3 months! Hahaha! Melanie, just go for it, it will grow back! 😊❤

You may like it, but ask yourself if you can do the up keep!, Short hair can look very untidy if not kept in the way that is was cut to be styled!

I had 21” cut off a few years ago. Loved having short hair and all the comments of how much younger I looked. I felt younger too. Will never go back to long hair after 50 years of it.
