I was meaning to come back to ESO. When I played last it was right after the release of High Rock, the only class I enjoyed was the Necromancer. I played only until CP 160, so early endgame, I did not get as well versed in the game. Coming back now was too daunting because a LOT changed, and most necromancer guides I've seen were outdated, some recommended skills that don't even exist anymore. I was about to give up, then I found this guide. You single handedly turned a quit moment for me into a "time to dive back in and have fun". Thank you for this, and I hope you can make another guide like this once the new expansion is out with the Scribing mechanic.
I love your content. I feel this is your best video yet. I really appreciate your presentation of the perspective and way of thinking about necromancers and how their kit interacts with sets. I would love to see this style of presentation with other classes. Thank you so much to you and Mya.
I'm a necro main and love to check out necro content whenever I come across it, I love DDing on necro and in my guild I always beat out all the arcanists and DKs if I do go full DD instead of EC and it always feels so good. I still miss stalking blastbones though :') This is such an incredibly well written guide for DDing on necro and I will absolutely recommend this to some people
There's no way your necro is out dpsing arcs, maybe noon arcs who are bad dps but you'll not hit 125k on a necro... But you SHOULD be able to, I l9ve the class but they're so gimped right now, I loved my magcro.. used to get over 100k in EC and Rele in content and now I think I get like 60-80k because of the changes I've had to make...
@@dannynicholson50 Hmm it's definitely not impossible to outdps arcas or to hit 125k, the video you're on shows necro doing both those things, and then there's Ry hitting 130k on necro. I agree with you that necro isn't in a great state right now, and it could definitely use some help. But, it's nowhere near as bad as places like reddit makes it out to be. With the right setups you can be incredibly strong in any content. Although I will say, magcro definitely took a harder hit than stamcro I feel like, and I am a stamcro player.
I had almost given up playing Necromancer. Everyone told me "Its not good, its bad, you need to run the meta.". But then i found this video. It has reknewed my passion for this subclass. Thank you!
Great information. Very user friendly. I run stamina with scythe(main spamable ) sacrifice and venom skull. It feels very comfortable. Casting venom skull when it gets that 3rd cast and I’ve had no corpse issues.
Well done and informative video man! has to be 1 of the best!* pro tip on console* for bar swapping fast if you dont have an elite controller, in your xbox settings switch left on the d-pad with right stick click, not taking your thumb off the stick will improve your rotations and DPS
Super helpfull guide! Very indepth approach from all kinds of angles instead of the regular 1 dimensional: slap on these sets and press these buttons and ure a god! Well done!
I love the BB + DOTs rotation. I thought it was really cool that there was a build that didn't use a spammable. I started playing it a few years ago. It evolved over the past few years and I felt the various changes made this setup a bit better and easier to use since I first started playing it. I agree that it isn't the BB every 3 seconds that is a challenge. It is the bar swapping. At the time I started playing this build, my rotations for my various classes didn't bar swap nearly as often as when I first started playing the mag necro BB+DOTs build. Once I got better and became a lot better at bar swapping, I didn't have any issues with this build. In fact, getting better at this build made me able to perform better with other classes. I was able to use better rotations which required more bar swaps that the older rotations I used before. I think playing the necromancer ended up making me a better player overall.
mfw I was already rebuilding my Stamcro this month with Runecarver's Blaze, Sul-Xan/Dragonguard Elite/Roar of Alkosh (the latter for Arenas and support DPS) and either Velothi Ur's or Stormfist. Perfect timing that you also uploaded this video to share thoughts. Also gonna try few other DoT sets aswell, like Icy Conjurer, to try out some backbar stuff alongside Velothi Ur's mythic. Altho, I still need to farm those, as I'm almost finishing my Runecarver farming. IMO, I think Grimoire skills might raise my expectation exponentially when they come out.
This is interesting and may make me revisit. I think people are so harsh on necro because- particularly with the introduction of Arc- the results to effort ratio has shifted a lot.
Thanks for the vid, 22:45. Do i have to do any change if i go ec stam cro for blastbone+dot rotaion?( Lightning staff or electric cion?) Thanks again! 🎉🎉🎉
just got back into the game the other day after a two year break so this has been so helpful. You dont happen to have a written or a graphic guide for the rotations at all do you?
