Part of role playing too. For me it's as always been templar (stamplar to pe precise) Just that paladin feel, and helping the party when needed, or in solo play being able to cast heal then Go back hard on the target feels great
I've played all but Arcanist. I always come back to my Warden. I just dig all of the animals, and the crunch sound your ice staff heavy attack makes when it makes contact is so very satisfying.
@@LoganBrown-g5h I was Warden main for a long time. The Magicka version of Warden is easier to play but Stamina is also insanely viable as you have a burst heal and lots of stamina morphs for your abilities. Oh and your stamina bear can now make your enemies bleed(medium proc chance), which is nice.
Just got back into ESO yesterday. Been gone for an unknown amount of time. Burn out from FF &GW2 downtime. Ty for the video. Atilla very good for vets coming back.
I enjoy most of the classes in ESO as they all provide different play styles helping to break up the monotony. That said Templar is my main character and as a result my favorite class to play. I can only hope that the Arcanist is just as fun as the rest of the classes in ESO.
I've been loving the Arcanist. Been leveling it up, but the Eldritch horroresc theme, the colourings, the abilities are all so cool. Probably supplanting my current main of Necromancer :)
The Dragonknight so perfectly matches my playstyle that it sometimes feels like the class was specifically designed for me. So, I might try out an Arcanist when it's released, but I don't think anything will replace the DK as my favorite class in this game.
My choice of class depends on: role for which it will be used and type of content. Ease of use has also played a role in my class choices. What have I played most often over 7+ years? Sorc w/ or w/o pets; mag or stam; but by far and such a relief after all the dern LA weaving has been OakenHA FTW! ⚡ Such builds have made end game content more attainable in so many ways.
I remember having like 5-6 minions/allies with me and basically just wlaking through every encounter looting their kills lol. Only downside was the MAJOR traffic jams when they all bunch up behind you in a dead end hallway 😂
DPS magcro is my main and when the new DLC drops I'll be doing the first play through with him. I also slowly working my way through all the content on my first character (magsorc) but as soon as I finish the new zone with my necro, I'll be making an Arcanist. I have not played one at all so it'll be a learning experience.
Great video. I have a hard time committing to a class and I really want a character where I can just play everything the game has to offer. I recently made a Necromancer, but 10 hours in on the character I'm starting to realise I'm not really enjoying it. I do have a dragonknight character that I enjoy a lot and probably have about 150 hours on, but it's been years since I last played and I have no idea what's going on with that character. I might go with an arcanist because they look pretty fun, but I'm just not sure.
My favorite class is Templar. I solod the entire campaign using a great sword with heavy armor customized it pink and gold. Got her champion level then started doing dungeons as a light armor healer. Love this game it's my favorite! Warden is close behind though
BTW templars plus the dragon nigt is great for plsyers who use sword plus shield combos and getting close up to enemys ad taking no damage and buffing your character weapons and gear and in my opionion the best class in the game as of today
Sorc is still my fav. I wish the pets could be re-worked to be one-barrable, and that Hurricane got a visual upgrade, but yeah. Arcanist has a really cool theme, but I'm not about that leveling new toons life anymore 😂
Honestly, I love stam sorc. But what kills it for me is hurricane. I just can't get over not being able to see my character while playing. It throws off my timing and just feels off. If they ever change the visual effect of hurricane, I will 100% main stam sorc.
I am completely new to ESO and came here hoping to get a good for a solo build. It looks like Templar or Dragonknight might be best. Thanks for the info!
I'm excited for the new PTS changes for Templar. If they go through templar tank is gonna be in a better place. We just need a health based heal and it'll be all good
I think ESO should make it so you can changes classes just as ff14 it would make it more enjoyable for me to not make a new char if i want to experience a new class
These videos make all classes look basicly the exact same minus the color variation, arcanist is green, sorc blue, necro purple, templar yellow, knight is red... theres no real visual class variation like in other mmos which f'in sucks.
One of the issues I had with it, also no newer staffs to match the class you are and everyone uses the generic weapon abilities that look boring just like caltrops, I like having a theme with my classes where everything matches
There is something about the Warden's jack of all trades style that has made it my main and kept me from switching too much. That said Nightblades are a close second. They are, in my opinion, the most unique class in the game even over the new arcanists.
