Would like to see the Rambler tested. In the game, it says the CS is 1km, and with an industrial cooler and stealth parts, it can drop its listed IR and EM pretty close to ambient on Hurston.
On spectrum general, there is a thread called " I know why your missiles arent locking" and mentioned Cross section lock changing when enemy turning which causes loss of lock but the UI doesn't tell the pilot. check it out there
@cpt_foxyloxy there's just sooo much this game has to offer that people just aren't looking at. I just think it's great that awesome creators like you are experimenting and shedding light on some of the overlooked features. Keep up the good work!
Interesting. I knew this stuff was part of the game but I never really paid a lot of attention to it; your explanation makes it pretty easy to understand. The Aurora LN has two S2 hardpoints btw; one on each wing.
The LN has been my daily runabout for a few years. I just went on the Live servers and checked my ship; it does indeed still have the two S2 Attritions on the wing hardpoints. I don't see any way to submit info on Erkul but I don't have an account there; if you're involved with that perhaps you could let them know their information is incorrect.
Cool vid. Good to see practical applications of stealth in the Terrapin, but to be fair: if you're engaging in combat of any type, you're using it wrong. The Terrapin's strength will be stealth, but critically it will be in maintaining it, not using it to get the drop on someone with your size 2 guns.
Aww, it's disappointing that the Cutter's IR is so high. At least that low EM *should* give good defense against EM missiles (when they fix missiles...). But there also seems to be an interesting discrepancy: in Arena Commander, the figure being given for CS emission is now 1,152. Using [Suppress IR] also lowered the IR, but not by very much. Anyways, thanks for testing this!
Cant wait for my Polaris to be ingame, me and my NPC crew will strike terror in pyro, such a stealthy ship, especially with those torps, My Ironclad assault with its opening roof is rumoured to have excellent stealth, comes with NPC Crew and AI Blades, also with a jump gate jammer to squeeze through the tightest.
I tried doing a similar loadout on a Nomad I was able to get it down to 5000 detection range still stealthy for the Sniper guns same issue with Cross Section if facing ship very low but if at 90 degree angles or other is around 8000
Had a question about the stealth passive modifier for example on a Sabre with 40%, are these modifiers always applied or do I need to turn on stealth under power on the MFD for the modifier to take affect? Thanks
Other possible "stealth" ships are the Avenget Titan and the Hawk. By removing the gimbals you can reduce the IR by a considerable amount. Hawk is especially nice, since you can use four Strifes.
Just a thought on a ship not mentioned.... Reliant Kore I would be very curious to see you experiment with that and the numbers. It's profile is so unique. Plus, if you get the turret option, you will have 6! Yes 6! Size 2 guns.
You can increase the PIP by going into Keybinds > Vehicle Weapons> UI Gunnery Magnification. Enjoy
I managed to get the cutty red down to ir=3.7k, em=134.1. all power off but one pip to engines. with all grade c stealth comps.
The fact you made the buccaneer run is amusing. The m50 is stealthy fast hits like a stick of butter... yup fun XD
You have become one of my go to and favorite youtubers. Your personality is infectious. You have also helped me decide builds
Thank you so much!
Ah the sneaky terrapin slips in and takes the Ion. Nice!
Brother, I found you the other day and have been eating up all your videos. Please please keep it up!
Bro fr. I just found his vids recently and I've been watchin all of them ever since.
Thank you guys so much! o7

No one uses that echo chamber and moderated censorship forum. just bots and cultists.
You should've tested the 125a or the 135c. Having a tiny stealth smuggler would be sick
Looks like my stealth ship series isn't over yet...lol

Thank you, glad it helps. The Aurora LN has 4 size 1 hard points, you can check that info on Erkul.

Pisces and arrow! They get pretty good numbers
Guess more test is needed

ahhh, great job!
Thanks for this test, it's possible does a test with nomad , i think is interesting
When the Teerapin gets its proper radar set, it will be able to stay hidden really easy. We're talking like way outside of sensor range.
Had a question about the stealth passive modifier for example on a Sabre with 40%, are these modifiers always applied or do I need to turn on stealth under power on the MFD for the modifier to take affect? Thanks
The reliant tana could fit 6 strife cannons on it. Think you could kill a fighter before it got in range?
It has a lot of missiles too
Worth a try
Thanks Foxy. 😁👍
I'm assuming that the stealthiest ship is the Razor Ex due to being so small with stealth stuff.
Finally a use for my Herald until data running comes in.
The M50 is perfectly tuned, causing enough annoyance to make someone abandon attacking the primary ship.
Yeah, that thing is like perfect stealth PVP ship.
Lol you are no match for my annoying mosquito style. Lol.
lol, indeed mosquito style, good name.
If you're using mouse and keyboard, manual gimbals are much better with the strife
How mutch stealth gameplay is possible with the 400i and her bunch of rockets?
Yeah, i like the M50. But can you load missiles? This ship seems to be buggy. It explodes like it has no shild, when you bumping light on something.
yeah, it's like made of papaer

I'm sorry, sir! I mean the 325a 🤦
when you suppress the IR in the MFD under HEAT you don't have to remove any components! maybe strip some components, AND surpress the IR !
Tested in many of my previous videos, the Suppress IR doesn't work well, it only reduces the number on your ship, but not from enemy detection.
@@cpt_foxyloxyoh wow so they’ve been able to see me this whole
Time??!!!
Claasic Aurora 4xS1 Guns 4xS2 Mis and 1xS7 Torp xD
Could you let me know what the website is that you get those detail from please. Many thanks
One is www.spviewer.eu/
And the other is www.erkul.games/live/calculator
@@cpt_foxyloxy Thank you good sir
What about the c8?
looks like more test is neended

Now more homeworks to do
isn't the retaliator a stealth ship?
it is not
Unrelated side note. Could a person standing in the back of a Nomad catch a torpedo with a hand tractor beam?
Just a thought on a ship not mentioned....
Reliant Kore

I will do a video on that
Still waiting for 890j stealth demonstration
ahahahah.....It is way to stealthy to the point you can't even see it in the video, but it is there, always there.......
@@cpt_foxyloxy lurking around the corner waiting to sell you drugs.
Really wish we could exchange componets. Mine mostly sits around.
@@cpt_foxyloxy can't wait to have size 12 torpedos on it XD
Terrapin would be my daily driver if it weren't for the blinding lights in your face. idk why they thought that was a good idea
No stealth fury?
it is not stealthy enough
Love the Herald. Looks like a potato, flies like an eagle. It can shift nicely for a lump of metal. Gonna try this.