You are correct there that they are wrong. Awesome video thank you for the tips!!!! I am now top 1 Necro on NA and must say this class is awesome :) Have a nice day all!
Gahhh I’m playing an Argonian for somewhat of an rp sake and seeing it like second to last for race pick (even though I know it’s low tier dps) I still love it. Just a dirty lizard pulling up homies from the mud dealing stanky ass poison damage. Just feels right. I wish your summons took the shape of your race that would be sick 😬🙏
Lovely guide once again; gives me an idea of how to rebuild my mag necro thats been left in the character selection for 8 months. Also, bit of an unrelated question but, what are your opinions on the warden recently? Specifically magicka.
Magicka Warden is unloved at the top because the DPS isn't especially high and sustain is poor. Also, since the Arcanist arrived we don't need Wardens for perfect Brittle uptime. But being unloved isn't the same as being bad, as I say repeatedly in this video. But DPS certainly ain't bad... and it's still fun and effective on its own terms. I'd happily bring my Magden almost anywhere, so long as the group isn't super sweaty. Bit of a double answer, but I hope it helps.
Heavy attack mag sorc is really good right know, you may lack in aoe but in single targets you can do 2 ticks of 24-30k plus 30-40k last hit crit with a lighting staff when fully buffed
I like Sul xan and Kjalnar on my necro. It gives a unique playstyle different to my other characters and feels very thematic. Is it the best? No but its good enough and thats what matters to me.
A very slick and beautifully presented video with an amazing build for this undervalued class. Thanks a lot for this, I will be studying this intently. One question, I don't see any self-heals, in our groups without self-heals you're done, what would you sacrifice to fit a heal in there and what heal would you choose?
Thanks for the kind words! Absolutely yes, if your healers are inattentive (or absent) you will need a self heal. Resolving Vigor would be my first choice, but if you're on a Magicka Necromancer and need to heal often, Resistant Flesh could also work. Good luck with it!
@@NinjaPulls Thanks, what skill would you drop from your setup if you had to slot a heal, which would be the least detrimental to the DPS do you think?
great video, I always loved necro since it came out, the rotation feels so great and keeps you interested for years. although, why you didnt consider silver shards as spameable? And also a couple of remarks: - I still havent found anyone who has understood the change into mag bb, it feels like a nerf to an already high investment but not top results class. It would maybe work if they allow the mag bb to work really as a buff, so being able to cast out of combat and removing the delay to the skill so the duration is 20s and not 18s factoring in the animation time - The reason why it feels as a weak class is that there are few fights where you can really make use of his full kill sets as it needs long static figths, such as taleria, falgram and few others, but zos keep making fights favouring short rounds of burst, where dk and arc (which I hate) excel
that magic one if it struggles a fair bit with stam sustain and 7 out of 10 ability's are stam cost, cant i just stack points and enchant into stamina, not done so much dps lately and kinda lost touch with hybrid with how that all works
Iv always used a mag hybrid with ric skull all skills the same but rune instead of caltrops its far superior in content its kinda screw me going stab blastbones tho hate these neco changes its still good but now stam sustain is much tighter 😔 it still hits 115k plus on dummy but in content it leaves the rest behind u should try it crunch spiders for food its a very nice variation great with catalyst n warmavhine in trails 🤙
Great video. Many people dismiss necros especially in pug groups. Sometimes you get kicked automatically if you come in on vet with necro dd but thank you for showing ppl how powerful runecarver is on necro
My brain has doubled in size. Lots of information. Ty. I wont ask an overwhelming number of questions on necro for a while. I need time too absorb the informantion. This patch, my necro hits lower numbers than last (101k down to 97k). Not quite sure hoe to bump it and runecarver seems to hit even less. Ik for a fact its me. Just gotta figure it out. Tyvvm for the information.
Haha yeah I crammed a lot of info in there. I know you're a Necro stalwart so if you appreciate it, then I must be doing something right. Thanks for the comment and good luck with it!
Time for me to resurrect the Necro? 😏 I have been wanting a different option for DD than Arc at the moment and always felt my Necro was dead, so hoping this is the video to lift my spirits… Feel like Arc is making me lazy and if I can crank out some nice numbers on Necro for dgn challenge runs/trifecta progs I’m here for it! Thanks for always putting out great content.
