Are you sure the 5050 is on the left and 6050 on the right? Maybe it looks different in person but on this you tube video the 5050 looks sharper and it is especially obvious when white words are displayed. Even on the play menu the "Play Movie" on the right is washed out. Can't even see the "ie" in movie on the right.

Love the collaboration... great video!!!! From what i could tell the image on the left was brighter which i preferred but i did notice the HDR was better on the right in the view of the city... my prediction is the 6050 but i don’t know the price delta.
Zack, great videos keep it up...It looks to me as though the 5050 (On the left?) was sharper in some of the scenes. That would be my choice from this demo.

you know you're going with the 6050,I know I would as from what I could tell it edged out the 5050 significantly from the view point we had.
Hey Chris, what projector do you think is better the Epson 6050ub or the Sony VPL-295es they are almost the same price and I'm confused as to which one to get...
How reliable are the Epson PJs now? Have read a lot of power supply issues specially on the 5040ub. Hope to hear your take on this. thanks

What ever is on the left side of the screen is the winner but I've always believed that a TV should be calibrated with spectrometers and software then we see the true differences

Thanks for the comparison but just an observation but shouldn't this video have been recorded on a 4K camera and uploaded in 4K.
we did shoot in 4k. Apparantly we didnt check the full resolution box on youtube so all our videos before this were 1080. Its should be fixed from now on
