How To Turn Off Engine But Keep Radio Playing With Nissan Cube Intelligent Key

Good info but it would be nice if you could also turn the radio on without having to start it first. Let's say you were on lunch break at work and just wanted to go sit in the parking lot and listen. You shouldn't have to start the car first. Also, is there a way to roll the power windows up or down without the engine running?

RKGSD you can by just holding it down.

You can turn on the radio by pressing the start button once with your foot off the break. However in my Nissan Altima 2013 I have to push the button once for radio, and 2 times to roll the windows down. Just don’t put ur foot on the break

Pressing it twice, will not work. Quick press, one time, will leave the radio on. I turned the car off first, with the brake, then, just a quick, soft press will do do the trick 👌🏽👌🏽

All you do is turn off engine then tap the button for acc mode without foot on break. No need for double tapping quickly

i tried it and it worked, but if you pull up to a parking space and double tap and keep the music playing and then you want to get out of your car and secure your car, you have to go through the whole start stop again. do you know a way around this?

I just tried this in my 2017 pathfinder it didn't work. But thank you because if it wasn't for this video I wouldn't have figured this out.
Just sit in you car with your keys with you. Close the door and tap the start button and the radio will turn on. Don't have your foot on the pedal. If you tap the button again you can open the door without the annoying door open beeps and still listen to the radio.