EC cro remains a staple for optimal group compositions, and is one of the main reasons people build Necros. I'd love to see a rotation that maximizes EC uptime and gives good individual damage. But there are very few out there. Can you add that, at least to your written guide please?
I used to do a 9s EC rotation (Unstable Wall, Boneyard, Siphon) which got 100% uptime and was extremely easy. But it’s very well known by now and EC Necro isn’t often needed since the arrival of Lucent Echoes. Still, if you join our Discord and get in touch I’d be happy to send you the old guide.
Do you guys have a guide for addons and setting them up? Or something you recommend? Trying to configure srendarr but its confusing. Id like to know what buffs i have going but not sure what to slot etc
Weapon/Spell Damage. The only difference between the two is a tiny bit of Stamina/Magicka Recovery, which is where the "multi-effect" thing comes from.
Thanks for the kind words! Runecarver + Pillar of Nirn/Aegis Caller would be solid. But you’ll be missing Minor Slayer, and also trials are excellent in ESO so I highly encourage you to give it a go. Random groups can be dreadful or awesome, but if you find a nice guild you should have a great time. Join Ninja Pulls if you’re on EU!
thanks for this video i was looking for help to improve my dps as ec cro, question in an ec/rele setup (where am forced to use wall) wich spammable would u use for single target boss fights? or a dot rotation is better in that case?
If you’re using Blockade of Storms I would probably stick with the DOT rotation for EC, since it involves overcasting stuff and perfect uptimes are pretty much a given. But if you’re using Shocking Siphon + Rune + Boneyard for the 3 elements, you can also go with a 2H backbar and a spammable. Skull is probably the simplest option.
Thanks for this really well made guide. I'm coming back to ESO after years, My main was a Necro. Seems to have really been nerfed since I last played. Is Runecarver a must? I dont have Scribes of Fate DLC. Is there a similiar viable set I could use for only Base + Chapters?
Runecarver is only a must if you want to hit 125k+ and compete with good Arcanists and DKs in terms of damage. If you just want to have fun with the Necro and don’t need top-tier damage, then yeah there are loads of setups you can use. Aegis Caller, Pillar of Nirn, Advancing Yokeda etc.
Hello, I'm a bit of a new player struggling to stay alive in veteran trials, and want to try out necromancer and I would love to try the Blastbones + DOTs setup for veteran trials, is it feasible? Also, at the end of the video you show the Blastbones + Spams CMX and full rotation, is the DOT setup/rotation/gear different or I missed some information? On the website it shows the same rotation with spammable. Sorry if I missed something obvious, it's why I'm asking here
For the blastbones + dot build, does the extra damage that deadly aim adds to runecarver outweigh the damage that you would get from biting aura, given that every skill on both bars (except for skeletal archer) benefits from biting aura and not from deadly aim?
Yes. It seems weird, but when you break down the damage percentages in CMX, even the DOT rotation comes out as primarily single target, direct damage. Surprising but true. At least in my testing.
Great video, I loved how you explained everything in detail. One question though. Let's say I wanted to use staves instead of daggers, what would be the traits and enchantments? Flame or Lightning staff? Or is it not a good idea at all?
I cover most of this at 19:59. I'd avoid a Staff on front - go with Bow if you need range (the passives just work out better for this class). Staff on back works fine though, so long as you can sustain it. I'd go with Inferno by default, but as I said I didn't do a ton of testing with staves. Hope that helps.
@@batuardademir7258 Hey man, I'm trying to do a build with staves, dou you have any tips? I'm currently cp 900 but only 83k dps on single dummy, using whorls and nirn, double inferno staves
Hello. In your dot setup do you overcast Rune when there is not corpse for Siphon? And if yes, is this the best option for both magicka and stamina necros? Thank you.
Yes that's right. I found there was always a corpse for Siphon, but whenever I went to recast Boneyard + Spam I would make that Spam a Rune instead of a Siphon, just in case. Hope that helps.
i'm looking through comments and back through the video. I normally don't care about attributes/food but when they're missing, NOW I have a question. lol, it figures. The magcro bars are so full of physical dmg I'm wondering if going into all stam along with stamina blue food? AND stam regen on jewelry... aye... My magcro is a Breton so not optimal from the start..
