Simon, this series is reminding me of your bicycle tour series. I love your documentary film style and your narration is my favorite. I can’t say thank you enough for all you do.
💯 agree. Forest is a rock star ⭐️ on lifestyle, cooking, mountain climbing only dimming when in comparison to Rocko’s light. Forest, will you please consider moving with a crew or at least someone else? Please tell us you carry one of those beacon thingies where people can find you. And again as a wire fox terrier owner I can 💯 say you picked the perfect breed for your lifestyle. They are relentless, loyal, fearless and happy dogs. She will make your life if she hasn’t already.
That has to be about the shittiest hike I've ever seen anyone take. Grizzly bears, constant bugs, slogging through freezing water and sticky mud. Full credit to you FF for fully 'embracing the suck' of this hike, and thanks for taking us with you!
My wife and two other women spent a week navigating their way across the volcanic moonscape of Mt Edziza back in 2011. Just after starting the trek she came down with some sort of a stomach bug but managed to complete the backpack. It was a wild time seeing caribou and bears, they even managed to get lost at one point. The ladies arrived at Telegraph Creek 6 days later and called across, as instructed, for their prearranged boat ride over the mighty Stikine River. She was 58 at the time. Pretty proud of that girl.
I love the regular ten- to fifteen-minute videos, but this was epic, and it made total sense to do it as a single video. Thanks for all your hard work, Simon. I am always conscious that for every trip you take, you've also got to set up all the shots and take the footage that is later transformed into these experiences. It must be exhausting, and it's much appreciated.
Amen & Ditto to Everything that’s said about you Simon ! I admire your dedication, skill, courage, love & perseverance making these videos. Appreciate your hard work & inconveniences bringing them to life. Thank you for the awe & joy you give us when you publish

Something I've noticed while watching some of your very early videos is your vocal change. I can tell, through my profession, when someone's vocal pattern is strained from talking too much. Early in your career on this channel, by the end of the day you were struggling. Nowadays you talk all day without much problems. It might be only a little thing to most, unnoticed by the majority, but it's another accomplishment on your long journey. This was a great watch. Thanks, Simon.

With the quality of your filming and editing, the effort you put in for the good shots, if you released this in the theatre, I would pay to see it and I wouldn't be the only one. People are really hungry for REAL reality over acting and you are the best at it on UA-cam in my opinion. Thank You So Much for all of your hard work.

Bloody epic mate. What an adventure, you're a god damn legend.
That bridge crossing sounded intense, bro! Can't believe you squeezed the van through there.

What an adventure! Terriers are terrific little companions. Your description of Rocko is perfect. You sure do some scary stuff and you have me on the edge of my seat sometimes. Excellent video. Stay safe!
