RaDona decided to cut her hair dry so you can be able to see this. This is a perfect
haircut for people with thin hair. The client has fine hair and thin. This hairstyle is going to help her with her hair to appear thicker. This haircut is like having a “hair lift”. For this hairstyle, it is going to get rid of the bulk, stack it with a bob, and have the top lift. It is an A line asymmetrical hairstyle for thin hair. RaDona starts by looking at her hairline. She is cutting the hair so the client doesn’t have to deal with the back. The hairstyle is going to make the client feel “lifted”. She then parts the hair by the ears. She is going to cut her hair pretty tight. About half an inch. This haircut is a super easy haircut. A perfect haircut for women over 60. She pulls the hair back using the underneath hair as a guide. Why do people insist that women over a certain age should wear their hair a certain way? When I'm over 60, I'm gonna wear my hair any damn way I please. No one tells me what to do. LOL
I'm now over 60 and I'm doing the same!

I thought the same thing. But hair does its own thing as a woman ages. Menopause is a major change to hair texture and thickness. If you go on blood pressure medication or heart medication at some point in your life, or medication for some other condition(s), that can and often also does affect your hair too. You will find that as you age, your hair growth generally slows down, you will slowly (or quickly) start to see more silver (if you're lucky) or crap gray (if you're not so lucky) and in addition, your face starts sagging and bagging despite your best efforts. Your skin may still be in very good condition because you've taken good care of it over the years, but that doesn't stop the muscles from sagging, your eyelids crinkling, your eyebrows drooping, your forehead developing some wrinkles, and yes - the dreaded jowls. If you want to waste money every 3 or 4 years and have cosmetic surgery until you run out of money or you die, go right ahead, but most of us can't afford and don't want to follow that option even if we could afford it. YUCK. At some point, you end up looking like you have a plastic face, I've seen far too many women do that to themselves. Hair can tend to develop a wave or even a curl as you age, especially if you have it cut shorter and in layers. Mine definitely did, even as it thinned out. Stick straight and fine most of my life, but I had plenty of hair on my head and it looked good with the right kind of shaping cut. But now - forgeddabout it! If you want to cover thinning/balding spots, you do whatever you can with haircut and product rather than resorting to wigs/hair pieces! Shorter hair styles can work easier with those kinds of issues. It's just the reality that you may well face yourself some day, unless you're that one in 100 million who never goes gray, never drops a hair out of her head despite being on 100 different meds, and looks fabulous in your 90s - like you're 30. Yeah, right. Rutsa ruck!
The beautiful thing is that everyone has a choice and you can do what works best for you. No one is insisting you should wear your hair a certain way! This cut works great for her hair and she loves it. Love and joy to you in the new year!
@@jannibal9273 Hilarious and so true. I have turned 60 and I have the jowls, the loosening of the skin on face , the line around my eyes etc. I wore my hair shoulder length for years and longer in the back.
Now I have it touching my shoulders with layers that make my hair look fuller and it looks better now I'm aging.
I have a receding hair line and try to remember to use products that make it grow back.
Sometimes going shorter can make you look more youthful in my opinion.
Personally I like the cut she did and it does what she wanted it too, added fullness and volume.

It looks nice my son getting married Feb 29 but I had my hair short like the hair dresser and I had it like the lady in the chair. But after you leave it never looks the same because it's hard to do the back of your hair by your self I finally let it grow it's done to my shoulders now I have more compliments now strangers my neighbors saying oh my God I love your hair longer who never talk to me before lol I think I'm just going to get a trimmed but I have to wear my hair up for the wedding cuz that's what they asked me to put my hair up if you like this hairstyle you should share it and I'll go on your Facebook and then you can show the purse and if they can do the same style for you but I would get it done the morning of the wedding so it looks like that cuz trust me when you have thin hair and you go home and try to do it yourself it never looks the same
Make a hair appointment the same day of the wedding and then show this clip so it will look like that that day

I didn't discover I had wavy hair until the birth of my 3rd child. Boom.... wavy.... but I like it. My hair is a little thicker than the model, but the style is very simple to maintain and I love my bob. And definitely nice to not have to mess much with the back as the stylist says. Gamechanger for me.

I had a serious open heart surgery 1 1/2 yrs ago. Value replacement and another leaky value. 69 now I’m 71. Very long story..a lot happened to me and also spiritual things. I have been a Christian for 40 years now. Short version..dr. Went through groin to repair a mitral valve because I had first replacement 8 yrs ago, due to a flu, 5 viral bugs, went into infection..should have died..so now, doc accidentally punctured a hole in my heart, next day..open heart surgery..that night I had severe stroke on both sides, left me a vegetative state, 7 grandmal seizures, induced coma,right side heart stopped pumping, had to go back to or and have a heart pump put back in..husband a d children said the doctor was doing all that they could..went to rebab..that was hell too. Just too much to write.thank you for listening..I am a miracle for sure…

I'm almost 70 and I'm not planning to cut my hair short ever. Shoulder length is most flattering.
Not everyone can wear their hair long, and absolutely nobody is insisting that you must cut it short at a certain age. However, as we age our hair does change and thin out and sometimes wearing a short ‘do is the best way to create style and have fun with your hair while making it look thicker and fuller. Do YOU and be happy... that’s all we can ever ask for!

My hair at the moment is about shoulder length. I have been very sick and have not been able to get to a hairdresser.
I have very fine, straight hair and it has gone mostly gray in the front. I am told that it is a beautiful shade. I am 70 years old.
Before becoming ill I wore my hair just like the cut you gave your client. Doe to meds I gained 30 pounds and my face looks very round. I am afraid that a short cut would accentuate the roundness of my face. Do you have any suggestions you could please give me? My hair... fine, thin, & dry also used to be naturally curly then straightened after having my son now the “ frizz” from natural curl is back but not the curl. Menopause really screwed my hair up! LOL This cut & Style looks great & looks so thick & full. Beautiful.😊👍🏻