Yes, Scalding Rune will work. But Caltrops is stronger and lines up better with Stampede. Plus, PvP in ESO is really fun! If you don't know where to start, join our Discord and ask one of our PvP experts. Happy hunting!
I do enjoy the dot rotation but it's only realy something for trials or at least longer fights. Currently doing all the dungeon trifectas with a group and by the time you throw down the 4th or 5th dot everything would be dead already if you just put down 2 ground aoes and use aoe spammable.
Correct. Setups like this are not for trash pulls or old dungeons where bosses last 10 seconds. They're for longer boss fights where high damage and sustain are much more important.
I think a lot of the backlash or "necro is dead" comments are coming from a place where the changes that we got were forcefully pushed despite a lot of negative player feedback and a lot of really good suggestions for changes from the community. I really don't understand why the thought process for the changes was "Necro's rotation is too hard" when there's classes with nuch harder rotations and when the thing everyone has been complaining about since launch is how wonky Blast bones can be. Having Blastbones just not target anything or having it get CC'd in PvP feels awful. Sacrifice doesn't fix that and Blighted losing the damage ramping doesn't either. I think a better approach to the rework would have been to leave stalking alone and let it be a risk reward sort of playstyle (Pros: higher damage base and higher potential burst. Cons: can be more than every 3 seconds and can be CC'd) and then change blighted so that it doesn't have the AI and instead just keaps to your target having it formed (Pros: Guaranteed every 3 seconds rotation and can't be CC'd. Cons: lower damage and more likely to be LoS'd). There you go a morph coice that's non-restrictive, has pros and cons, and is good across PvE and PvP while still retaining necromancer's rotation identity. Instead we got a got a weaker version of blastbones and the new Sacrifice version just feels overly restrictive (have to run flame skull, can't do full DoT setup, and can't currently prebuff) for and clunky while being even lower damage than what we had before.
Hello @Ninja Pulls I wanted to ask if building any class on this Mythic Kilt does them any justice? In my opinion any class with any skills can pull 100k+ DPS with this item. This reminds me of when Siroria came up and provided crazy (back then) DPS parses. It turned out that was it's only application as vet trials never allowed DDs to stand still to build the stacks similar to Kilt that requires you to avoid enemy at all cost and not be hit by adds. There's a lot of other build for other classes not using these mythics and still pulling 120k DPS. I wonder if Necro comes close to it without this mythic? Asking you as my go to Necro Master ;) Have you tested something without Kilt/Siroria?
The Kilt is not just for the dummy, if that's what you're asking. People use it all the time - you just gotta be smart and replace it in fights where incoming direct damage is unavoidable. It's all about the stats. The Kilt gets us to the 125% crit cap, but it's not the ONLY way. Just a little more stat efficient, and therefore slightly more DPS potential. That's all.
Hi ninja pulls. I have some questions for you. 1) If i use double stave what trait and enchant you advice me? 2) using oakensoul ring for solo content what Blue tree should i slot? Also in this Build Is Better stalking sacrifice or blighted BB? 3) name or this stave motif with the skill? Is so Amazing
1. I didn't test double Staves because it's so much weaker. I wouldn't recommend it. But I'd go Infused back bar and Precise front bar (unless Precise takes you over 100% crit chance in execute, then Charged). Weapon Damage back & Poison front I suppose. 2. I never use Oakensoul so I'm not the right person to ask. Blighted Blastbones does not exist anymore - watch the video again maybe! 3. The Staff with the skull is the Kjalnar's Nightmare style.
This video is great but im a bit confused, the picture for stam necro in the description has a different setup for single target and trash than waht you show in the video. So should i set up my front and back bar like how you show in the video or use the picture in the description? And also is there a way to find the skill names that you have in the picture? Im having trouble finding the second row for single target with the green orb in the picture
I think the biggest area where most people say Necro is garbage is in pvp. Make a good (comparable to NB or Sorc) Necro and I think youll see what people are talking about more so than PVE. Id really love to see that video as well. Great video though and very informative. Subd!
