    Just added an equivalent kit to my G19E. Drove the rear units up as far as they would go. My cart has a removable panel by the top of the rear shocks so was easier to manipulate. Tried a drift pin to align the holes and there was not good hole alignment, so I used a right angle-headed drill to adjust the hole location. Drilled in a rearward direction. Front went together easy, but the shoulder on the front shock extension kept it from seating at the top. About a quarter inch short. Bolt hole to hole showed it at 4 1/4”. Going to disassemble and grind the shoulders a smidge to see if that works better, because the camber is off about an 1/8”. Trying for a true 4” of extension.

    I’ve installed mine. But the camber is way off. The front shock mount has adjustable slot. But when bracket is in place, it’s kinda in “fixed” position. How to adjust without drilling multiplelarge holes in upper shock attachment. ? Thx

  • @williams.2002
    @williams.2002 3 роки тому

    Hello - installed some on my g19 and it’s the same exact , my cart rides so much worse which wouldn’t mind so much but the front end is all out of wack too, like it drives where it wants and it sways big time , little spooky .
    Am I missing something here , I know you get what ya pay for , but I thought it would be a little better . Do you have issues with adjustments , front end sway or camber. I was thinking of ditching the kit for a better one but they are out of stock. If you could replace yours , would you , if you could just snap your fingers or do you like your lift that much ? I really would like this kit to work well since it’s all ready to go , just it’s not bullet proof anymore .
    Apologies if post is to long , just looking for a update and a few answers for my questions .😎🙏

      Hi I have no issues with mine.but I did have the sway problem. I added wheel spacers that seemed to help alot.maybe check things over again? I probably would change now if I could just snap my fingers. But at the time it was a cost issue. But it still works good so iam not gonna change now.sorry this isn't working out for you.and thanks for watching.

    Getting the front camber right with a 4” lift and 12” wheels with 20” tires has been a nightmare…maybe because I’m OCD and can’t stand to look at my front wheels tilted out. Sorry if you explained it, I’m deaf and the subtitles aren’t helpful.

    Great video, I also have been leery about which kit to buy and haven't pulled the trigger. My cart is a G2 but I doubt the look would differ much between models. Do you have any pictures of the cart with the wheels on yet? I'm still on the fence about how big to go, I'm not looking to go crazy, I just want a little more clearance and better tires to handle muddy/slippery grass.

    Got this installed. Really easy however the rear drivers side shock with weight applied wants to twist or almost lean inward. Not sure how to keep this from happening unless I wild a bracket so it doesn't simply twist over.hope makes sense

    • @truckerdonsworkshop6408
      @truckerdonsworkshop6408  6 років тому

      cl listed yeah not sure why it would do that.

    • @cllisted1191
      @cllisted1191 6 років тому

      For starters, it looks like the shock is somewhat tilted and the way the bolts are inserted I could almost see it wanting to move that way.. almost like there needs to be some kind of plate that attaches to the frame up there to keep that 4 inch piece from basically turning inward on the Bolt

    • @cllisted1191
      @cllisted1191 6 років тому

      I just noticed something when looking at the top of your rear shocks where the lift kit attaches it looks like there's a little square plate sticking out from the top? If that's attached to the top mount I could see that keeping it from twisting however Mike it didn't come with that?

    • @truckerdonsworkshop6408
      @truckerdonsworkshop6408  6 років тому

    This kit sucks ass - I had the same one for a year - miserable with excuses (I was ) , I got a real lift kit and it’s truly night and day - wider and taller , drives straighter and no twisted metal clown van vibes ( side to side up high )
    Just not worth it - I wanted to change it back for so long after I did the economy lift , the new lift was exactly what I wanted the whole time.
    Just seen this vid pop up and I had to say something.
    I literally had this same economy lift all painted yellow and after the pretty simple install , it was all excuses from there. Looks great rides sooooooo bad , soooooooo bad.
    Good luck guys. Owner of a g19 Yamaha and I always loved it.

    So glad to see your video. I have the same cart and wanted to see an econ lift before I bought one. Thank You!! I would like to see the results if possible. I have never had a cart and I'm learning as I go. Have changed the wheels to 10" ones, working on the brakes now. Please email me if you don't mind showing your results and maybe giving me some pointers. Thanks! patdan@charter.net
