I am American woman from Fort Worth, Texas. I have a special place in my heart for Mexicans. My son lived in Veracruz for 6 years. When he came back home to Texas, he told me how they supported him because he was so close to them. He really liked this city and this country I hope to visit the city and the country again.Great video. Thank you

Hello, thanks for sharing my home state, I’m from Xalapa living in Wisconsin since I was a teen, please don’t forget to go south Veracruz, San Andres Tuxtla and visiting it’s surrounding areas like Catemaco, Roca partida, Nanciyaga, you guys will love it, thank you and keep enjoying Mexico.
You right Luis Zárate 🙄😅 whole Country is Amazing starting with the first Seattle City in America , I also I'm worked for around 16 years in Milwaukee Wisconsin , but I had to come back to my Mother Land Veracruz Port to see my 4 Siblings and Family 😅👍🏾😎
My first trip to Veracruz I stayed at Hotel Macombo on the beach... walking the shoreline and "bobbing the waves" was amazing... For a small fee we had day use of the area with showers after the salty swim. also enjoyed the Aquarium and the people diving for coins... dancers and more! the second time I went it was a little different with even more people! I always loved it there! Thanks for bringing back great memories!!
I wanna thank you guys for exploring my beautiful country and for taking the time to explain its history.. people like you will always be welcomed in Mexico 🇲🇽

I went there before I came to the US. I think it was late 70’s That place is hot and humid! I was drinking cold water all day until a local told me to get a hot coffee and that did it! Nice to see this city again through your video. Thank you.

This is Paul.......& Gloria in Oaxaca. Like all your videos, it was a good one. Gloria said you just give so much information, not to mention, the wonderful chemistry between you two. You make things fun. The title said "not what we expected" and I was wondering what you expected? I went to carnival 2x, 50 years ago. Like a student, I slept on the beach and another night in a room with too many people. Although I had a wonderful time at carnival, Veracruz did not float my boat. It was just too hot, mucky, and oily for me. On the plus side, it's a working City, not so dependent on tourism for its survival. Generally speaking, we like Central Highland Mexico more because of the climate. Also, for some reason I didn't get your preview as to where you were going to be and I was looking for it. Hopefully, you'll go to Cordova or Jalapa before you leave Veracruz?
Hey there! Oh the previews are always under the community tab! Well before we went we have heard to not expect much, some even said that it wasn’t worth going to. But I really wanted to see the port and feel the history and I’m so glad we did. You can’t always listen to people because their experiences aren’t your own. I’ll admit the first day we were kind of taken aback by all the dilapidated buildings but once interacting with the locals and letting it all settle in it really grew on us! Yes it’s very hot and muggy, but it’s all part of the experience. Thanks 🙏 for watching! Wishing you both a wonderful day! And how cool you got to experience carnaval there.
You guys always catch my interest with the delicious foods you share... that shrimp cocktail and seafood experience looked awesome. It seems like a happening place with the aquarium, museum and many beaches. It looks pretty busy there and I love seeing all the vendors. "A sugar fiesta in my mouth" hahahah too good.
More Mexico magic! Those tour vehicles are wild and dreamlike! The milk pour - amazing! Not a drop out of place! When you think of ports and port cities it's hard to imagine them being so CLEAN! Really, really nice - even got perfectly timed storms!f

@@TheCountryCollectors I recommend the tecajetes park, it is a park near the center and has great vegetation and a spring, Xalapa in the Nahuatl language means spring in the sand, I also recommend the Xalapa Anthropology Museum, it is the second most important museum after the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. There is also the botanical garden of the institute of ecology, it was recently considered one of the best botanical gardens in North America

Wow; the owners are hand tieded when they want to renovate the building because the Goverment requires some specific terms and that makes it high in price to do so. Those buildings are being held as a National heritage but they are in bad shape about to collapse. New malls in Boca del río make less economy flowing in the old City. 😮 😢
You guys are awesome! I look forward to Sundays just to watch your videos!! Thanks for bringing some happiness to my life. Have a GLORIOUS time in Veracruz.

@@enriquekromero6390 WOW! Thank you!
Wow; the owners are hand tieded when they want to renovate the building because the Goverment requires some specific terms and that makes it high in price to do so. Those buildings are being held as a National heritage but they are in bad shape about to collapse. New malls in Boca del río make less economy flowing in the old City. 😮 😢
I almost feel like i travel with yu guys hehe nice vids always supoorting 🤟🏻🤟🏻
That’s awesome!

Hi!! Oh that’s awesome to hear! I (Heidi) have been told I talk very slow and sometimes robotic lol 😂 I don’t think so… but maybe. I think that helps with your learning though so that’s good! 💕👍

What a smart and nice couple, congratulations. I think you made one of the best videos about Veracruz for foreign tourism, you can see is a simply pretty city like all tropical cities.
Wow that is so nice of you to say!
@@TheCountryCollectors I trully mean it, the same with your Xalapa video and the next I will watch. You deserve global awards for your work, congratulations!
💕🇲🇽💕🇲🇽
Oh nice! I visited in 2009. Very beautiful, the best ice cream! The dancing at night, marimba music, the Wax museum, the aquarium, the fortress. Lots of live music! I only missed a trip to the ruins and the Gran Cafe La Parroquia.
Very cool 😎 thank you for sharing that with us!

Welcome to Veracruz ❤️
Gracias!!
You two are delightful..your videos are informative .. ot watching you eat a day or tour your stay like real estate agents .just showing the features of the city. Thank you ❤️
Thank you for joining us!
Great stuff, folks! There is so much I can tell you, I don't know where to begin and won't.
Thank you.
Great video as always, I think you saw a lot of old buildings and houses for sale because Veracruz is moving to a most modern áreas like Boca del Río and many other projects, are you going to Xalapa or Córdoba next?
Oh I see. Thanks for sharing. I don’t think we will get to Córdoba but Xalapa and the surrounding Pueblo Magicos hopefully!