Thank you for your work, that's a lot of information and tips, i have no question 😂 Maybe just one ? Have you planned to do the same for other classes? 🙏
Thanks for the kind words. I would LOVE to do these for every class, but they take so long to make and ZOS keep changing things so the video will be out of date before it can justify itself. But I will keep this in mind and see what I can do…
Sure thing - swap the Maelstrom Greatsword, Stampede and Carve for the Maelstrom Inferno, Blockade and Siphon (just for the passive). You could also slot Elemental Susceptibility instead of Siphon if you want.
Runecarver's Blaze has been on my mind lately. I was thinking of pairing it with Burning Spellweave. Since both sets do something with flame damage, would the use of both sets be overkill?
No such thing as overkill my friend! But you’re better off with a Minor Slayer set like Relequen, Riptide, Ansuul etc. Spellweave is really strong for short burst fights though - I use it pretty regularly in trash fights.
@@NinjaPulls thanks for the reply! I just did a quick search for sets which bestow minor slayer. It figures that all the sets I found are dropped in trials. I have a hard time with trials due to all the action going on. It makes it very difficult for me to focus. With the exception of Oakensoul, can you recommend any other sources of minor slayer? Liked and Sub'd.
Sounds fine, but False God is one of the weaker trial sets, and a LOT of Necro damage is direct and unaffected by Deadly (as I say in the vid). It VERY much depends on your rotation, the content you're playing and the DPS you need, but the set recommendations in the video should serve you much better in group content.
Would this work if i replaced shooting star with the normal necro ult? Idk what the dps difference is like if i was to swap it to colossus or if the rotation would be different.
Rotation stays the same. You’ll lose a lot of damage on the dummy but obviously in content where Major Vulnerability isn’t provided it’ll be a net gain.
Hi, nice video as always ! Got a question - Is it fine to run 3 light and 4 medium pieces for solo content, i really dont do raids anymore, i wana run runecarver BUT have pale order ring as well, so my only option is to have 3 light pieces of that set combined with relequen.
Yeah sounds fine to me. Solo arenas are pretty different so you can change a LOT of things depending on how you approach the content. The extra penetration will be nice, for one thing.
@@NinjaPulls TY! My current setup is rele/wrath + nirn/aegis/ adv yokeda depending on content, i mostly do vma and vateshran but lately I've been running a lot of world bosses. Last vet trial i completed was vCR+3 like 3 or 4 years ago. Its so much easier gearing for a trial.
Hey there! Runecarver on the front bar works (although it is a DPS loss) or you can use another Minor Slayer set like Ansuul. Or just any decent Medium set like Pillar of Nirn. Hope that helps!
On the back bar Inferno is fine so long as you can sustain it, but as I say in the video, on the front bar it's pretty weak. The way the weapon passives work means it's a damage loss with zero benefit. If you need range use a Bow, and if you don't, use Daggers. Good luck!
@@NinjaPulls But this passive from inferno staves 'Inferno Staves increases your damage done with damage over time and Status Effects by 12%' wouldnt be good for the dots? Thanks for the answer!
No problem - but it's all in the video (I know, it's long and there's a lot to remember!). DOTs are never more than 40% of our damage, so this bonus ends up being not very effective.
I have tried Sacrifice + Ricochet instead of Stamina Skull as Spammable, staffs on both bars, but have no idea how this could be sustainable without Heavy Attacks. Any ideas maybe?
Hmmm. Depends on the group and content. Try overcasting Siphon and moving more Runecarver pieces to the body and hope that the extra pen isn't wasted in the group(s) you're with. You could also put Elemental Susceptibility on the back bar (kinda like Carve) for another free cast now and then. Finally, if you're still stuck I'd encourage you to at least try a Maelstrom 2H back bar - it's weird at first if you're used to Blockade, but it's really strong and most players really like Stampede once they get used to it. Hope that helps.
Hey there! It is not likely something I will make a DPS guide on, as it is more of a fun/RP thing in PvE, so not something I play in optimised groups. Feel free to join our Discord though, I am sure there are peeps happy to help: discord.com/invite/ninjapulls
Surely Deadly would fulfil the same function as Runecarver? Any reason not mentioned? I am feeling Deadly + Azureblight... (in the absence of a trial set)...
How did you allocate your attributes when stamina and magicka build mostly use the same skills? Or what is even the difference between those 2 builds when skills are mostly the same? Sry i'm a rather new player.
