- Hiking the Israel National Trail - Day 55
The edge of Dishon stream nature reserve. to a few miles away from Kfar Giladi. I can’t believe a fire broke out shortly after arriving at the museum, I was just happy everyone was ok. 21.7 miles hiked today.
Me and Di are hiking the Israel National Trail, a 1015km trail that goes straight through the heart of Israel. We are wild camping where we can and we’re heading south to north.
This is a daily Vlog series of our hiking adventure and I’m editing and uploading on the trail as I go along. I only have basic equipment (my phone) so apologies if the audio isn’t great in places. I’m just working with what I have.

Going to miss you guys
Aww thank you 💚 we will be vlogging more hikes in the future
Another beautiful upload my friend, this looks absolutely stunning! 👌🥾
That bit of trail sure looks like it could be a challenge, especially for us old folks. Lovely to find a group of humans to break bread with & restore faith in humanity. But 21.7 miles is outrageous. Just what will you do when you reach the end...may that never happen. I am afraid we are all spoiled by your journey. One Love from Boca. W.
So true
Thankyou for your kind words 😊 the plan is to keep hiking for the rest of the summer. The group we met were awesome especially as we were running low on food, they saved us 😊
Another amazing video, i like how you show the encounters with people.
This was my experience in Israel as well, people there like to share their food,
Israelies generaly like to engage with others 🙂
Once i was in Kfar Giladi with a group of bike riders, due to heavy rain we had to stay put,
so we went into this same museum as you were.
Take care, shalom.
It was a nice little museum it was a real shame we couldn’t explore it more but I’m happy the fire didn’t spread to the museum itself. My experience with Israelis is nothing but awesomeness 😊 they are all incredibly friendly and very helpful.