I always loved and always will love the magblade. My only issue is that the literally only have one 360° aoe dmg ability, without any help from weapon or other treelines
I have only played one character and played on and off for years. It took so long for me to get to champion i feel like i could never just restart because of how much content there is to do.
@@DanielFrost79 I've tried all of them yes, in both stam and mag versions. My favorites are dk both versions and probably sorc. I haven't played much of the necro and warden though, thinking maybe give it a go
I am watching this to decide which class I'll take bacause this will be my very first time playing. I might go for nightblade, because I really like to play with high mobility (and also enjoy the general vibe XD)
I started ESO during the PC Beta, played a lot on PS4 after switching to Console (all the way to Champion Level), then had to start over when I left Team Sony and got an Xbox. Always played Sorcerer and enjoyed it. On Xbox I never progressed thet far, because starting over and going through all the levels again started to feel like a bit of a chore. Last year I returned back to PC Gaming and guess what...had to start over again, so I stayed away from ESO, but I am now attempting to get back in the Game. I created a sorcerer Character again, but was thinking about maybe trying the Arcanist or Necromancer...this Videi gave me a nice overview, though I still haven't decided whether or not to try a different class. Game time is limited, and I can't possibly play more than one Character, so it's a difficult choice...first world problems, right..😂
I’m struggling to enjoy any class really because of the lack of thematic weapon/class combos for magicka gameplay. Lightning staff sorc, ice staff warden, fire staff DK, and resto staff Templar are the only ones that “fit” and it really throws me off. Like an arcanist with any of the destro staves just doesn’t look right.. same with most of the other classes. I have played the game on and off and almost always quit because I don’t enjoy playing my characters.
I in love with necromanser class. It is only one (for now) my character, who have build for all 3 roles, bc i really enjoing his gameplay. He is my first and favourite tank. As healer, unfortunately, he do not have many buff options, but nice sustain and healing, so i can use spaulder without worring what mana gone and team die. Wanna try pillager+spc/master architect+pearls of ehlnofey on him, when zos buff colossus this month. Also, he is very effective in HA dd build: nice damage (not like pasre 2bar, but ok), great surviving and many combinations for semi-support gameplay and still chill and fun playing. For exaple, i fully healed not very exp tanky on ERE hardmode just spamming one skill on him during bear's breath and other painfull mechs; kited bosses and ressurecting+healing team in many raids. And of course, doing specific mechanics like portals or kite, never was such chill and interesting.
I want to get into eso but I sincerely can't see the "difference in class playstyle" being that they all center around dps supp an tank an all inherently kinda bleed into each other being able to make anything outta anything making them feel not as unique (imo) I don't really know how to explain it aside from its overwhelmingly underwealming how the skills feel to me an I wonder if there's any recommendations on how I could get more invested in my character.
thank you for this great and lovingly made video. very informative and entertaining. i love my magical templar. i started eso with him. with the power of light... he is my jedi knight
I remember my first toon and still my main the pet sorc. Days when llambris, Necro and mother sorrow was viable and pets were strong. Also the sorc tank n heals are very viable at all levels. Played the rest (not arcanist yet) have all builds etc, but the Necro is my 2nd favorite (guess I like pets hehe) very viable as dps, heals and tank. With arcanist coming out (at the higher end) some classes will be phased out/ played less but nature of the beast. Ty Hack for the post well done

Hey Minotaur, I've been gone from ESO a while now & have come back to play as necrovampire. So when i searched for the best build your unkillable magika one was the thing i clicked on & i was wonderng if that build is still good or of you have any plans to make a new video on what to choose. Because i assume there were no doubt updates & nerfs to many things that might make it not be as good like how it originally might have been.
I guess I have to flip a coin to chose either Necro or Dragonknight for my journey to eso 😅 im new to the game and really cant decide but hey I know I want to play Khajit no matter the class
What's your opinion on using Frostbite or Varen's Legacy or Daggon's Dominion as a damage boosting set? i do belive that Frostbite and Varen's could boost your damage quite a bit.