No worries at all. In ESO, a PvE damage setup almost always puts ALL Attributes into Magicka or Stamina. That’s what determines whether it’s a mag/stam build. There ARE differences obviously but yeah Necro looks the same because resource sustain is so good that it can kinda go either way.
I'm just gonna let this run on my phone now and then check the video for real later for an extra view (and ofcourse a comment for the algorithm!) Honestly, knowing you guys this video is top tier without having actually seen it ❤ will comment again when I've watched the whole thing!!
I know next to nothing about ESO, but I did hear a lot of people discuss Colossus when talking abt necro DD. Is there a reason why it’s not included here? I’m just curious more than anything, this is not meant as a criticism
Hi there! It's a good question - Colossus applies a debuff which is very useful in group content, but deals significantly less damage than other ultimates. So you don't want to use it unless there's NO other source in the group. Hope that helps.
I'm having trouble working out my rotation at the moment, stuck between 50kdps and 60kdps, running Pillar of Nirn, Runecarver, maelstrom back bar, wading kilt and 1 piece zaan. Not sure if my build has much to do with it, any tips on getting a rotation set and being able to stick to it?
Check the written guides in the description. 50k does seem a bit low - make sure you're testing on a trial dummy (not just any dummy). You can join the Ninja Pulls Discord and post a CMX if you want us to take a look at it.
@@NinjaPulls yeah it's definitely a trial dummy! I do fumble a little on the rotation (always struggled with rotations) but I try my best to keep everything up, even on my arcanist that's pretty much 3 buttons... 60k DPS but when I see others do it they're hitting 100k, I have no idea 🤣🤣 I'll join the disc

100% agree. This was my experience also.
I just reinstalled ESO for the New Life Fest…..was confused AF when my blast bones kept suiciding in into me. Been about two years since I’ve played.
So nice to see this,i always use deadly strike and a heavy set for pvp.good work 😊
Fed video! Tak for at dele flere vinkler af en Necromancer ud over 1 meta setup 🙂
mfw I was already rebuilding my Stamcro this month with Runecarver's Blaze, Sul-Xan/Dragonguard Elite/Roar of Alkosh (the latter for Arenas and support DPS) and either Velothi Ur's or Stormfist.
This video is awesome, well structured and so much more useful than reading various guides. I hope you do one for the warden!
Thanks very much for the comment. If there’s another class that deserves a reappraisal, Warden is a decent candidate.
Genuis, amaizing like always. Ty man
Damn, so nice necro video ;)
Tomorrow ill update my necro
Love the video bro, been waiting for it, my stamina is only 15k so i need to improve it
This is awesome! Thank you 👍
This is interesting and may make me revisit.
Thanks, I've been hoping for a new build since the changes.
Your Char looks sick! Well...literaly lol Awesome Vid! I actually want to hopp on my Necro a little more again. 🤘🤘🤘
Doooo it!
And thanks!
Love this comment. The Archer seems to be an Argonian skeleton VERY often for me.
Bit of a double answer, but I hope it helps.
thank you so much for such an informative and entertaining video, i think i have watched it like 20 times lmao.
That’s awesome!!! Thanks so much for letting me know 🤩
Heavy attack mag sorc is really good right know, you may lack in aoe but in single targets you can do 2 ticks of 24-30k plus 30-40k last hit crit with a lighting staff when fully buffed
Heavy attack builds have been good for a while but they’re also bland and boring asf
I like Sul xan and Kjalnar on my necro. It gives a unique playstyle different to my other characters and feels very thematic. Is it the best? No but its good enough and thats what matters to me.
Sounds great! Sul-Xan is incredibly strong when it works. I try to use it wherever possible.
@@NinjaPulls Thanks, what skill would you drop from your setup if you had to slot a heal, which would be the least detrimental to the DPS do you think?
absolute banger video
great video, I always loved necro since it came out, the rotation feels so great and keeps you interested for years.
although, why you didnt consider silver shards as spameable?
