Could someone help? I am about to buy a JVC RS1000 for a great price but I am wondering if the 5050 would be just as good and could put the savings towards better speakers? Thanks in advance
Question Dream Media Theater? I just bought a ESPON Pro L1100 rated at 6,000 lumen Color and White brightness with a 2,500,000 to 1 Contrast ratio. 4K Enhancement Laser Projector. I ran into a great deal with it today brand new for $2,800 dollars. And I wanted to ask you. I’m buildInch a big movie theater in my backyard with a 300 inch CineGray screen. With it being in a pure dark room no light coming in. Would 6,000 Lumens put out a good picture on a 300 inch screen?
So I'm going to ask yall the same question that I have asked almost every home theater projector youtube channel as well as sending emails to both epson and sony but sadly everyone wants to side step the question or just doesn't answer at all! My question is why do more expensive supposedly better projectors have less lumens as well as less contrast ratio? Anybody know who can actually answer this question?? Thank you!
the higher lumen race was mainly due to people putting projectors in their common rooms. ISF and other calibrating Sanctions are roughly around 1100 lumens when 100% calibrated. Projectors are MEANT to be in dedicated dark rooms. Just like when you go to the movie theaters. The big companies realize this and keep true to that standard. HDR requires more lumen output so thats why you see a jump from the 1080p projectors. All things are purposfully built. The more expensive projectors have better and more sophisticated lenses and more processing power for better picture.
@@Dreamediaav well thank you for responding to my question! You have come the closest go answering my actual question and its appreciated! I have contacted a home theater contractor and I have an appointment next week to meet and hes has both the sony 295 e and the epson 5050ub and 6050ub and is going to run all three one at a time so I can see the actual differences. I gave him the same question I gave you and he stumbled to give an actual answer and basically said it's something you have to see in person to understand so that's what I'm going to do! I have a funny suspicion I'm going to like the epson better even though the sony is considerably more money! But we will see! To me there just seems like something fishy is going on! Lol! There probably isnt but when multiple people in the "projector business" cant answer what seem to be simple questions, that's when my "spidey senses" rare up! Lol! Please ,No disrespect meant it's just that its frustrating to me that's all! Thank you for your time.
You know that guy in the bright Blue Shirt looks like Wyatt Russell that played in the movie Overlord. Lol
Wow, nice to see both of you guys...I enjoy both channels.
You guys are on a roll.
Good job both of you for your time and effort.
Would you recommend sony vs epson if yes, what model number and if you dont recommend, then Why,?
The music is 5 times higher than the voice volume, watching on TV is unbearable. I like the Videos but can't do it anymore
Main difference: 5000 native contrast (5050) vs 1500 native contrast (4050)
You have a 235.1 screen shoot them side by side, also checked on the 6050 and it does have isf calibration like the previous model.
Could you give me the model of the Denon receiver, thanks
What do you use for color calibration..calman?
Chris you have to let us know which projector you took home yesterday 5050 or the 6050. Please let us know. Thanks for the great collaboration again.
Have you had any issues with Epson projectors and faulty power supplies?
