one of the rune blade abilites the shuriken one it generates you cruxes go for the one that does aoe and you will always have cruxes on your arcanist for prismatic rune carver cast it 3 times then use prismatic fate carver to finish up and that is your general rotation for magika your other abilities are utility and always use the abilities that buff or allow you to deal additional damage in your rotation if built right and used right you should be consistantly doing dps also do not use pure mag or stam Arcanist make them a magstam hybrid if made right even by the time you run out of magika your stamina should be full then use stam attacks and by the time your stam is depleted your magika would be full again

A fun alternative for Stamina Warden: 2W/Destro Staff. A few CP tweaks to help with magicka pool and voilá, 90k dps easy. I dont like the new 2W/2H meta so i figured a Destro Staff would look nice for the back bar since the atribute/damage update and it works fine for a full stam build, while also being fun to play!
I also play a khajiit nightblade due to the stealth. With the shadow skill and stealth radius passives, not to mention gear and pots you become a ghost and can avoid so many fights while questing if you want
Oh shit playing a StamWard and I quite like it. I got Chill, Poison, Bleed, Hemorrhage, Flame and Magicka damed over time with it. Ive got the ring which heals for 20% of all damage done, so those DOTs heal me a lot. Anyway, I think it works... I dont remember the names so Im sorry, but I've got that Venom something set from Western Skyrim which gets poison AOE on crit damage, so my Stampede already have a small DOT and will always poison targets in AOE around the main target, I use the Fecherfly which debuffs in minor vulnerability and deals a small DOT too. Then I use the Carve to get some bleed damage going, that AOE ice spike ability to give Chill to enemies, Twin Slashes to get Hemorrhage, and flame enchantments on my weapon to add some more DOTs. For buffing I get those mushrooms which burst heals and also increases stam recovery, the Netch to give major weapon and spell damage buffs, Blade Cloak to get major evasion and also another small DOT, The Lotus to get 20% more crit chance. So that's it... maybe it's a bit lackluster in comparison go others... but I can really survive a lot of encounters and deal a lot of DoT, and with that ring I forgot the name, I got a ton of passive heals as I damage the enemy.

I love my necro! Yes the recent changes nerfed it hard but the reason i like to play it is because it has the highest action per minute ratio, also when you get used to the corpse mechanics you just can't play another class. I do play the other classes as well but necro feels perfect. I like the arcanist but I've no time to farm skill lines all over again.
Thank you for a great intro to current great solo classes. 👍 As a returning player (after about a year's absence) I needed this descriptive list in order to get more up-to-date with where each class is at, and for inspiration. I'll probably return and watch through the video again before making my final choice. ^^
I'm an absolute noob in this game, but something I run FOR FUN, maybe it's shit when number crunching, but I love my Stam Necroarcher Probably it's shit, but majority of abilities I run leave a DoT, and general rotation and using the skills always feels really rewarding. Not much healing for solo stuff, but it's fun as hell xd
For solo content, I've been very happy with my Mag Sorc, Mag Arcanist, Stam Nightblade, and Stam Templar. I got tired of Mag Warden being so clunky and I respec'ed to Stam, and it is still just as bad. Wardens have the coolest description on the intro screen and are no where near as enjoyable to play compared to any other class, for me at least.
For magica arcanist, you should still be using the stam flail. It's not bad for sustain and it lets you very easily manage the stam requirements for Coral Riptide. Arcanist is absolutely insane for this hybrid build. It's not better than a stam build, but it's perfectly viable.
I must be missing it but the Stam Arc you show in S tier looks to be using duel weild/bow build but I cannot find such a build on your site. Am I missing something?
I really hate to give up my RP, I've come to love the warden class. If I change class, I'm gonna have to redecorate my home/buy another home. I don't enjoy the feel of the other classes, it's just not my thing. I've built a Stamblabe for PVP, but I only play it during PVP Events. I mainly play solo, cause I hate conforming to vet trial requirements, people act as if these requirements are the "be all and end all". I just wish the new features in u41 is gonna help this class at least achieve a decent solo build boost.
@@coreybroussard5264 One more thing I forgot to mention in my comment is that, I hate frost in the warden class. It is awful for role play. Why in the ef would they come up with nature based class and then throw up frost in it in a whim? It doesn't makes sense and it is not immersive. I play Frost Magden for both pve solo and pvp, the builds are saved in my armory, but I am only forced to play it cause it's the only effective build. I feel heavy playing those builds during trials or arena or IA. I always think, this doesn't makes sense and it's stupid af. Hence my stamblade, just a "ganker" indeed, at least I enjoy it cause it makes sense.