And also a couple of remarks:
- I still havent found anyone who has understood the change into mag bb, it feels like a nerf to an already high investment but not top results class. It would maybe work if they allow the mag bb to work really as a buff, so being able to cast out of combat and removing the delay to the skill so the duration is 20s and not 18s factoring in the animation time
- The reason why it feels as a weak class is that there are few fights where you can really make use of his full kill sets as it needs long static figths, such as taleria, falgram and few others, but zos keep making fights favouring short rounds of burst, where dk and arc (which I hate) excel
that magic one if it struggles a fair bit with stam sustain and 7 out of 10 ability's are stam cost, cant i just stack points and enchant into stamina, not done so much dps lately and kinda lost touch with hybrid with how that all works
Great guide i will try my necro again!
Btw do you make just dps guides or is there any necro tank guide ?
No Tank guide currently - but Hyperioxes made a really good one recently. Link: ua-cam.com/video/Q-reZAd4z8w/v-deo.html
I love to use
blast bones, snipe, venom skull, poison shot, and mage light on my first bar
Best necromancer guide video.
Wow, thanks!
nothing to say here just a great vid, good job Kaan
Nice vid dude
Thanks!
This video is a masterpiece.
< bows humbly >
Thank you for the lovely comment.
You can now prebuff sacrificial bones out of combat with update 43!
Yes! Already made a video about it the very day PTS started. Launching on August 19th for PC.
Time for me to resurrect the Necro? 😏
I have been wanting a different option for DD than Arc at the moment and always felt my Necro was dead, so hoping this is the video to lift my spirits…
Feel like Arc is making me lazy and if I can crank out some nice numbers on Necro for dgn challenge runs/trifecta progs I’m here for it!
Thanks for always putting out great content.
Thanks so much for the kind words Naltoid - means a lot!
Id like to know what buffs i have going but not sure what to slot etc
how did you put armor on a skeleton?
Love this. Only question I have is which multi effect on jewelry would you recommend? Seems to be two options
Weapon/Spell Damage. The only difference between the two is a tiny bit of Stamina/Magicka Recovery, which is where the "multi-effect" thing comes from.
20:58 You look like megamind's cousin, megameth.
Hey mate I'd love to see you having a go at sword and board builds for DPS😀
I expect that would be wildly unpopular and not super effective! Does sound like a fun challenge though…
Being a necro main, huge thanks for this video - I'll definitely play better now! Could you always add non trial gear? I never do trials
Well, I guess it's time to bring the Cro back into the game instead of just crafting. 😁I may even try out this Stam Cro for a change from my Mag Cro.
Sorry if I missed something obvious, it's why I'm asking here
You gonna make me play Necro again.
What about lightening staff front bar and inferno back?
I know daggers are meta, but is it viable shock staff front bar?
@@NinjaPulls Oops, I must have missed that part. Thanks for the explanation!
@@batuardademir7258 Hey man, I'm trying to do a build with staves, dou you have any tips? I'm currently cp 900 but only 83k dps on single dummy, using whorls and nirn, double inferno staves
@@lucassilva9237 Seems like you're already doing better than me dps wise
Magicka Necro is amazing imo!
i'm looking through comments and back through the video. I normally don't care about attributes/food but when they're missing, NOW I have a question. lol, it figures.
The magcro bars are so full of physical dmg I'm wondering if going into all stam along with stamina blue food? AND stam regen on jewelry...
aye... My magcro is a Breton so not optimal from the start..
what would be a decent alternative to caltrops in case one is too lazy to pvp? mages guild rune?
Okay. I am convinced. I will dust off my Necromancer.
*Mwahahaha!*
😂 Embracing the dark side. Necromancer was my main when it first came out. Prior to that it was the Nightblade. I have a thing for evil classes 🙈
oho @@marcuswilliams467 guess which class my main character is...
@@NinjaPulls I know you're a Night blade lover. I am hoping that the change to Dark shade will be a nice one and add some decent cleave to the class.
Hello @Ninja Pulls
I wanted to ask if building any class on this Mythic Kilt does them any justice?
In my opinion any class with any skills can pull 100k+ DPS with this item.
This reminds me of when Siroria came up and provided crazy (back then) DPS parses. It turned out that was it's only application as vet trials never allowed DDs to stand still to build the stacks similar to Kilt that requires you to avoid enemy at all cost and not be hit by adds.
There's a lot of other build for other classes not using these mythics and still pulling 120k DPS. I wonder if Necro comes close to it without this mythic?
Asking you as my go to Necro Master ;)
Have you tested something without Kilt/Siroria?
