I've been having some fun as mag sorc. Monolith of storms front bar, storm cursed body, maelstrom perfect lighting, and ring of pale order. Made it to 4-4-1 solo

Interesting. Kinda surprised that status warden wasn't on the list. I like the templar build with all the shields, I'll have to check it out.
Damn the magicka nighblade reminds me a bit of my old hybrid healer build. I think my brother will be glad to profit from the Earthgore heal again.
I've been owning the archives with infinity. Going to try NovA shield next.

I have a challenge for you, something I haven't seen anyone ever do yet. Make a build that can survive that doesn't use any guild skills and no monster sets or dungeon/trial sets, craftable and overland sets only.
I already did it and it works. Did arc 3 first day easily solo. No dungeon, trial, overland gear. No guild skills. Only craftable setup. Basic skills
@@SimplyRespectful What sets were you wearing? I've been trying something with a Mag Temp and it's not working so well. Pub Dungeons I have no problem, world Boss's can be a struggle but doable, but a regular dungeon is insta death from any boss. Some of the sets I've been messing around with are Orders Wrath, Mother's Sorrow, Law of Julianos, and Magnus' Gift. I either end up being a glass cannon or can't doing any serious damage. Of course it is possible I just suck 🤣😂🤣😂🙃

I can easily get a MagSorc to Arc5/6 solo. Just use Sergeant, Oaken, Slimecraw and a flex heavy/med set depending on what visions you get.
Stam Arcanist is strong, with purple gear and Oakensoul I've managed to get passed the 2nd Arc, however its true weakness is when the Marauder shows up. On most occasions he's show up, you're dead. This build doesn't do well when he just fists you for a large amount of damage and are stunned.
I've had the most trouble solo'ing the fire marauder. Beat him with pugs and mainly with my DK tank.
Because dual wield is not the way to go here. U want a lightning staff and a couple ability changes so u can kite.. Got up to Arc 4 on an oaken stam arcanist
Im running an oaken magicka arc with deadly and got extra shielding from hexos ward plus using the runic defence shield as an extra shield when the marauder shows up, as well as using pragmatic fatecarver for the shielding and ceph for the bit of extra healing. The final skill im running is evolving runemend. It’s been a pretty survivable build. But the dps is a bit lower so at the end of arc 3, it’s quite hard to do the boss. 😢

Questing about magica sorc would sergeants + orders wrath with the skill critical surge a good option? My only goal is to see how far and fast I can get within a hour I know it's weird but I just love orders wrath set

I have a question I use to play this game of ps4 in which I have a high level character. But I have an Xbox series x now how can I be self sufficient like build armor and potion. I really so not want to rely on other players.

YOu have any videos of these setups in arch 4-5. I notice youin arch 1 Arch 1-2-3. I personally runn, DK-Warden and Necro. Other classes seem too squishy, or lack damage when you beef them up. I will def try the Templar since it seems like no one has a build I feel will work. I normally get to Arch 6-7 max when I solo. I wont run past arch 1 without getting Focused Efforts at least 1 per arch.
I rewatched the section repeatedly and read the written guide repeatedly and still can’t find an answer, what do I do for attribute points on magsorc?
Would using a single bar magicka Templar build with companion set up as a tank or healer be a good combo for those who just can't quit get two bar builds down

Is there any changes in gameplay between duos and solo?? Or is it the same amount of ads with the same damage for both
same everything which makes soloing very hard if not unfair at times i wish it was optimised for solo so far ive maed it to arc 3 cycle 4 stage 2 everything hits hard from there on some bosses can be unfair solo for example some of the marauders and if you use companion you will be doing a duo run according to the game which is stupid
How are you getting this build to 8K health recovery? I've created this set with all the exact gear here and I'm only at 5400 Health Recovery with a full Ultimate Bar. What am I missing?? Also, let me ask you something else. When I first did the build, just standing there, I was at 5400. That's without any potions. Now, for some reason, my health recovery dropped to 3700 and then down to 3600. What's going on? Why would it drop like that when I'm not even doing anything?

Love to get your thoughts on my solo Templar running 5 pieces of leeching plate on the body and 5 deadly necklace ring and head plus oakensoul ring.one handed weapon and shield. i can solo just about anything i need world bosses 4 man dengeons {nor or vet} wven soloed normal DSR

hows the damage, what are the stats allocation for stam mag and hp, what stones do you use (divine for example)?
For any heavy attack build here don't forget about 10 seconds empower buff that you get from casting any mages guild ability (like scalding rune) + 70% heavy attack damage never hurts!
Oakensoul ring already gives you empower

Hi new player here, best class for dps role?
For arcanist, it really doesn't matter (much) what you stack as far as your skills go... So if you stack Magica, instead of stamina, it gives you some more options and more flexibility. For example, I've worked myself up from running deadly paired with first orders wraith, then piller of nirn, then ansuls torment, then coral riptide... each step has given me more damage. If you stack magica instead of stamina, maintaining the 33% base stamina required to maximize the bonus from Riptide is fairly trivial. Even if I have to pop a tri-stat to get my flails off, I'm usually firing the beam at about 40%.
Not exactly new-player friendly, but it's decidedly worth working towards.

look up the ice storm one bar for magica warden by HTM, i use the back bar for heal build in veteran dungeon. and can solo some World bosses at CP level 940.