Hey hack I used to no life ESO but I haven't played in a really long time, I'm changing to ps5 to join my friends (they've been really busy the past few years so I been on pc) but since I haven't played in so long I was wondering, what would be a better healer a Necro (what I have on pc and enjoy) or a arcanist (which I believe is the newest class which when I saw it recently it looked kinda fun)
Ive been a Khajiit Stamblade since the PC beta 10 years ago. I was great at PVP for about 5 minutes and Ive never not been trash since then. I dont unserstand why NB is always so weak, but im not going to switch.
Main was magplar until Elsweyr, been a stamcro ever since. I'm curious about arcanist but I wonder if it will be enough to drag me away from my boney-boys.
I'm new to ESO, I have made Ebonheart Pact a Argonian templar (axe and shield) a Nord dragonknight (greatsword) a Dunmer sorcerer (staff) a Imperial nightblade (duel daggers) Daggerfall Covenant a Breton necromancer (staff) Altmeri Dominion a Bosmer warden (bow) and a Altmer arcanist (staff) I have 2 more character slots and not yet the ability to change alliances for reces (and not really in a hurry to) if anyone can give any advice for a noob to the block, it would be appreciated.
Hey man I’m thinking about playing eso I’ve been a WoW player for like 10 years and im just so tired with it I got everything I wanted from the game and need a new mmo lol i main a Paladin in wow and just wanted to know if the Templar is only a healer class or is also Dps? Thanks again man and your videos are really helpful for a new player!
Pick the one that's OP at the time. They're all the same anyhow. When it comes to eso classes it's just about the look. You'll be using the same skills, same rotations, same gear. With a few class skills thrown in.

3:32 have u a build 4 that 😅
would love to play a paladin type class, and templar seems the way. but what about race choice??
i think overload is underrated. decent damage and sustain or just pump out huge damage instantly. the sustain one is better though.
Yeah overload is buggy as though will still your light attack altogether or get the walk bug from it fun ult though
Ive been a Khajiit Stamblade since the PC beta 10 years ago. I was great at PVP for about 5 minutes and Ive never not been trash since then. I dont unserstand why NB is always so weak, but im not going to switch.
Just playing on the ps5 dam what an upgrade can't imagine how it be on PC dam
Torn between Summoner and Dragon knight now lol
Once i got a taste of nightblade, i never went back . Im a nb healer now
Can you skill center builds on non-class skill lines or is that a relic of the game's past?
Main was magplar until Elsweyr, been a stamcro ever since. I'm curious about arcanist but I wonder if it will be enough to drag me away from my boney-boys.
So which is best for heavy armour and two handed big swords
I tried many different races but those i Just called out i feel most home on
🎶 This is the CHAKRAM!
Of DESTINY CHILE 🤘
I'm new to ESO, I have made
Ebonheart Pact
a Argonian templar (axe and shield)
a Nord dragonknight (greatsword)
a Dunmer sorcerer (staff)
a Imperial nightblade (duel daggers)
Daggerfall Covenant
a Breton necromancer (staff)
Altmeri Dominion
a Bosmer warden (bow)
and a Altmer arcanist (staff)
I have 2 more character slots and not yet the ability to change alliances for reces (and not really in a hurry to)
if anyone can give any advice for a noob to the block, it would be appreciated.
If you even remotely like to face tank, the dragonknight is supreme
Ok time to change my class 🤣
ESO for life
So which class is best both a tank and a healer i mean the one tank that can do damage and at the same time converting that damage into heals
I have a strong feeling that there will be another Class in development.
Every class can do any role. So Templar can Tank Heal and DPs with the respective Build.
@@AxeDry231 awesome man thank you I just downloaded it last night but my girl wanted to watch master chef 🤣 I’m gonna play after work today man
What build you use on the Nightblade?
Pick the one that's OP at the time. They're all the same anyhow. When it comes to eso classes it's just about the look. You'll be using the same skills, same rotations, same gear. With a few class skills thrown in.
Basicaly this video is:
Classes have nothing unique because no matter what you chose you will be able to play anything you want so take what you like thematicaly.
Whats is the build for the warden with the bow mixing both skill
Is the templar a better healer than the sorcerer?
which class is better for melee vampire sorcerer or necromancer? (i already have a nightblade)
Damn they all look like Sorcerer except Nightblade.