The Kilt is not just for the dummy, if that's what you're asking. People use it all the time - you just gotta be smart and replace it in fights where incoming direct damage is unavoidable.
It's all about the stats. The Kilt gets us to the 125% crit cap, but it's not the ONLY way. Just a little more stat efficient, and therefore slightly more DPS potential. That's all.
@@NinjaPulls thanks for a reply! What would be a good replacememt of the Kilt to avoid the swapping it a few times on the run? Set and forget?
How can i obtain that staff?
Hi, could you please post your character's sliders?
He looks so good
Arcanist is just oakensoul 2.0 :3
This video is great but im a bit confused, the picture for stam necro in the description has a different setup for single target and trash than waht you show in the video. So should i set up my front and back bar like how you show in the video or use the picture in the description? And also is there a way to find the skill names that you have in the picture? Im having trouble finding the second row for single target with the green orb in the picture
I’d suggest visiting our website: www.ninja-pulls.com/
It’s all labeled and clearly described.
I think the biggest area where most people say Necro is garbage is in pvp. Make a good (comparable to NB or Sorc) Necro and I think youll see what people are talking about more so than PVE. Id really love to see that video as well. Great video though and very informative. Subd!
Everything I talk about in this video relates to PvE only, including all the complaints that Necro DPS is awful. People just repeat what they hear.
could you combine runecarver with serpent's disdain? especially for content like Infinite Archive?
You'd miss Minor Slayer. But sure, you can combine anything with anything I suppose!
Thank you for your work, that's a lot of information and tips, i have no question 😂
Maybe just one ? Have you planned to do the same for other classes? 🙏
Thanks for the kind words. I would LOVE to do these for every class, but they take so long to make and ZOS keep changing things so the video will be out of date before it can justify itself. But I will keep this in mind and see what I can do…
@@NinjaPulls yeah of course understandable 😅👌🏻
Ninja, could you please let me know what skills I would substitute in if I go for an inferno staff on the back bar?
Sure thing - swap the Maelstrom Greatsword, Stampede and Carve for the Maelstrom Inferno, Blockade and Siphon (just for the passive). You could also slot Elemental Susceptibility instead of Siphon if you want.
@@NinjaPulls Sweet! Tyvm Ninja! Keep up the great vids man
Thats really nice, thanks :) what is this for a looking what you have?:O
If you mean the character at the start, she's a High Elf with a custom skin and mostly Ancient Daedric armor style.
Great video not to complain but couldn’t help to notice I couldn’t find the champion point section
Thank you! The detailed setups are here: ua-cam.com/users/NinjaPulls
it's not explained in-depth, but the CP section is on the right side of each CMX window after the parse
what about deadly combined with the sacrifice? that's a 30 percent damage boost. I combined with with false gods for some extra sustain.
@@NinjaPulls Would CPs need to change if i was a Cat using Velothi :o?
What's the next best set to use until I get Relequen Daggers?
Hey there! Runecarver on the front bar works (although it is a DPS loss) or you can use another Minor Slayer set like Ansuul. Or just any decent Medium set like Pillar of Nirn. Hope that helps!
@@NinjaPulls Thank you 😊
is there a rotation on this setup with skulls on stam necro ?
Nice video! How would a double inferno staff build be? Its possible to get decent damage this way? Thanks!
@@NinjaPulls i see, thank you very much!
where does Rune come from ? I cant find it
Mages guild.
ty muchezzz
@@NinjaPulls I was wondering where can you fit vamp in to Magic+dots is there a way ?
@NinjaPulls I guess in this case only 2H Maelstrom would help, but do not like it. I think I will return to Venom Skull as that works.
Hello can you make a video about vampire and how to incorporate it in dps builds
Deadly is fine, yes. And performs better on most classes. But it's simply not on a par with Runecarver for the Necro.
@@NinjaPulls Thanks for taking the time to reply, much appreciated. Subscribed :)
Happy to help @@tones7mca - happy hunting!
@@NinjaPulls Ah ok. Thx for the answer. :)
Thanks!
You are VERY welcome!
I'm just gonna let this run on my phone now and then check the video for real later for an extra view (and ofcourse a comment for the algorithm!)
Honestly, knowing you guys this video is top tier without having actually seen it ❤ will comment again when I've watched the whole thing!!