I'm just returning after years away, the reason I quit in the first place was because of the 6 monthly nerfs to the sorc. At the moment they seem to have moves a few things around that help overcome some of the nerfs they did so back to may mag sorcs :) :)
The problem with Mag Necro is it is just clearly inferior to Mag Sorc in some hugely important ways. One Bar Mag Sorc is just so powerful and has 2 things Necro doesn't, a spammable burst heal and a shield. Many times in a veteran trial I end up just soloing the final boss after the group all dies if I'm on my one bar Mag Sorc.
you can use a DOT build on Magsorc and still not die if you have half decent rotation. its so good you can do vet malstrome at min req on console(1st gen xbox one) over wifi. just keep crit surge up and dont drop your shield.
Awesome video! I would like to see which class can pour out the best DPS, whether it's parse dummy, dungeons or trials. I've seen stam sorc hitting 140k plus dps on parses and it's crazy.
I main mag necro. I don't have any issues with sustainability, damage or healing. I thought the class was pretty good. Sad too see so low he is on list. I guess you don't know how bad you have it if you never had anything better.
I'm actually loving the change as a magcro, switched to the HA build (always wanted to be able to be one) and it's great. Way more chill playstyle and I'm getting to use the scythe skill again after years off my bar (yay!)
Hey Hack, what are your thoughts on a new player like myself that really likes the nightblade aesthetic but wants to play a purely ranged character? I heard magicka nightblade can work with pure range, but that it's not nearly as effective as really any other ranged build. I don't care to PvP but I do want to be able to get into higher end PvE content when I learn the game more. I'm a big mage fan in most MMORPG's but sorcerer just doesn't seem appealing to me. I get thrown off when I see all the magicka nightblade builds playing at close range because of the skills they use, so it doesn't even feel like a caster to me, which I'm sure is intended by design, but there's something about it that is visually attractive to me.
You can still make ranged mag NB work using swallow soul as a spammable. You still have ranged execute, ranged DOTs, etc. For ultimate choice, use Destro Ult or Shooting Star.
@@HackTheMinotaur Thank you, Hack, this advice is golden! As a returning player whose only level 50 character (with little over 300 cp) is a Nightblade, I've spent the past 10 days or so completely confused and trying to figure out how it is with all the new stuff and deciding how to re-spec him, as well as where to put the cp points in the respective star constellations. - Now I have a starting point to work from... Thanks again!...
I'm goinjg with Templar as my very first ESO character. I want to try the magicka Templar. Are there guides on how to build it? Thanks for such great content.
gonna try the necro one bar looks good i like necro anyway despite it being weaker than most it has good stuff in it id say its great to see the new blastbones morph getting some love
Stam blade makes sense for being A tier in all honesty, ive only ever played stam blade and ive found soloing stuff to be relatively easy lmao I did recently make a mag warden tho which was hell to figure out as ive never played another character and I've never played a mag character
Kind of confused why stamwarden is so low. I’ve been blasting through group content while solo on my stamwarden no problem. I use a 2 handed weapon on my front bar and bow on my back bar. I mix my stam based skills with mag based skills to even out the sustain issue. Mag skills are usually my dots that last awhile.
For Pet Sorc, is hardened ward always the go to morph? Is the mag and steam regeneration not worth? Or the fact that it always heals instead of when pets are full hp?
I'll admit, I'm a super casual PvE soloer (no guild) who constantly fights to be comfortable with my Magicka Necro. I was in a decent place until I logged in today and my blastbones started coming back at me. I thought the game was glitching at first. So, my blastbones automatically changed to the one that approaches me as opposed to attacking my target. So I have to reset that skill. Then, the attacking blastbones is now stamina based so I'm going to have to reset my points and put some into stamina. I guess the more hardcore may see these changes as good but I do not. Sorcerer is stating to look a lot better to me now.
If you are looking for a guild I run a NA solo players guild, pretty decent sized we offer a trader / crafting / gear help / dungeon help etc But a heavy attack sorc is your best bet for a solo player
@@LostHorizons0 I only have two characters, Necro and Sorc, and have sort of been neglecting my Mag Sorc till now. When I have time, I'll give him a look. Thanks.
