      I heard another podcast where they asked his history and he learned all this in his own healing and probably started actually helping people. He said he lost a ton of weight in the first month when his lymphatics started flowing.

    Thanks a lot! I'm shortly after operation, radio therapy and chemo. I had limphedema on my right leg and now struggling with neck limphedema. With leg my daughter took me to the doctor, who prescribed a lot of meds. I didn't take any. I just did breath exercise and worked with those Six. And it works! Your podcast added some more information to my understanding. Thank you for your talk!

    This was my first time watching this show. Dr. Perry just popped up in my algorithm 3 days ago, and I've been devouring his content. Thank you so much for interviewing him. I received some valuable information that I plan on implementing.
    Now, may I offer some feedback on the show. I would advise the host to go back through this interview and set a timer and guage the amount of time he talked and compare it to the amount of time the guest spoke. I think it would be eye opening to see the results. When the guest was finally allowed to speak freely without interuption, he was shut down and informed that the show was ending. And it was at a time when Dr. Perry was sharing his own testimony of how this work changed his life and why he's so passionate about his work. The host seems like a nice guy. I hope this feedback is received so adjustments can be considered.

      Yes, letting me guest speaker complete their points to their logical conclusions (when they're in full flow) really helps! Having said that; 'relavent' questions at appropriate times helps to relax the speaker, and by changing the 'pace' makes it more of an interesting 'conversation', especially when it involves defining unusual medical terminology / acronyms.

    Thank you for such an incredibly enlightening talk. I can 💯 resonate with the whole cause and effect of the physiological neurological effects of stress/ cortisol levels on the whole system, having suffered hyperamoniamia for years. Drs couldn't tell me why I had episodes when I smelt like cat piss and felt so toxic I couldn't think straight nauseous heavy achy joints and rapid muscle loss etc.
    I did workout that I felt mildly better if I kept moving rather than sitting or lying down as that made worse. Exercise induced sweating was the only thing that worked to get rid of it.
    However it was so hard to get to the point of sweating ,& if it wasn't kept going for longer than 20 mins from the point of sweating then you stopped...Wow!!! Did it make it worse.

    Since doing the big six, I have a bowel movement at least 3 times a day. I have IBS. I think this really is helping me. Who knew? I know that jumping on my trampoline each day and having a green smoothie has been very helpful to keep the attacks down. Trampolines help the lymphatic yet no doctor told me that clearing the lymph nodes would help my stomach pain. Thank you for your passion.

    • @Sean-h4l
      @Sean-h4l 8 місяців тому +2

      For starters, find out what is / are the underlying 'exciting and maintaining' factor(s) that keep the body 'responding' with excess swelling on that knee.
      There are many possibilities, but good places to start would be to get your Gait evaluated by a decent Chiropractor or ICAK Kinesiologist, as poor Gait could be putting unnecessary Biomechanical 'stress' on that knee.
      Alternatively you may wish to check for possible Parasites residing in either the knee or inguinal area on the same side as the swollen knee; just a thought!

    • @slampersand3145
      @slampersand3145 5 місяців тому +1

      I'd wonder if foot health is affecting gait, etc. I'm in barefoot groups where people need serious exercise and retraining of barefoot health.

    I wonder if people who already hold their tongue on the roof, have a better lymph flow?

    @52:00 it can defintely matter if the area you are working on is near an area that the body is used to sending a lot of electricity to on a regular basis, because if the stimulus of your rubbing crosses over into that big stream it could take over and start pulling the tissue towards it in a painful way.

    Tongue posture? That might suck for me. I've had well over 20 major surgeries in 15 years. Although, its been 19 years since my last one, my tongue isn't the same as a normal person's. One of my surgeries consisted of removing my tongue, and placing it back on, upside-down. The (current) left side is much thicker than the right side.
    Born with Vascular Malformation on my tongue.

    So I’d like to know about the lymphatic as a cause of issues but I’m not sure if people have low stomach all the time, it could be that many have too much and actually have silent reflux. Many of the processes in the body are acidic in nature.
    He’s also said people get stuck in the sympathetic and I thought that but as I’ve researched and tested I’m wondering if people actually lose autonomic tone so they lose their ability to regulate the nervous system and actually swing from one side to the other.

    Osteopathy never worked for me, made me much worse (in the UK). Including an old school classical Osteopath. I see a good chiropractor now. They dont know enough about the stress response. Any of these people. It's more complicated than the physical body. You have to work on the subtle body too.

    Whenever you are talking about "grounding" on sand, soil, grass or whatever other natural substrate you are standing barefoot on, I wish you'd add a disclaimer regarding parasites/worms. Grounding has ruined my life after getting parasites entering tiny cuts in my feet through the soil. Soil-transmitted helminthiasis has all but ended my life as I knew it.

      The rubbing the groin: yes I am a respiratory therapist I have a associate of applied science in fluid dynamics.
      I was in January in the hospital. I had just found this lymphatic drainage info. What I noticed was it would cause my blood pressure to go down. We are talking systolic 190 diastolic at 130 consistently non responsive to bp meds not only that I have steven johnson syndrome tens and so im in a 2 1/2 year allergic response to almost every med im given. And am unable to work or completely care for myself at this point. So here I am in my bed in the hospital I noticed the light on the camera goes on and I ask my nurse about it. I hear laughing from the nurses station they are laughing at me doing lymphatic massage my whole body and in my groin area because I'm thinking I have privacy. IGNORANCE! IT REALLY MADE ME ANGRY.
