I don't buy into the foolish n I ti I n that women must cut their hair short once they reach certain age , but then again I have always marched to the beat of a different drummer , I don't expect to change now at 67 years young.
67 is not old. I knew a lady around 92 still drove herself to church. When pastor suggested that my son mow her lawn we went to her house, she said oh no I cut my own lawn !@@debc315

So that's why you need someone to use their skill and by using their talent inspire that woman to do whatever else needs to be done to be more presentable
@stephaniezickgraf9672 I gave up on hairdressers a long time ago, I was a licensed hairdresser and barber myself . They mostly have hearing problems with their hearing as in they do what they want. I love my long Grey hair . I cut my bangs and love how easy it is to just let it air dry. I don't use any styling products and I don't care if my ends are a little dry.

At 71, I am still a bit meticulous with my hair. When after I am not satisfied with my hair done I don't return to that hairdresser. I would try to find another, and another until I find the "One" to at least do my hair nice enough.

I have been a hairdresser since 1966 & this young man has far to go! I am 74 years young. I wear my hair the same way as he made her style but this is the first haircut of this kind that I have ever seen. The only difference is I wear a duck tail at the nape. I would love to have him cut my hair sometime. I wonder what Salon & what city he works in? I hope he continues to refresh his skills & learn new ones. He will go far in this profession!

His care and attention to her snd drtail with his skills is wonderful BUT when she gets home sleeps on it and eventually has to wash it she won't have thr styling skills. She will have generic short short hair like so many. She had a full head of healthy hair Why why the cut???? Just my opinion
As a senior citizen 72, I really like your scissor work. Far too many just use clippers. She was already a lovely woman. This haircut showed how beautiful she truly is. The neckline looks fabulous. Just because we are older doesn't mean we don't care how we look.
Yes using clippers is lazy! I am 77 and last time was cut with clippers, heck I can do that myself! Not going back there. This was an excellent cut and style.

Oh wow!! I have been to so many hairdressers to get this style but I haven't found one that can do it as amazingly as you. I wish you were near me I would be there in a flash.
I always had long hair, then shoulder length and then shorter and finally bit the bullet and got this style. Went from an hour styling to 5 minutes and the 5 minute styling looks better than the long drawn out one for long/medium hair lengths. Absolutely loved this hair style and actually got it a week before I saw this video. The amazing freedom of being able to wash your hair without using cream rinse and blow drying it in less then 2 minutes is liberating! It takes me from shower to styling in 5 minutes. I even have my poofiness for heighth on top that makes me feel fluffy. LOVE this style.
Nice to see somebody cut scissor over comb properly for a change, I was trained originally as a barber and this was the way we were taught to layer hair. Good job

Blow dryers didn't become popular till I was 18-19. We didn't grow up with a blow dryer in our hands like Gen X did. We Boomers have mobility problems doing some trendier hairstyles ourselves. Don't come for me Girl. Climb off your high horse and you might learn something
A master at work! He used scissors to cut. Apparently, this is a sign of an expert. Many hairdressers start with an electric trimmer first before using scissors. But that’s a sign of either laziness or someone not as skilled, or both. Love the haircut! I wish you could do my hair.
I have had my hair in this style for 30 years. I am 70 now. My hairdresser takes such a lot of trouble and she makes it really sharp and stylish. Bless you, Ami. 🥰 Maybe just a bit shorter than this lady’s cut, but I get so many compliments. Always had it ice blonde until it turned white. Always put a few drops of baby oil on my hands and rub it through to give shine. This stylist is taking a lot of trouble, too and making sure the lady looks her best.

His care and attention to her snd drtail with his skills is wonderful BUT when she gets home sleeps on it and eventually has to wash it she won't have thr styling skills. She will have generic short short hair like so many. She had a full head of healthy hair Why why the cut???? Just my opinion

As a senior citizen 72, I really like your scissor work. Far too many just use clippers. She was already a lovely woman. This haircut showed how beautiful she truly is. The neckline looks fabulous.

I always had long hair, then shoulder length and then shorter and finally bit the bullet and got this style. Went from an hour styling to 5 minutes and the 5 minute styling looks better than the long drawn out one for long/medium hair lengths.
Absolutely loved this hair style and actually got it a week before I saw this video. The amazing freedom of being able to wash your hair without using cream rinse and blow drying it in less then 2 minutes is liberating! It takes me from shower to styling in 5 minutes. I even have my poofiness for heighth on top that makes me feel fluffy. LOVE this style.

@priscilla ashton appropriate meaning that it will be easy to maintain by herself. I am a 69 yo woman Boomer who's dealt with trendy haircuts that were too hard for me to replicate. Blow dryers didn't become popular till I was 18-19. We didn't grow up with a blow dryer in our hands like Gen X did. We Boomers have mobility problems doing some trendier hairstyles ourselves.

A master at work! He used scissors to cut. Apparently, this is a sign of an expert. Many hairdressers start with an electric trimmer first before using scissors. But that’s a sign of either laziness or someone not as skilled, or both. Love the haircut! I wish you could do my hair.

I have had my hair in this style for 30 years. I am 70 now. My hairdresser takes such a lot of trouble and she makes it really sharp and stylish. Bless you, Ami. 🥰 Maybe just a bit shorter than this lady’s cut, but I get so many compliments. Always had it ice blonde until it turned white. Always put a few drops of baby oil on my hands and rub it through to give shine. This stylist is taking a lot of trouble, too and making sure the lady looks her best.