Hi! New player here, could you explain what s the difference between stamina or magika? I mean i know it change the resource i use but if i can morph skills and just choose the resource whats the difference in damage? For example why stamina arcanist do more dmg than magika? Why use difference skills if you can just morph? Thanks
Solo and when I do any dps in 4 man content my heavy attack magic sorc and my one bar magic arcanist (no beam ) I’m happy with them I don’t really see any reason to change at this point.
Whilst I am pleased to see Magicka Sorcerer atop the list, the reasons seem not nearly as colourful as for the other classes. The selling point for Magsorc is exclusively its ease, but not so its strength? If it is merely safe but not fast at clearing as a Stamina Arcanist, then the number 1 spot feels undeserved.
You talked about the benefits of sorcer pets during the mag sorc section, but I noticed you weren't using a pet in the video. I'm not sure how to setup my sorc. Pet is nice but I hate that it takes up space on both bars. Also, what weapons to use? Lightning staff on both bars?
I use a one bar 2H StamKnight with Venomous Smite and New Moon Acolyte gear.....It's guaranteed Crit with the Stampede skill..........I saw recently in a dungeon that I was doing 35k dps, is this good or bad?
1:32 melee warden should use Gripping Shards to begin with, but yea ferry limited class i so build that was magica and with 2h, skills are support and hes main attack is heavy attacks, so he has no sustain issue, ofc he has cp-skill that boosts damage to off-balance but i find its not worth it sins when he goes against boss its useless so i would rather use something that boosts my overall damage
Completely solo? Not even a companion? Magicka Siphon Nightblade all day! That said, Stealth Archer Nightblade is the most fun, by far. Although that does require having a Healer companion. (I go with Ember.)
kinda dissaointed that this is a video about solo builds and doesn't mention the bash builds. i run 2 solo bash builds a bash DK and a bash necro and they make solo content a cakewalk infact my highest solo archive was done with a bash build. they have all the survivability of a full on tank but can dish out crazy damage.
Your point about stam arcanist being able to use class skills and not weapon skills making them “basic” or whatever you said is kinda weird. I think that is the whole point of making a stamina build is to be a warrior not a magic character. I personally like how the weapon skills feel and look better than class one because the animations of class skills never like up with what your doing and also the weapon skills just feel great, well if you use wrecking blow like I do lol
I picked StamKnight over StamBlade after watching Lucky Ghost give it a SS Tier, it's performing perfectly well so far nearing the end of base game content. Kind of sad to see it in B tier since I've put so much into him already. Hopefully he continues to perform nicely
I have been ordering Factor for the past month and even though it's priced a bit high, it is worth it to get healthy, non-processed foods. It fills me up and I am rarely eating junk food.
What are you smoking if you think MagDK is B-tier lmao That class is easily A-tier at worst, S-tier if you can keep up with the actions per minute required to actually play it decently, so definitely no heavy attack builds (on DK, really?????). It's easily one of the toughest and hardest hitting classes in the game when played right. IMO it's only outclassed by the Stam Arcanist atm.
I wana get into this game so bad but it’s not new player friendly at all 😭 can’t find help fr either if anybody down to help and teach me I’ll definitely be willing to redownload this game and buy the eso plus I got a max lvl character but it’s jus to much I don’t get about the game tried myself but still
Do not listen to this dude. Mag DK and Stam DK is one of the best Solo class in the game. Both PVE and PVP (include BG). Mag DK is absolutely top dmg class alongside with Arcanist. Any solo content so easy and fun.
Honestly I think you completely missed it with magicka dragonknight, heavy attack on magicka dk is never more dmge + survivability than pressing buttons . Yes it requires more brain power and rly knowing the class well, but you rly get rewarded in solo stuff while for example magicka templar is way easier to play and is rly strong but the ceiling can be lower in some sittuations . For example you can make magicka templar today slap on oakensoul gets some crafted gear and go get maelstrom/vatershan done on veteran easily and few arcs in endless archive and do some tweeking to a build to be tanky or for status effects for later arcs . While on dk its much more lengthier process to actually learn how class works, oakensoul can be prty decent but is not better solution in most cases . Tho I would probbably rank it like you did due to that reason .
Nah. See you're talking about an oakensoul magdk when HTM wasn't even using a one bar heavy attack build. It's a dot build with two bars and heavy in between cool downs.