It would probably fall around #6 for me. Still good, just a bit more buff/skill management needed. But if you like it definitely play it!
Necro set looks like a really good defensive set in PVP.
Necromancer is not losing at all. It is actually doing good. Harder than other classes (they just have way better passives, skills) but you can solo or duo it no problem.
@@SimplyRespectful Mad passive heals with spirit and tether. Love mine in PVP, but I find it lacking in pve
Edit: I have a Magcro who is the opposite. My Stamcro is junk.
A sad reality I’m coming to - if you want to go deep in the archive (arc 7 and up), you gotta tank the fuck up. Im talking your only damage comes from passive damage over time - every move you make is meant for survival
Oaksoul arcanist seems like a total waste. Most of the buffs are easy enough to get 100% uptime on except for empower, which you dont really use. Use velothi ur-mage amulet for more damage. The reduced light and heavy damage doesnt really matter since most of the time you're just holding the beam. Also ring of the pale order could be an awesome replacement for survivability.
Do Bosses in the archives drop their specific monster sets like in dungeons ?

What I don't get is you are throwing away the best single spell oakensorc has, the crit that heals you, which does basically 3500-7000 heal on every enemy you crit but you use the useless ball skill. Also is it just me that gets his imp dead every fucking time I get to a final boss? Like zos did some shit that shouldn't happen and it keeps dying instant to aoe (while usually it probably has passive aoe reduction as a pet).
Also dumb question, is using a useless companion automatically make your endless a duo and thus harder?
Also since you have a lot of ads even on final bosses, isn't sul-xan >> order's wrath? I plan on making another sul-xan set just to replace order on my ww sorc solo, should try ww also, even tho those mini bosses usually spawn and come and hit me once to kill me (good job ZOS)

I liked my plague break/ deadly strike set on my dk. Back when burning embers healed 100% of all damage done.
well. I tried novashield build. Cant say its really strong.
But. 1- i'm just 350cp, 2 - I have not iceheart yet. So I understand that finaly it shall be better.
And.., i still doesnt found it even potentially stronger or even equal to my leeching(body)+bahraha+grothdarr set, weapons: axeshield+ice stuff. You literally almost cant to die in licheraha build in 99% of situations. when you solo vet dungeons - you can just drink your coffee and enemies, bosses, etc will kill themselves against my armor.
As a bonus you can to go to dungeons as a tank or healer. And its fine if your dd sucks. Because your damage is..just fine. Nothing great, but fine.
And i'd sad - novashield is cool, if it has more damage than leechiraha, but its not. more or less the same, sometimes even worse.
But by the way old hybrid templar felt better than nova..
But who knows, maybe i'm wrong and nooby. And maybe some pro'd say it makes 999999dps and have the same survivability as my build in a good hands. However my build doesnt reqire "good hands" i can play it usuin' my left leg only. And I even made it on ps xD
but really what the point of novashield? I like an idea of that build, but it feels as somethin' weird. Much less damage than dps, much less survivability than solotank.

Honestly, the bar is set way to high, if you need to be a tank to complete the introductory quest, the thing is broken. I understand that each round scales up, Scales up from what? total annihilation.
I solo most if not all world bosses, I solo at least 50% group dungeons, I soloed all but one group quest in Craglorn. And for the first time, I soloed the endless dungeon; then failed at the end boss. This thing is broken, for a Two player dungeon, you need to be a tank or 8 other players to beat the end boss in round one, and you say it only gets harder from there. For a Two player dungeon or 1 plus sidekick, It is way over the top.
Failed at the end boss you mean the arc 1 boss, thoat? You just need to learn the mechanics and the fight is a breeze tbh. Can be done on a low hp dps as well as anything else. Granted a low hp dps will defo fall off later on but completing arc 1 is not over the top at all

@@razzaqi9912 you cant beat it solo after the second Arc. The archive has absolutely horrible scaling. It is broken, its not fun, and its just a fucking chore to get through. Going past arc 3 requires an obnoxiously strong build, and then good RNG for visions and what bosses you get. Just taking out a Marauder in arc 3 is near impossible.
The archive is a huge swing and a miss.

This shows only till arc 2... If those builds are so amazing and viable why not show it in arc 4+ ? Also pretty sure some DK and warden builds are wayyy better than any of these since they dominate IA.

Useless video. You can go through the archive without sets. It all comes down to wandering bosses, who at some point in time just kill you with a light attack. And I can't imagine how to do it without a tank build. But then you will really endlessly go through the archive.

Yeah! Make a build for "new players"... That havent invested 10 yrs into the game.. every guide i see, theres a beginner build, but its a long stretch farm to get there.. im still playing "my own build" 4 weeks in, because i cant put together the build ive been aiming for...
и в чем же это бест билды ? в абсолютно любом говне можно дойти до 4-0-0, а ты не показываешь даже геймплей после 2-0-0 (кроме ласт билда и то пару сек всего)
