For some perspective:
From the TV shows and movies, we know that Borg Cubes can take a massive amount of Federation weapons fire.
A standard full-yield photon torpedo (1.5 kg mattter and 1.5kg antimatter) has a max yield of ~64 megatons, or four thousand times the yield of the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
A Quantum Torpedo is approximately twice as powerful as that.
And a Tri-Cobalt torpedo is about 100 times the power of a quantum torpedo.
So keep that in mind when you see Star Trek battles, with them firing off torpedoes like candy, they are using enough firepower to destroy planets, as a normal fact of battle.
64*2=128 MT. 128*100= 12800 MT. While these numbers are freaking huge, a 128.000 megatone explosion is nowhere near enought to actually destroy a planet. just look at a few examples taken from wikipedia:
Last eruption fo the yellowstone Supervolcano: estimated yield 875,000 Megaton TNT equivalent or 1,000 PWh
super eruption of the La Garita Caldera: estimatet yield 2.39×106 Megatone TNT equivalent or 2,673 PWh
The 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake released 9,560 gigatons TNT equivalent or 11,110 PWh

Impressive. Excellent use of the Steam Runner.
They were lobbing tricobalt artillery like it was going out of style. They were the key to winning the battle and the unsung hero's of it.
That many tricobalt devices could destroy several cubes if not dozens of them. I'm surprised you didn't go back in time causing a rift, like in "Yesterday's enterprise".
there were no tricobalt torpedoes used as far as i know. what we can see here in masses are quantum torpedoes

Streamrunner class are long range artillery ships that fire those white "snow looking" torpedoes which are tricobalt. You can see the blue quantum torpedos next to it. It is only a game thing in Armada series.

Whats your go to fleet?
Mine has always been the excalibur, as many sovregins as possinble (plus the hero ships), and as many defiants as possible (sometimes 90 iirc), whats yours?
in my opinion, the most effective fleet constellation is a big fleet of steamrunners (they are doing massive range dmg) in the background and excelsior ships in the front. at least 5 or 6 nebula class ships for cross healing as well as Defiant, Voyager and Enterprise for Fleet buffs. Both dreadnoughts are very helpful, i don't have a preference here

but losses can be hold low by good positioning
Funny enough the Prometheus is the strongest class in that fight.. 🙂