Dude, I pay almost 30 bucks per month for no commercials. I have enjoyed your channel over the years but this stupid greed has to stop somewhere. We all hate how the corporations treat us. But we adopt their tactics? Unsubbing! You have become the Machine, man!!!

I'm loving my stamina warden haha. It might be the easiest class I've leveled so far. I'm using a bow though.
I'm goinjg with Templar as my very first ESO character. I want to try the magicka Templar. Are there guides on how to build it? Thanks for such great content.
You can try this! hacktheminotaur.com/builds/eso-magicka-templar-beginner-build/
Thank you for this video, you saved me hours trying to get a bad class off the ground. If only a few certain classes are s level, I am DONE.
gonna try the necro one bar looks good i like necro anyway despite it being weaker than most it has good stuff in it id say its great to see the new blastbones morph getting some love
Stam blade makes sense for being A tier in all honesty, ive only ever played stam blade and ive found soloing stuff to be relatively easy lmao
I did recently make a mag warden tho which was hell to figure out as ive never played another character and I've never played a mag character
Can you do this for best healer class and pvp class?
Can’t wait to a see a new update on a solo stamblade
Hi hi, thx for the tierlist. The bowzerker warden still viable? I just start 1 month ago i'm currently at 400 cp, it's an amazing game
Have you tried a heavy attack build? Mag Necro is actually one of the best classes for that now with the new blastbones buff.
If you are looking for a guild I run a NA solo players guild, pretty decent sized we offer a trader / crafting / gear help / dungeon help etc
But a heavy attack sorc is your best bet for a solo player
@@HackTheMinotaur I see your Completely BUSTED! video/printout and may have to adapt to that if I continue with my Necro--if I want to live. Thanks!
@@LostHorizons0 I only have two characters, Necro and Sorc, and have sort of been neglecting my Mag Sorc till now. When I have time, I'll give him a look. Thanks.
@@michaelp4396 yep as this video says it’s a S tier solo class
So running magik warden with lightning staff is better than frost 🤔?
Great video btw ❤
Does Templar puncture sweep still heals you or did they nerfe that??
I use a trample skill for the heroism sunder concussion and hemorrhage statuses
What would be the best class for a full health build? Can't help but be curious.
Dk and warden are pretty solid for that
Can't decide between Templar and sorcerer ......which one would be better without mythic and gear sets?
Anyone know the skills and morphs he's using for the Stamina Arcanist build?
only in ESO would you think poison and fire go well with a knight
I like my stamina templar & magblade most, though ive been contemplating making a stam necro with stam scythe as spammable. Maybe one day...
Hi! New player here, could you explain what s the difference between stamina or magika? I mean i know it change the resource i use but if i can morph skills and just choose the resource whats the difference in damage? For example why stamina arcanist do more dmg than magika? Why use difference skills if you can just morph? Thanks
Solo and when I do any dps in 4 man content my heavy attack magic sorc and my one bar magic arcanist (no beam )
I’m happy with them I don’t really see any reason to change at this point.
warden heavy attack build is still my fav one bar tho ngl
can you link the build for the stamina arcanist you used in the video please I’d really appreciate it need it for my first vet vateshran clear
So same as always if it goes for S tier
You talked about the benefits of sorcer pets during the mag sorc section, but I noticed you weren't using a pet in the video. I'm not sure how to setup my sorc. Pet is nice but I hate that it takes up space on both bars. Also, what weapons to use? Lightning staff on both bars?
Necropotence set with maybe like mothers sorrow or whatever to round it out the magika buffs alone make it worth it
If I'm not wrong he was using an imp
I use a one bar 2H StamKnight with Venomous Smite and New Moon Acolyte gear.....It's guaranteed Crit with the Stampede skill..........I saw recently in a dungeon that I was doing 35k dps, is this good or bad?
Depends on the dungeon, if it’s Vet or Normal, group buffs etc. In a pickup group with minimal buffs that would be decent
1:32 melee warden should use Gripping Shards to begin with, but yea ferry limited class
i so build that was magica and with 2h, skills are support and hes main attack is heavy attacks, so he has no sustain issue, ofc he has cp-skill that boosts damage to off-balance but i find its not worth it sins when he goes against boss its useless so i would rather use something that boosts my overall damage
ua-cam.com/video/fCFVQ3eQado/v-deo.html&t
Completely solo? Not even a companion? Magicka Siphon Nightblade all day!
