    As usual my blueprints are available for free:

    No usual description, will add later.

    I found many of these tricks already, but you've shown me you can push it much further AND easier. I used much more complicated ways to achieve these compact setups with lifts, mergers and splitters. Yours are easier to place and even more compact. Well done!

    coated iron and coated steel plates are tragically underrated. the west coast of rocky desert with plastic and rubber supply from gold coast (the oil islands south west of rocky desert starting area) can be used with a whole bunch of alts to create massive amounts of basic products (refinery/assembler stuff).
    once you have the pure ingot recipes for refineries, diluted fuel for blender and recycled plastic+rubber, production go brrrrr

    Your blueprints are really cool man. Always fun to see. I'm still pretty limited in where i use my blueprints but you continue to inspire me to find some cool ways to incorporate them more! Super cool of you to offer them to everyone as well.

      Blueprints are cool period xD I doubt that I would be doing Satisfactory videos if not for the blueprints system! It such a great puzzle for factory layouts and really cool tool to experiment with some architecture. I love to see other people inspired and use blueprints even more!

    it's really interesting when you are showing some of the process of constructing the blueprint, as Im not that interested in just importing them, since that takes away from the game. But it would be nice to have a start to finish showcase with more details, since you left out some parts in the lowers floors. While you are doing mostly end-to-end blueprints some people are suggesting very universal blueprints like only smelters etc. Im drawing some comparisons to programming paradigms and I feel that it would be best to find middle ground between these two. For example for HMF it seems it would be best to have a blueprint for assembling more higher tier components from other blueprints that do their own dedicated job like modular frames. This means you can reuse your modules more often, having to create less blueprints. But for this it seems really important to be able to snap together the inputs and outputs of the blueprints together nicely without manually connecting belts etc., haven't found a good solution for that yet.

    Looking at your blueprints made me try to build a whole Nuclear setup using only modular buildings. I'm astonished how fast the construction is going but I'm using a different approach than you and focus on "universal" modules (ie. 1 blueprint for smelters&constructors which I then modify for each factory). I still need to optimize those based on what you've shown and try to achieve your numbers. 6 assemblers and 12 constructors is very impressive.

      @@Yakez42 Yes, exactly! Just managed to cram 15 smelters on one level (with half level logistics underneath). Now for constructors and assemblers and with 3 blueprints I can make most items in the game.

    First of all Greetings and best wishes for the New Year, and thanks so much for the videos and blueprints you do for the community.. I was also wondering if you would consider at some time doing a tour of your base, i know we see plenty in your vids but sort fleeting glimpses . I would dearly love to see some extended shots of your layout design. short of save file it is hard for me to get a clear idea of how you do your magic. Regardless truly grateful for what you do, thanks Peter

      Hey Peter, best wishes for the New Year too! There was an idea to make tours of my saves. I just put my main blueprint save on pause and went into more of a research mode in the last month or two. Just to many things I want to clear before making tours and stuff. I have barely scratched tier 7-8 with blueprints. Also I sort of want to reserve walking around for more of a talking head videos, since there is nothing else to show xD And actually one should be around the corner, maybe next week.

    Can you make some blue prints like. Smart plate and other basic stuff then we can build a city

    • @Yakez42
      @Yakez42  6 місяців тому

      That is an idea. I already have one set of everything below tier 7-8 with all prior videos. This is even more unique exteriors. I just not yet decided on some stuff. Do I continue my initial blueprint only world or do I do other save with main city in green biome. In the end it should be a part of city build. I am yet to finish my modular storage to make decision. And yep, there would be one more video where I make remote storage system. Now I have some art deco and this is more of a modern thing...

      To be fair, after designing a lot of blueprint factories, I would love to see 5x5 vanilla designer. It is fine when it comes to constructors, assemblers and smelters, but with blenders and manufacturers its a bit to restrictive at times.

    This is too compact to my liking with all that clipping of conveyor objects.

    • @Yakez42
      @Yakez42  6 місяців тому

      All soft clipping used in this print was intentional part of Update 5 back in the day. There is only one dodgy hard clipping place, that can be redone with prior knowledge. Like I get the point, but it is the part of the game and the only way to make things compact. Without soft clipping with 250% overclock something like ~40-50 RIP/min is more reasonable range to make with blueprints.

      @@Yakez42 Thank you for your response. Yes, the game allows it. I still don't like it.
      But it would have all been a lot easier if we'd had a 5x5 grid to work with. As you show, you need just a little bit more room to fit a little amount of buildings in a blueprint.

    • @Yakez42
      @Yakez42  6 місяців тому

      Yep 5x5 is my dream for everything that involves blenders, manufacturers and blueprints! While with smaller machines one can just drop production ratios, with bigger machinery it is not even a real option.
