Today I think they call it The Bixie which made its way back during pandemic. I’ve had several stylists try it on me but always have trouble getting the bulk out because I have thick hair, I always end up thinning it out myself. Hi Summer! This is such an adorable cut. Wish I could pull off this shorter style. I’m older but short hair doesn’t flatter my face, unfortunately. I prefer mine around shoulder length with layers & some face framing…just wish the stylists would cut into the layers the correct way to create more fullness and movement like you do. You take the time to create beautiful cuts and your attention to detail is impeccable. 💗

Beautiful cut. I have a soft wave in my hair and I want the layers to create volume as my hair is rather fine. I really like Olaplex 4P. It gives a good tone but is not super drying. My favorite one to color deposit is Moroccan Oils. It's awesome for toning out yellow but it is extremely drying.

I would say you want shorter and more textured in the back than a bob, that you have the option to flip out some with the blow dry. Cutting around the ears some, but not fully over where you can still tuck. You can always pull up the video and show her what it looks like after the fact.
I love this style but i was wondering.... Would this work as a cut for the base of someone who has their hair put in rollers for that combed through "round" hairstyle you see on elderly women?