That said, Stealth Archer Nightblade is the most fun, by far. Although that does require having a Healer companion. (I go with Ember.)
I feel like the warden is at its best when it’s a hybrid tbh
kinda dissaointed that this is a video about solo builds and doesn't mention the bash builds. i run 2 solo bash builds a bash DK and a bash necro and they make solo content a cakewalk infact my highest solo archive was done with a bash build. they have all the survivability of a full on tank but can dish out crazy damage.
What's the build? Sounds interesting!
I've done that with a tank DK, agreed, it makes you feel invincible.
Love him or hate him, but he's telling facts
If wardens Netch restored both it’d either catch a nerf or be broken asf
Are there no hybrid solo builds to include?
I just made an archer warden I was planning on making them a werewolf 😭
Your point about stam arcanist being able to use class skills and not weapon skills making them “basic” or whatever you said is kinda weird. I think that is the whole point of making a stamina build is to be a warrior not a magic character. I personally like how the weapon skills feel and look better than class one because the animations of class skills never like up with what your doing and also the weapon skills just feel great, well if you use wrecking blow like I do lol
When showing off solo classes. I wish you would show some harder content world Boss From blackwood or high Aisle
What is the best spec build
how do you guys interpret classes so differently, i just read an article and the tier list was almost the opposite. very very confused new player here
Have you checked the date of the article to be sure it’s ranked at the same patch?
How many active players now on ESO really in 2024?
I picked StamKnight over StamBlade after watching Lucky Ghost give it a SS Tier, it's performing perfectly well so far nearing the end of base game content. Kind of sad to see it in B tier since I've put so much into him already. Hopefully he continues to perform nicely
Hi, best race for sorcerer?
Whats a good solo magsorc build? I want to be able to solo world bosses and stuff.
One bar aircraft is solid check his solo archives build
I keep saying over and over. Give Warden a passive which increases bleed and frost damage. Make the magic abilities frost.
Change one of the bear morphs to a polar bear that does ice damage! 🐻❄️
the mag archanist is better imo better damage and sustain for me at least...
Give Stam a try and come back
not true at all.
What's your favorite Solo Class in ESO?
Still Templar x)
Templar 😊
Like the rest, Templar
Sorcerer. I like the templar, but I love my sorcerer.
Necromancer ❤
good list
so im guessing DK is a no go?
Hi, amazing vid! Do you use ring of the pale order for solo stamina arcanist?
Not usually needed
@@HackTheMinotaur thanks!
I have been ordering Factor for the past month and even though it's priced a bit high, it is worth it to get healthy, non-processed foods. It fills me up and I am rarely eating junk food.
When does pts start to see the builds with the new scribing system
Another week or 2 I bet!
What are you smoking if you think MagDK is B-tier lmao
That class is easily A-tier at worst, S-tier if you can keep up with the actions per minute required to actually play it decently, so definitely no heavy attack builds (on DK, really?????). It's easily one of the toughest and hardest hitting classes in the game when played right. IMO it's only outclassed by the Stam Arcanist atm.
I think I will go back to my Necromancer
What UI is that?
About Magicka Sorcerer, would it still be ranked as S if I don't use pets? Cause I really don't like pet classes...
Nice builds only for members huh so I gotta pay to be able to see a build?
whats the build for templar magicka ?
Check out the previous build video on this channel.
100% ZOS not testing sets well and not reacting well to the reports.
Shouldn't even consider banning players for sets they put out.
Thats y i have a hybred dk
Ward doesn’t heal you if you shield a pet my guy…
high elf sorsa 🦆
Heavy Attack the Minotaur 🤦♂️
I wana get into this game so bad but it’s not new player friendly at all 😭 can’t find help fr either if anybody down to help and teach me I’ll definitely be willing to redownload this game and buy the eso plus I got a max lvl character but it’s jus to much I don’t get about the game tried myself but still
Do not listen to this dude. Mag DK and Stam DK is one of the best Solo class in the game. Both PVE and PVP (include BG). Mag DK is absolutely top dmg class alongside with Arcanist. Any solo content so easy and fun.
Warden is S tier but u don't know how to
Nice.
Tho I would probbably rank it like you did due to that reason
.
ESO’s problem is it is so easy it gets boring super fast.
Good vid. Thanks. But saying Arc-un-ist is driving me nuts. Ar-cane-ist. Ar-cane-ist...
