- Today I discuss the basic types of air compressors, how they work, and how I set up my system.
If supplying air to air tools/ plasma cutter/ or paint sprayer, I highly recommend a filter/Pressure regulator like this one.

Thanks, that was a lot of useful information. I bought an antique air compressor that seems to be in great shape and i was wondering where I should put it. After watching your video twice I think I'll put it outside behind my home shop, that should keep everyone and everything safe.
Always a good job!
Yeah I did the same thing with my release valve plus added a female air fitting that I hook a hose to so I can just spray it out of my garage.
I’m 19 and have a 1949 80 gallon 2 stage Vertical air compressor and the shocker is that I can run it on 115v also go to Lowe’s and look for the craftsman 1/4” air hoses reel its 20ft long and I got Mine for 20$
I have mostly q
1/4 air hoses but quickly learned when I hook my impact gun up it looses tons of power. So now I gotta go get some bigger hoses. And maybe some hi flow air fittings
Hey man, it was a nice video. I want to ask you a question. I have one quincy 2 stage air compressor I want to sell. The compressor belongs to my father in law who is no more here. Can you give me some idea where and how much should I sell it for. It looks in pretty good shape.
Hello Joy, tough question. Personally I would never buy a used compressor due to the fact that I have no idea what condition the inside of the tank may be. If the tank isn't drained frequently and the weld seams start rusting out, in essence you have a ticking time bomb. Look up air compressor explosion and you'll see what I am talking about.
A two stage air compressor definitely would hold a higher value than a single stage. I would recommend going on Facebook market place and see if anyone is selling a similar make and model. Try and base it off of that. If you aren't in a rush to sell, start high and lower the price gradually until someone is interested. Facebook marketplace is the place to sell things these days. Best of luck
Nice information, could you look at lens instead of what you see.
