STAR CITIZEN - WHEN SPEED MEETS STEALTH - RAZOR EX
In this video we take a closer look at the Mirai Razor EX. This variant of Razor ( one of three ) is the stealth variant. Owning all stealth components and a small radar cross section the Razor EX was modified for stealth in mind. To complement that small stealth capability this ship can reach blistering speeds and looks good while doing it.
The Mirai Razor EX is the stealth variant of the Razor racer, outfitted with signature-reducing materials and stealth components. It was originally a specialty build for the UEE Advocacy for use in surveillance and extraction operations.
Stealth: The vehicle was originally designed to be used by the UEE Advocacy for surveillance and extraction. Thanks to its signature reducing materials, the EX gives you the edge on other ships by helping to keep you off their scanners.
Speed: Although the overall speed of the vehicle has been reduced from the original racing version, it is still a fast and maneuverable ship.
Weapons: Due to its stealth, the pair of Size 2 gun hard-points as well as its pair of Size 1 missiles can do some damage if necessary.

Star Citizens Mirai Razor Ex, a ship with a very sleek design helping it achieve neck breaking speeds, while also have stealth capabilities thanks to its stealth components and specially designed materials. Possibly one of the fastest stealth variant of ship in game. But what do you guys think? How do you or would you use the Razor EX in star Citizen? As always let me know down below!!
We do have investigation missions, like the old Covalex mission and more are planned.
At the moment the EX IF and EM emissions are reverse, so her EM is massive compared to even the base Razor.
I bought and own it with LTI. I love this ship it looks better than on the screen and if you are like me you got the foundation skins when they were available to get and the foundation skin in polished aluminum and turquoise is absolutely perfect on this ship as well as every other ships it was available for, hope you all got them they were free for doing the minor achievement,I think it was 12 ships total skins.this ship is so fast and sleek, until they get real with the stealth I went with these components, 1 the power plant the (Slipstream grade A stealth more than enough power at 1788 and a power request time of only 1.25 seconds amazing for its size and is prepped for the stealth change found at Orison Cousin Crows,2 coolers I had to go with the (Zero-rush) fast on power request time is only 3 seconds fastest of all coolers, a grade B Competition-but top notch until stealth comes in at New Babbage, 3 Shields (Mirage) grade A Stealth top of the line 1725 hp pool and 450 regen pool without tweaking your power balance found at Orison Cousin Crows. 4 quantum Drive is (Atlas) Civilian grade A it gets a distance of 77.2 for jumps found at Hur L5 Platinum bay and the only Stealth in this size that gets the best distance is the Drift at 171318 speed and a spool time of 6.75 seconds only 35.01 distance and that's not enough for most planet to planet jumps you need at least 60 to be safe so the Atlas at 77 Mkm give you a buffer with economy and it is grade A as well as a speed of 151951and a spool time of 5.1 seconds,that's only a difference of 32 seconds per 20 mkm jump distance so a Arccorp to Microtech is about 1 minute and 30 seconds longer but at least you can jump that far.Now for weapons I went with low signature Ballistic weapons, remember your not a heavy fighter your not even a light fighter per say, But you are not in it for the long fight so get in and get out but if you do fight you want a punch and no power supply signature like laser type weapons giving away your position, So I went with the 10 series greatswords 2 of them will hit like a pit bull on a bad day 1008 dps and 275 alpha not bad and with 440 rounds between the 2 guns thats alot of shot as well as 2 missiles I recommend the Arrows if you hit on a stealth attack they won't see it coming til it's to late and that's a total of 4666 damage along with your guns you are going to make them see you are in it to win it then run away as fast as you can lol because that's all you got.Take care and see you in the verse.

I'm always jumping back and forth between the Razor EX and the Herald. Yeah, I know, these two ships couldn't possibly be more different from another, but all I want is a ship that's fast enough to get me out of trouble if need be. With the EX having the advantage of being stealthy and the Herald having a loo and a bed. I love them both.
Hard choice, in terms of speed . I guess it boils down to what you prefer? The fastest toilet in the verse or the fastest stealth ha ha ha. If I didn't have a MSR already 100% I would have a herald in my fleet.
On erkul the Origin 350r is the exact ship between these two. By comparing statistics.
I was flying the Herald on Daymar the other day - it reminded me of the old rally cars - a lot of metal, a lot of speed and power, and really bad handling. There is this unique thrill - a feeling of being on the precipice of disaster - that really makes this ship fun for me. I also enjoy the Razor EX - I use it to get in and out of com arrays quickly. The stealth component comes in handy as I am rarely targeted by the com array - or if I am, I'm pretty much already parked at the blind spot.

When the screen turns red. The blood isn’t in your legs it’s pooling in your head and around your brain and you’re seeing it in your eyes.
When the screen is blacking out that’s blood pooling in your legs or abdomen depending on if you pulling horizontal Gs or an upwards vertical G force.
Think of it as your pulling and turning so hard and fast your blood is still trying to stay where you were and not where you are going.
I'd love to see small stealth ships like the razor ex get to the point where I can hang out powered off in an asteroid field, canyon, forest, or somewhere else with some cover and not be detected by ship systems flying overhead

Good looking space ship, never tought about the fact that if i come blazing in with a M50 or 350r my sig is gonna be off the charts.
It's the little mouth/nose that turns me off but it looks different in different angles.
Stealth/Speed you made a fine choice and it can replenish fuel.
Yeah I like the M50 alot. Just not as much as I like the Razors ha ha.
Personally system shut off... momentum drift.. should be entirely & completelystealth.. in a stealth based ship. You are taking the risk, leaving your ship exposed with no shields. So there's a trade off.
yeah i understand what your saying , its a fine line to walk before stealth becomes too powerful. Ultimatley CIG will have to find ways to balance stealh gameplay.
Il definitely be putting one of these in my RSI Gakaxy cargo hold, with a X-1 and Atlas just to show off 😅💯

I escaped a Sabre at full throttle followed by a sharp break, roll, turn underneath and quantum. Couldn’t have pulled that off without the speed and manoeuvrability.
I'm really hope this ship along side a C8R will fit in my galaxy. It would be a great combo as i see that the galaxy will need air cover. Which I believe should be the direction because I believe the Galaxy is the best ship since the base building modular has been added. I have trauma though because i want the Vanguard to go back one ship... Lets hope the Galaxy is everything we want and more
@spaceman-pin have you reviewed the M50 and thought about comparing it with the Razor series?

I feel like stealth should be undetectable on some scans and frequencies, and you have to cycle thru modes on your radar to find them at first
But to find them your radar has to turn down louder noise so you cant lock onto stealth and non stealth ships in the same radar mode
love using mine to fly around the verse distorting small ships and watching them hit the ground.

I would like to know, if an EX will fit into a Connie Taurus like the Fury does ?
I've never tried, however I suspect it will, could be a very tight fit.
Does the stealth tech actually work in game right now?
Is there ship storage?
Would you recommend this or an arrow for daily driver. Like bunker missions.
I can't answer that, unfortunately that descion rests with what you prefer.
Neither are great for bunkers. Either you spend time to destroy the hostile turrets or you walk in from a distance where they cannot reach you. Any ship could do both. But the main allure to bunkers is loot. Neither of these ships hold much loot either. With that said if you don't mind taking less loot. Then both ships will do well enough at destroying turrets if you avoid damage.
On urkul games, the base razor is the one with the stealth specs. ex does not...
